and other stuff...
I would like to use S2P as my default media player - that is, in HTC home when i click the Media button i'd like it to load S2P instead of Windows Media Player. Advanced configuration does not have S2P in the menu so i can't change it there.
Also, i'm using Thumbcal and would like to use it as my default calendar when clicking the calendar appointments in the today screen.
if anyone knows how to switch these using registry modification or any other way i'd appreciate it greatly.
thank you.

Is there any way you can increase the number of items displayed in the Program Shortcuts part of the app? And is it possible to replace an unused tab with another Program Shortcuts tab?
Failing that, how does one redirect the media player to TCPMP? It doesn't seem to be in the list of installed players...
PS: Yes, I have used cLauncher. I just want to see if the Home Plug can do something like it... and given that rlToday doesn't support multiple pages, it would be nice if the Home Plug can do that.
Is there anyway that I can set a right softkey change in titanium? )Not left softkey, that is very easy to do with registry editor. But I can't find options like that for the right softkey which would probably be SK2)
For example:
My Photos Panel - All Photos = From Pictures & Videos App to HTC Album
My Music Panel - Library = From Windows Media Player to any other music application (S2P, Core Player, Kinoma Freeplay, Audio Manager, etc)
^Those really are the only tabs I want to change. Please help. PLEASE there has to be a way. Maybe somehow editing CRP files in the Windows directory, or changing the values in a registry editor in the same style as SK1TEXT, SK1URL, etc.
I've tried inserting my own keys into the registry : "SK2TEXT, SK2URL," and they didn't work.
Anybody??
is anyone out there to help me???? would cLauncher help me to do this ^??!?!
I believe thats only changeable in each plugin registry values, and some really need that key so I wouldnt advise it, you can however, use Gullum's Quick Launcher with the GP editor for that, but only in THAT plugin, not for the others. I havent tested CLaunch yet. :/

go to HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Shell\Rai\
there you have a list for default programs, just go through them and you will find what you need
for example, for audio manager open key :MSPIMG and edit string named 1. Put HTCalbum.exe and it will become your default picture browser

Hi all,
I have always used Pocket Player (PP) as my music player in WinMo 6.1 (purchased). It is by FAR the best player doing practically everything. After upgrading my HD to HD2 I discovered that everytime I start PP, HTC AudioManager starts in the background ( as a process) taking the CPU to 95%. Even after I close PP, AudioManager process keeps the CPU at 80%-90% draining all the battery... and I always have to use a task manager to kill it manually...
AudioManager CANNOT be removed as it a ROM file and I have not figured out a way to block it from starting with PP. Can anyone help me, remove AudioManager, block it, get rid of it in any way possible??? (I even removed all AM registry keys but after starting PP the keys appeared back again!
Thanks.
AudioManager was probably set to launch upon boot by a program.
Are you running Co0kie's Home Tab 1.8.5 ?
Yes, I am using Co0kie's Home Tab 1.8.5. Is this manila mod (CHT) the cause? Should I remove CHT? I use my HD2 heavily as a walkman (over 1,500 songs on it) so I am desperate to have my Pocket Player working perfectly...).
Yes, CHT 1.8.x has 3 more "extra space" screens in addition to the Home screen which is at level 1. The AudioManager is running at level 0. Swipe the Home screen downwards and you should see the music player.
You don't have to remove the entire CHT to rectify this issue.
1) Click on "Menu" at the bottom right-hand corner of Today/Home screen.
2) Click on "Edit Home Layout" option.
3) Click on "Level 0 - Extra Space"..
4) Click on "Advanced" at the bottom right-hand corner
5) Uncheck/Disable the the option "Show music player" at the bottom of the list.
6) Click on "Done" to exit out all the way.
7) Soft-reset.
Cheers.
No luck... Removed Sense Music Player from CHT and restarted the HD2 without Sense too but on Spb Mobile Shell 3.5.5. Started Pocket Player (4.1 - latest release) and HTC AudioManager reappeared again as a process taking 94% of the CPU and taking the Snapdragon cpu to its knees...
It looks like if a media player is started, some form of system audio libraries/dlls are loaded and these are related to (or given by) HTC AudioManager. Once the AM process is killed everything is back to normal and the HD2 speed breezes..
So back to square zero....
is there to make a panel for my dash 3g for kinoma media player or use the shortcut key

Click to collapse
You can try CHome editor for making the panel for it. Try your softkey shortcut config it may have the option for Kinoma. If not then another way would be to download and install SmartToolKit RC08. Don't bother with any of the other STK cabs because they're extremely unstable, especially RC09. With smart tool kit comes a full vista-like menu that is a lot easier than the normal dash 3g functions because it puts it on the homescreen and works identical to a PC start menu. Meaning it if you click the start softkey it overrides the normal function allowing for the STK menu to appear and disappear. A lot of folks cringe at the idea of using it since RC09 was so buggy, but it actually works really well for me (especially since I'm so lazy)...lol.
