xda mini s Battery meter percentage

I am new to this forum and it is brilliant. Thanks for all your help.
I have upgraded the ROM on my phone but I do not have the battery meter on the today screen showing the charge percentage.
Please can you tell me if there is any hack to the registry or free utility that I can use

Hi you dont say the rom you upgraded too. I assume its one of the aku2 roms. The battery should be on the task bar as standard, if its not have you used registry wizard that sometimes hides it?- if you want a better battery meter use batti - places a thin line at top of screen. Find attached

It shows the battery indicator at the top of the screen but before I flashed it I had the battery meter halfway down the today screen showing the percentage charge that the battery had

Oh yes that must of been a today screen plugin , (prob lost when you flashed? o2 plugin i think maybe someone could post it ) there are free ones available showing % see at www.pocketpcfreewares.com. Still prefer batti though, you loose no screen space

Could someone post this plugin?
Or does anyone know of a 3rd party plugin that is as simple as the original O2 plugin? All I want is the battery meter and I find the one above too small!

i used to use batmemtime on my axim
you can show as much or as little info as you like as like you i only wanted a battery bar.

Top Bar for Touch 3G ?!

Hello, i search urgently a tool to the white icons (battery speaker Bluetooth, etc.).
Touch HD says "top bar".
Touch 3 g does this but unfortunately not.
Someone has a solution?!

What exactly you want to do with it. There are many threads discussing the subject, depending on the specific areas, e.g. changing battery icon, missing icons, etc.

There is the possibility touch Diamond & HD in the upper taskbar icons with colored icons (battery, Bluetooth, receive display) to change.
I search a way this also touch 3 g to change.
Because it only a resolution of 320 x 240, the tools of diamond & HD sorry.

I don't understand you very well... You want the Diamond/HD icons in your 3G?

Actually the taskbar icons is not dependant on the set brand or model, it's dependant on the screen size (vga, qvga, sqvga, etc.) and windows version. As Jade (Touch3G) is using qvga, there are many threads doing this already, example below, and a few more if you search through.

In fact I changed my taskbar icons using the above thread. Sample images attached.

arthemus doesn't work
Does enyone knows why the arthemus taskbar does not work with my Toch 3G?
The taskbar looks unchanged and the battery shows allways full charged!

I had similar problem when first installing it. It's the method of installation, something missing. If you follow the thread carefully, there is an explanation of how to overcome.

Top TaskBar
In these days I am about to replace my Start top taskbar with one of the products made by tsowen, and CraZyLiLbOy.
My preference is to make use of a cab file which will be easy and sure.. But need to make sure if it is enuf and suitable qvga, GSM....
I have already asked there and try to find out the correct response for below;
"Probably I missed, I want to be sure that their the last taskbar skins are suitable for GSM and QVGA too ??
Is this cab file installation enuf or still do we need to install some other files such as sdkcerts.cab and more ??."

Sdkcerts.cab is required. Run sdkcerts.cab just once. then the downloaded cabs should install everything. (however please read specific instructions by the skin creator, if any)

Question about Time/Battery on Taskbar.

Hi there,
I tried my friend's Diamond with cooked rom( not sure which version is it)
I found that their Time/Battery display is quite useful.
When it is on Today page, it will show Battery on Taskbar(Since we have a big clock of TF3D, we don't need a extra one)
But once I opened any other programs, it will show Time on Taskbar.
Do anyone know who can they do that?
Can i change that by regedit?

You can try TouchLockPro, which has a BattClock and is at the same time a locking utility. It works on any Windows Mobile phone with TouchScreen. But probably some of the sensors work on the Xperia, like the light sensor.

Settings > Clocks & Alarms > More tab > Display the clock on the title bar in all programs

Top Taskbar shows running apps (like on PC)

I saw a picture where the top taskbar shows running programms on the right from start button (in the same size as start icon)!
Could anyone please tell me the name of the app or send a link or even better - post a cab!!
BTW Im using Htc Touch HD - WVGA screen, WM6.1

That would be very cool. Actually Wktask works good, but in portrait, the taskbar doesn't look very good, because there is so little space.
But if the taskbar would work like windows 7, with icons only, it would be very great!

How? I bet it can not. I mean icons in the taskbar of all running programs.

You go in Preferences - Design - and on the top is Presented Type and there you change "Icons-only style. That`s it.

Colour Battery Icon with % remaining on QVGA?

Im looking to change the battery icon with a percentage one as in the very first post by FInixNOver . Everytime I try and install one of these, the percentage is scrambled and not readable.
Its obviously because of the QVGA screen, but the HTC Jade, also with a QVGA screen, flashed with the Megade 1.7.3 ROM has a working % above the icon, so it can be done, I just don't know how
Are there any registry settings to sort it out, or a working cab?

One additional comment to my post...if you use BattClock it does not show the battery icon.....only percentage......hope this is helpful
