Contac Pictures? - Wing, P4350 General

I was wondering if their is anyway that i could Put a pic on all the Contacts i call the most or the ones saved in the Today Screen. What i mean is like Having a pic of their face instead of just saying the name.
Any ideas?

Use PocketCM, it gives you the pictures that you want, a new intercface adn it's extremly skinnable.
Pocketcm.com

if you are using outlook for you contacts just go down to edit then change photo

if you go in to the contact list...find your contact...and then edit their information, there is a section that says "Picture"...just click on it and choose a picture you want to have show up for that specific contact.

Showing Own Photo and Name in Conversation Mode in HTC Messaging

I'm satisified with the Messaging Hotfix published by HTC in 14 Jan 2010.
In the Conversation Mode, i can see the photo whom i'm taking to. (from contact)
However, i can only see "Me:...." with "anonymous photo" for those i replied...
I want to know if it's possible to replace the "Me" with my own name and also the "anonymous photo" with those i chosen?
I know it's not essential but...just for fun maybe...
regards...

Go to your contacts and fill in your details / pic for the "me" contact - That should do it i think!
(might be called something different, I don't have my phone on me atm - but it's the only contact in the list that has the arrow icon thingy).

You don't create a contact with your details. The very top one in the list of all people should be one called "Me". You put your details in there. Mine's linked to my facebook info so it shows my facebook profile picture next to me in conversations.

Thank you very much.
I can do it..
But can I also change the word "Me"...
Thank for yr help.....
Go to the people tab and click more, then you will see all your contacts. The top one is called "me". Add your detail there and this will show up in the sms conversations.

Is the pic embedded in the e-mail or just an attachment? When you open it, does it open in the sense picture viewer app?
it is embedded i think, coz it just shows up as the email body.
[bump] still no answers....

If it is embedded in the email you should be able to click and hold and it should give you an option to save down. Are you reading the email through the phone or are you reading it through opera or IE
i'm reading it through the phone
have you tried checking the image properties. It could show the text as one file and the image as another. In which case you should be able to long press on the image file and save.

Own picture

In tattoo, when I open messages and some person, I can see his picture (If he got one), but I see myself as unknown... How to put pic for myself?
Open your contacts app, you'll see the very first entry is the one called "me" or "myself" or "I" (don't know, since in German the Tattoo calls me "Ich"... ). There you can customize your appearance by a photo and other stuff (address, email, blablabla)...
tnx alot! Else couldnt find this...

CM7 And "Me" in messages

Hello everyone I have tried searching for this but cant not find it. the one link that I did find returned a dead page.
What I am asking today is in reguards to CyanogenMod 7 and messaging. I text a lot and find it annoying that the "Me" in messages does not have my picture in it. Before I went from stock everything to CM7 I had the ability to edit me contact card and this allowed my pic to display for my messages sent. But now I can not find out how to do. I was told to do Settings > Call Settings > Additional Settings > My Phone Number but I do not see additional settings.
While it is not a big thing it does annoy me as my OCD kicks in and I see received pics of the contact but an android bot as my pic. Can anyone help me out with this.
BTW here was the dead thread link

I'm not sure if this is the right way or what, but it's pretty easy. Just create a new contact using your own phone number. Name the contact 'Me'. Then select a picture of yourself to set as the photo for the 'Me' contact. Save your changes. Your picture should now appear in the text mesaging threads as the Me contact.

I will try this to see if it will work, but that will last till my OCD kicks in when I try to make my contacts look better LOL.
Will post back if it does/does not work.
Edit- Thanks k2buckley that did it. Appreciate the help with that. But having "Me" in my list will bug me in a bit I am sure. Stupid OCD LOL

It should work. I use that method on every AOSP rom I've ever used, because I also hate seeing the blank spot on the 'me' contact. Should work no problem.

My text has my gmail picture....I think I uploaded it to latitude once and it got associated with gmail.
Anyhow, you should be able to add a contact pic to your gmail and it will show up.
My phone also has the same picture in my contacts where I have put all my information for myself. I didn't associate it with this contact, so it must be done through Gmail.
