I've tried to upgrade my Touch Cruise stock ROM to Polaris_WWE_0.67_Premium_bepe but I keep getting the same error FEHLER 262
and it stops at 0%. I've attached the error screen.
Any help appreciated,

is your battery over 50%?
Do you have HardSPL installed?

Thanks for help I downloaded both files ant tried with mautupgrade_noid twice as it says but still get a probblem with upgrade starting. When stage1 of upgrading starts with "erasing old ro" it stays on 0% and don't want to start erasing. after few minutes show error and says reset and repete. Is there any help or experiance. My qtek 2020i stills dead

I did solve my problem with few trials with maupgrade_noid from magicians ftp site. Thank You a lot onse again for the help

hopefully somebody can help.. have an 02 Orbit currenty will only go into bootloader mode. IPL 1.25.0001 SPL 1.11.0000 and has RUU in top right corner. Most times when plug USB into sytem USB will come up bottom left corner
Tried flashing various Roms from standard 02 - lastest anja_ diamondsty v01 cooked. it starts the download but everytime an error notice comes up... The update utility cannot be used for your PDA phone. Please get a newer update utillity ... any ideas?

Try flashing a different ROM or try re-downloading the one you want to use. THe IPL and SPL seem fine on your phone.

That is the challenge ... the error message comes up when trying to install any ROM

cause i got the same...my artemis is connected to my pc with Bootloader/USB-Connection,started the Update Utility(as I did it many,many times before^^without any problem) and after it verified the Information on my phone,
it brought this error 200lease get a newer update utility...
Why does it do that?? A few hours before it worked great and now? Every ROM,Artemis Touch 4.02,B&B4.3,BB5,Artemis Diamond,even the USPL,has now this error!
By this moment, it looks like I'm unable to put any ROM on my Artemis...

Got the original o2 rom on the pc from my friend, with this connection(o2rom,other PC) it worked...for now...because after starting my artemis i wanted to get my old Artemis Touch 4.02, so i run USPL but after 100 % it brought the error 270...
I try to flash UDK Syrious R0 and he stuck on 17%, after that I can't install anything. I try recover but he stuck at grey screen @ 0% and after 1 minutes hard-spl say to me error 262 communication error. What I can do?
did you hard-spl your device before flash it with this rom ?
if no, you must hard-spl your device before installing any rom

I have exactly the same problem. Now I'm stuck in bootloader! Hard reset does not work.
Flashing just stopped at 17%
what now?
I not installed hard spl on my just flash it replug device usb cable he goes to 17% and stuck. I try different rom after that but don't help stuck on 0 %. Hard reset not working.

ok, here is what happened:
I copied enterbootloader.exe to sd card and executed it there!!!
Why I did that I dont know, probably I did not understand what means "install" Hard SPL. FCK !!!
So now I'm stuck in bootloader, I cant update rom, coz I cant connect with activsync and Hard reset does not work.
Any help can be apreciated

I have readed it, no information about it.
First install Hard-SPL, then upgrade your ROM later. Maybe you can try installing Hard-SPL now?

You can do this with a signed ROM. I tried it but it just keeps resetting on me after the color bars show up, you might have more luck.
check if your battery device is more than 50 % charged....

I feel sorry for you all, but step 1 in udK's installation instructions is to install hard-spl (if you don't have it already) .
have tried to flash my phone today , with no success
everytime i try either using hard SPL v1 or Touch IT , i get the same error
get the tricolour screen then says no image , i then try and flash and get connection 262 error
anyone any ideas what i am doing wrong ?

Remove the SD card when flashing this way - that will fix the 262 problem.
Hey guys i need your help badly, I was trying to flash my htc hd touch (blackstone t8282) with Energy.BLACKSTONE.21916.Sense2.5.MaxSense.Dec.22, everything was fine till 44% then it got stuck and now am not able to recover my htc and not able to get any display than "upgrade ROM code error please try again". i tried so many times but its not happening. I am trying it to do from windows 7 32bit machine. and on display am getting following informations too:
BLAC100 32M
SPL-1.54.0000
MICROP-BLACKSTONE (LED) V6

I flashed this weekend on a Win 7 machine with SPL 1.56 Olinex and didnt have any problems.
Have you looked at the Wiki and read up on flashing?
Google the error message you got.
You should find others have had the same problem and managed to sort it.
Take a look at TASK 29 it may help. From what I understand it formats the phone.

Flash the original rom
Hi Thanks for ur valuable suggestions,
But sir am a beginer with htc, yesterday whole day i try to upgrade my phone, but still its showing the same, i tryed to follow uour steps, but am getting error codes 262 & 264. Now am totaly upset..i searched in google but am not able to do, rom updation now going up to 1% after that its diconnecting and generating error, please give me your valubale suggetions, am waiting.I tried RUU_BlackStone_HKCSL_WWE_1.19.831.0_Radio_52.49a.25.26_1.09.25.14_Ship.exe but its showing failed.Please help

You can just soft-reset your device and run RUU again. The update process will then continue.
keep in mind At this point, wince is destroyed, but is in upgrade mode it can not recover and the device must be sent back to the customer service center. In this case, you have to flash a new rom code.
