Treo Battery Meter for Hermes?? - 8525, TyTN, MDA Vario II, JasJam General

Hello All,
I found the treo battery meter on the Cheetah section (Thanks to Vijay555). The .exe runs, and places the battery icon on the right place, but it does not change with time, it displays the startup level even when charging etc.
Can someone repack it or give me a .cab that i can use fully? Thanks

Don't bother with it. The guys hacked the existing Hermes battery meter to be significantly more useful. Look up the "green" battery meter and you'll find skins etc.
V

I have the different versions of the green battery meter, but it has several issues on the HERMES:
1. It changes the UMTS/3G icon to "E"
2. I cant have the Green Battery and the Clock on the title bar at the same time.
Plus I prefer having the volume icon covered.
Do you have any ideas as to why its not reflecting/collecting battery info in real time?
The Battery meter dll is part of Palms ROM and I havent been able to copy it out.
Thanks in advance.

ALternatively,
Does anyone know what the battery meter application is in the attached image?

It's not what your show there, but I really like this one:

xda mini s Battery meter percentage

I am new to this forum and it is brilliant. Thanks for all your help.
I have upgraded the ROM on my phone but I do not have the battery meter on the today screen showing the charge percentage.
Please can you tell me if there is any hack to the registry or free utility that I can use
Hi you dont say the rom you upgraded too. I assume its one of the aku2 roms. The battery should be on the task bar as standard, if its not have you used registry wizard that sometimes hides it?- if you want a better battery meter use batti - places a thin line at top of screen. Find attached
Thanks for that I have Rom 2.21.4.1WWE.
It shows the battery indicator at the top of the screen but before I flashed it I had the battery meter halfway down the today screen showing the percentage charge that the battery had
Oh yes that must of been a today screen plugin , (prob lost when you flashed? o2 plugin i think maybe someone could post it ) there are free ones available showing % see at www.pocketpcfreewares.com. Still prefer batti though, you loose no screen space
Thank you, your help is very much appreciated.
It looks like there are a few good ones to try on this website.
Thanks again

How to modify registery?

In the official WM5 ROM from I-Mate the battery icon is shown on the title bar and clock is hidden beneath it. Is there a way to bring it down to systray and make the clock visible? Please help.
download Batti v2.1 from http://www.freewareppc.com/utilities/batti.shtml and install it on your universal. In the settings for the app, uncheck "Show Battery Icon in Top Bar". That will display the clock in the top bar!
download Battery Watch v1.03 from http://www.freewareppc.com/utilities/batterywatch.shtml and install it on your universal to get the battery icon on your systray!
They're both freeware, so, enjoy!!
I found the answer to the part of my question at http://wiki.xda-developers.com/index.php?pagename=Universal_Registry about adding battery icon to systray and I would like similar procedure for its removal from title bar. Thanks for your help I will be certainly using your addon untill I get my desired answer. Thanks a lot once again.
I would recommend having Batti as a must-have application if you like battery stats! The rest is up to you of course, i always prefer moderate-functionality apps to messing with the registry myself! They're small, easier to handle, removable and just provide more functionality that reg-editting!!
I used Batti but it didn't removed battery icon. What happens is that when app installs it is already configured not to show battery icon but the icon shows so I enabled it just to give a try and as a result two icons were shown then I unchecked it and only the new icon went away. The original icon remained there. Registery hack is a must!!!
weird, now i'm wondering how i got rid of the battery icon I'll let you know if i figure that out
That's really very nice !!!!! Figure it out soon please !
Still awaiting response. Please somebody help me soon.

Battery/Charge Icon displayed in percentage

Hi,
I know there are multiple skins around that changes the battery icon so it displays the percentage of charge left. But I'm searching for a skin that also changes the plug-icon that's being displayed while the device is charging to an icon that that displays a percentage that counts up while it's charging.
The more simple the better
I know there's something called Arielbattery that does the trick, but I don't really like the idea that the original icon is still there, and that Arielbattery puts a new icon right on top of it.
I've searched the whole forum, but I just can't find it
Anyone knows if that exists?
Thanks in advance
I cannot give you a real solution. But s2u2 shows battery charge also while its charging. So it should be possible.
Edit: Just saw that this thread is very old. Sry

How to display clock and batt together?

Hi,
I'm on stock rom. I was wondering how can I display the clock as well as the batt together on the taskbar? I set to display the clock on all program but then the batt indicator would disappear. Any advise? Thanks.
Use VistaHide Battery Gauge
Wanting to see the clock all the time, I ran into the same problem given the time paints itself on top of the battery icon. So, I use this nifty little program called Vistahide Battery Gauge recommended in an HD2 tips thread. Cannot post a link so please do an internet search and you will find it.
Hi,
I need to know if there are any programs or settings that would clean all the temp files on your HTC HD2.
As well, can anybody tell me how do I change the Icons from above the screen (wifi, battery, network, etc) and how do I remove COPILOT from the stock rom?
Thank you very much for helping.

In terms of clearing temporary files I use a combination of Clear Temp (which is free) and SKTools (which cost me c.£15). These both do the trick pretty well from my perspective.
In terms of changing the icons in the taskbar do a search on xda as I remember seeing a post (or two) detailing how to do this. (I haven't done it myself yet).
In terms of Copilot I haven't used it at all yet (I've only had my HD2 for a week or so) but I presume you can remove the folder from the relevant Program Files folder. There are also some files on the included storage card, I think.

I use BattClock (which is free). It's a neat little tool that is pretty configurable. I currently display the time, date and battery percentage remaining (which changes colour depending on what the value is (i.e. 80% = green, 40% = yellow, 15% = red)). It displays on all screens, except those that take over the taskbar (such as Opera mobile 10).
Thanks for all the recommendations!
Was wondering if win6.5 is able to display both time and batt together like below?

¸¸.•*¨*•.¸¸Top bar icons & long line battery indicator

Over the past few days I have been searching for a cab which will allow the top bar icons to be replaced with nicer well polished options.
I have also been looking for a cab that indicates the battery life as a long horizontal multicolor line at the absolute top of the top bar.
Please see the attached photo for a better explanation.
Thank you in advance for your help.
Rudy.

Hi Rudy.
For the icons, there's actually many different ones to choose from, you'll want to search for "taskbar icon sets". Several of the most common ones include:
-brian's gfreek edition
-dafunk's B&W and NGTV taskbars
-dinik's anastasia
Those and many others will work on the HD2 even though they might have been designed for and work with other phones. The thread for any icon set you find should clearly label what WM builds exactly they work with.
I know the "long line" battery indicator is floating around the forums here, but I don't know the name of it off the top of my head...I'm sure someone here can point you to it.

Thank you for the direction on where to make the task bar even better. I found several options here:http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=639002 and selected this option: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=602295
The Vista Hide battery gauge is an exe file, I always thought that .cab was the only install vehicle.
Learning every day,
Rudy.
I have tried many different task bars and none of them worked...except diniks recently worked for me. I use this http://battlinesvc.codeplex.com/releases/view/41597 plus diniks and it works great. and you can choose any colors you want...to make them fit your theme...different color for charging off the charger and low batt.

thats what i thought as well.. i didnt really pay attention when I first installed this until i actually clicked on it and realized it was an exe file. works though =) ... i dont use it unless i flash a rom that initially doesn't show the battery, instead, showing the clock.
