Hey guys, I purchased a N910C which ended up meeting a grim fate but they mainboard was still working fine * tested it on a friends 910c chassis. My question is with the variant with Exynos vs Qualcomm will there be any issue ( service and connection ) with installing a Exynos N910c motherboard on a ATT N910A chassis?
** I am aware the N910C is missing a band for ATT but just wondering of any faults since they are both GSM models.
Thanks in Advance.

All note 4 variants are built on the same size chassis. As long as you use all N910C modules, there won't be any issues after installing the motherboard on the N910A chassis-any variant in this regards.
I understand if If swap everything out it will work. I am speaking of the situation where the mainboard is swapped and nothing else. So N910C mainboard and N910A everything.
That is my concern.

I know this answer is old, but yes, the phone itself will still work, with the exception of anything camera-related, since the Exynos variant uses Samsung's ISOCELL sensor, while the SD805 ones use Sony's. Which means you'll have to replace the camera sensor too if you want a fully-functional Note 4. Learned that the hard way with my AT&T Note 4, using motherboard taken from the N910S variant.
I just put a 910f mainboard in an att chasis and everything works great so far

Hello
I'm wondering are the spare-parts for Note 3 N9000 compatible with the N9005 variants?
Because i just got a Singapore N9005 version but i live in Indonesia and they sell the N9000 variants here.
I know the warranty is not valid here but just want to know, in case anything happens to my device (ex. shattered screen) will they be able to fix it using the n9000 parts? I mean...the back housing, front housing, screen, or usb ports, they shouldn't be any different between types right?
Thanks.
no reply eh I guess i have to drive all the way to Samsung service center to ask about it
I damaged the digitizer in my N900T and found it cheaper to buy a used phone then to buy a new digitizer. I found a N9005 but not sure if the hardware is compatible. They're both GSM, and I know T-Mobile used the N9005 a few years back, but I don't know if I can swap the mother board of the N9005 with the one from the N900T.
Try these links: (NOTE: make sure you swap the charge port as well as this has the LTE chip which is not compatible with other boards)

I am VERY familiar with the teardown of the N900T. Are you suggesting that the N9005 does NOT have the LTE chip, or the N900T does NOT have the LTE chip? OHHHHH...I think I understand. the Charging port has the LTE chip on it, and MAY not be compatible with the N900T board. Kewl...Thank you.
Afaik, T-Mobile in the USA never used the n9005, only the n900t.
The N900T can not be used in the N9005. The boards are different sizes. Now I know. ?

I suspect the motherboard in my Note 4 is on it's last days; slow, endless bootloops, random freezing, rebooting and so on.
I found a used unlocked Note 4 with a broken screen and opened it up to check out the motherboard.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but to me, the T-Mobile Galaxy Note 4 N910T and the North American Galaxy Note 4 N910W8 use the same motherboard.
Take note of the model numbers at the top right corner (near the front-facing camera) and also the model numbers of the chips used.

I've replaced N910W8 motherboard with the N910T and reinstalled the T-Mobile Stock ROM and everything works well.
(Sorry, I couldn't get inline images, only links.)
Can I used a stock Rogers ROM (like the other motherboard N910W8) on the N910T motherboard or is it not going to work?
If I try to flash a different ROM (Rogers) onto the T-Mobile motherboard am I going to brick it?
Need advice 'cause I'd rather use a different ROM than a T-Mobile ROM. Nothing personal against using the T-Mobile ROM. I'd just like to use the stock ROM for the carrier I'm using.
P.S. I live in Canada and the phone is confirmed to work on our networks using the T-Mobile ROM and a custom ROM.
So my motherboard is toast (yes, I'm positive) and I'm shopping around for a used one. Since I'm pretty sure all versions of the S8 use the same internal layout & connectors I can probably put any version motherboard in as its replacement.
That being said, which model motherboard would be my best bet for the following:
-Must support T Mobile USA (all the bands they utilize) if unlocked
-Has the best ROM support
a third bonus would be having great worldwide band support since I travel, given it's already covered my first requirement (having all t mo band support).
Thanks.
Well your kinda hindered a little bit because you have to go for the snapdragon variant of the board.
There is root but there are issues with it, and as far as I know not many people are developing roms for the snapdragon variant.
Also the snapdragon variant probably isn't going to work world wide, just like the exynos version doesn't support American bands, the US variant won't work in European countries

Are you sure they aren't pin compatible? I'd be somewhat surprised if Samsung actually had two board produced (but maybe). If this is confirmed by teardown or whatever then thanks for the info

I have a bad S8 plus board and my friend has a working one but it's S8 not Plus....can I use S8 board to replace S8 plus ?
Hi everyone, i have a galaxy s4 i337m with a dead board, but display, screen, frame, battery, and everything else works.
I can fit i9505 replacement board on my i337m? The boards appear to be pretty much the same but I'm not sure if they're compatible. Thanks in advance
If it's the mainboard only you should be able to swap. However, the I9505 never picked up LTE here in the US (definitely) or Canada (most likely) as the carriers didn't use the I9505's LTE bands of 1, 3, 5, 7, 8, and 20. With 3G shut down in the US and Canada the only way to get a signal is to attempt reprogramming the modem chip to include the LTE bands your carrier uses. Something I was never able to accomplish while I was actively using the unit.
