Hi all,
I would like to know where i can buy the AT&T Tilt's Motherboard/Main Board off the internet. I am in India, and here HTC has motherboard for the Tytn II only. Will this motherboard fit to the TILT too? (no front camera!)
Also they are not sure of its stock, so wondering if i can buy it off the net, i can give them to fix it for me.
Problem is with the motherboard regarding gsm band problem.
Thanks.

Ok, what does anyone think about the MDA Vario III its got a 400MHZ processor and from what I"ve heard we maybe getting this device for our newly configured 3G network .... Its a very nice device, but just wanted to know what other people think about this device .....any thoughts..prices,specs,availability,etc???
Thanks to all.
the Vario III is the HTC kaiser in a tmo name. Is the wing even available in Europe?
anyway, hardware-wise, the kaiser wins, but the "driver issue" i guess would be the deciding factor. either way, i'd go with the kaiser.

definitely agree ,but yes we will be trying to use this handset hopefully after summer due to the new 3G network trying to be a 1700 band freq...(not sure thing though) but the tilt even if unlocked isnt suppose to be able to even work on the 3G t-mobile network thats why they are suppose to bring this to us...but yes i think this is used in Europe ... but please explain what u mean aboout the driver issue??havent hear this one....thanks for the input so far.
Hello,
I am soon going to be replacing the digitizer on my Verizon Trophy (mine is scratched), and I was wondering if anyone knows if the digitizer and lcd from the GSM version will work on my cdma trophy?
From comparing photos they seem identical other than the GSM version saying "HTC" instead of Verizon on the top of the digitizer, and most of the ads I see say "Digitizer for HTC 7 Trophy Verizon" or something like that..
If anyone has used a gsm digitizer and lcd on their cdma trophy please let me know how it went.
I personally wouldn't mind it saying HTC instead of Verizon.. Just my .02

I tired like hell to get a hold of a GSM Trophy, to really see what the differences are. I know for a fact that the battery doors are different between the two of them (they look the same on the outside, but one snap-in hinge is different). As for the digitizer, I always guessed that they where basically the same, but I haven't replaced a SparkW's digitizer yet, so I couldn't tell you. :/
Yesterday I fell prey to purchasing a T8585. Which will not work for me in 3G. I figured that out after I purchased. However I may have got the seller to stop the device from going out. He says he contacted the warehouse to stop, he hasn't emailed me again yet.
Anyway I had another thought that I haven't seen on this site before. Since the hd2 t9193 is so incredibly expensive and out of my price range, and I may have to drop this WM6/android phone obsession in general. I can't find any where that offers a price under $600. People realize what they have and that it's highly sought after. Like a late model sports car, not made anymore. Has anyone thought of this idea: That of, Taking a hot fine-point soldering iron and pulling the 900/2100 3G band chip off the board, and replacing it with another one that will work? Is it that rare of a kind of chip... not possible?
Obviously the builders do it easily.
I asked nearly the same question to 'Wayne Hardman' of Hattix and received this reply:
---The short answer is: "No".
The long answer is that on UMTS Or HSDPA the T9193 is an 850 MHz device, while the T8585 is 900/2100, but the kicker is that you need to replace the entire logic board. The T9193 is hardware locked to not use 800 or 900 MHz bands while the T8585 is locked to not use 850 MHz (some Broadcomm patent or other) and you need to replace the entire baseband to do that. Some of the baseband is in the "radio chip", but some of it is also in the QSD8250 SoC.
So what I'd do is indeed replace the entire logic board. Just pick one up from eBay which has a smashed screen or something like that. Alternatively, if you don't care much for 3G at all (why not carry around a MiFi or similar?) then both devices will work on AT&T's 2G/EDGE network."----
But I do care about 3G. To follow up on my 1st thread, I have not heard again from the seller as to whether it has been shipped or stopped, nor has the money been returned.
I was able to cancel my transaction completely, and I received a full-refund. I was fortunate. I'm now considering to give up completely on the Win 6.5. It is sad really. I cannot find any good way to live in both worlds anymore. The HD2 was a good dream. Pretty soon I will purchase a high-end Android phone with top-of-line specs under a contract.
I would love a T9193
I live in mexico an have the same problem with 3G and would love to get my hands on a T9193, 3g would work great!
Which one is for tmobile and which is for att?
Sent from my PIXELDROID HD2 using Tapatalk 4
TMOUS HD2 is for t-mobile US with 1700/2100 3g
this model has 1GB flash memory, green call & red end key & plastic body extends about 1.5mm extra from bottom edge of the glass screen to incorporate the different radio hardware
T9193 is Australia Telstra model with 850/2100 3g which did work under att
T8585 is standard worldwide model with 1900/2100 3g
All models are quad-band GSM but TMOUS model has by far the best reception from my testing due to better antenna design.

Sorry for bumping this thread, but can i just swap the logic board from mt TMOBILE HD2 into my new HTC HD2 T8585?
If USA T-Mobile with green/red call/end keys the board probably won't fit in the EU T8585 rear housing as USA T-Mobile mainboard is bit longer & casing on the USA T-Mobile differs to allow for this.
T8585 boards can go to USA T-Mobile but usb & headset socket sit short.
You best looking into it as you could use the USA T-Mobile rear cover housing too perhaps.
Hey guys, I purchased a N910C which ended up meeting a grim fate but they mainboard was still working fine * tested it on a friends 910c chassis. My question is with the variant with Exynos vs Qualcomm will there be any issue ( service and connection ) with installing a Exynos N910c motherboard on a ATT N910A chassis?
** I am aware the N910C is missing a band for ATT but just wondering of any faults since they are both GSM models.
Thanks in Advance.

All note 4 variants are built on the same size chassis. As long as you use all N910C modules, there won't be any issues after installing the motherboard on the N910A chassis-any variant in this regards.
I understand if If swap everything out it will work. I am speaking of the situation where the mainboard is swapped and nothing else. So N910C mainboard and N910A everything.
That is my concern.

I know this answer is old, but yes, the phone itself will still work, with the exception of anything camera-related, since the Exynos variant uses Samsung's ISOCELL sensor, while the SD805 ones use Sony's. Which means you'll have to replace the camera sensor too if you want a fully-functional Note 4. Learned that the hard way with my AT&T Note 4, using motherboard taken from the N910S variant.
I just put a 910f mainboard in an att chasis and everything works great so far
Hey folks. Just got my S4 I337M back from sending it away with Rogers for repair. I was foolish and didn't think about how I flashed it previously, so it got sent back not fixed, with the paperwork claiming mainboard failure. I'm more than happy to fix this privately, but I'd like to shop around for the part myself. Problem is that the price is very inconsistent between provider brandings. Is there a difference between them at all, so long as it isn't a mini or value edition or whatever other branding? I just want to get the cheapest fix available for this thing so I can cost out the difference to just getting a new phone. Thanks for any info.
Then you are better off buying a phone with a busted screen and just replace the motherboard.
Do take into account that some providers lock the bootloaders. Also take into account that the S4 variants all not all the same, so not every motherboard might fit in perfectly.

Not to be ungrateful, but this only rephrases my initial question. I'm aware that there are several variants and that there are several methods of acquiring the board, either new or from a busted phone. My question is which boards wouldn't be compatible with the I337M variant.

You are changing the whole board, not just one small part from the board. This includes the ram, processor, internal memory and such, right?
So the only incompatibility issues there may be are the frame and board sizes. Theoretically you can put any other S4 board in there (as long as you change the whole motherboard and daughter board).
But I doubt there is any way to tell which fits in what, unless you try it.
Just get one from another I337M is my suggestion. Hope this is somewhat more clearer now.
There are two options for an s4 from a Canadian carrier: sgh-i337m (Telus, Rogers, Bell) or sgh-m919 (Wind, Videotron).
For the i337m, it does not matter which carrier sold the phone as the hardware is identical and ROMs from sammobile.com for the i337m can be cross flashed among carriers. The only difference is the pre-installed apps. I have a Telus s4 (came with 4.4.2) that I flashed with Bell 5.01 firmware. Same applies to the Wind/Videotron version of the s4.
In the i337m and m919, there are connections for USB flex cable, cameras, headphone jack, LCD, and wi-fi cable. No other boards that I noticed.
If you want a motherboard with a busted screen, check out Kijiji or craigslist. Just make sure the imei has not been blacklisted, and the wifi and sim reader work.

There's plenty of ways to tell, like asking someone with a working knowledge of these devices, which is why I'm on this forum. To learn and apply. Speculation isn't useful.
