Anyone happen to have pictures of the inside of the Sprint Mogul???
I believe my Mogul is one of the many suffering from the WiFi breakage inside the unit, I have it opened but I dont want to dig to far if i dont have to.... so anyone got pictures of where the WiFi points are so that I can fix this damn issue....
thanks all...
If you spent a few minutes searching, you'd find that (ppc geeks??) has one taken apart and labled.
1 never been to ppcgeeks, 2 search does NOT work for me in FF3B5 for whatever gay reason, every site just times out...

Hey all First post, w00t.
New to the PDA type phone thing and learning what i can from here. Dont quite understand WM5 yet but i'll get it eventually.
nice fourm you all have here
A few post have hit the nail on the head with issues with the phone.
No hinge LED's when the phone rings is my main hate at the mo i think.
Also anyone know how to get media player to play videos in full screen? all it does is puts a black border round the video rather than streching it. This would be cool
Whats the differance between the o2 (or different) and corporate install type?
Also TomTom M5.2 is coming up all green lines, had a quick search and cant find a fix. Anyone?
Thought i'd drop on and say i've had a problem with my screen (gotta love us being beta testers ehh?) Only got the phone at chrimbo and woke up the other morning to find that the screen wouldnt tap. It seems that the screen is now tapping itself randomly, closing applications and not letting me use the touch screen at all. You cant reallign the screen.
Seems a few people have had this problem and it seems un-fixable, soft, hard resets and reinstalling the ROM doesnt work. pulling the battery out and leaving it for a short while seems to cure the problem for a short while.
If you're having this problem, call the retailer and have it replaced. Defo seems to be a hardware issue, maybe a bad batch?
I'm waiting on them getting a new one in store for me.

The screen issue does seem similar to the problem I was having.
Was on and off, but totally stopped responding early Sunday morning. Didn't start working again after numerous resets. Took it to the O2 shop today and it decided to start working again...
But they believed me, gave me a replacement and I've had zero problems with this one.
Seems like there may be some faulty ones about. Get it changed and hope they don't give you another faulty one
When it's cold it usually works.
but after a while it just works less and less until finally it's not working @ all.
I've returned it twice now. They just send it back after having supposedly replaced the screen. But i have my doubts.
Now I'm going to have to return it for a 3rd time. I have more than one of these phones and I do love them. This one however is just crap.
Apparently vodafone hasn't got a clue. Maybe I can give them some instructions on what to do with the damn thing. What would you tell them in my place?
I've had the thing for a few months now but it hasn't worked properly @ all during this period.
I even created a lovely video to show vodafone my problem

(might not work immediately because I only just uploaded it to the site)
p.s. thanks and keep up all the good work

First welcome to XDA-Dev
You don't know it b ut the problem has been reported here umpteen times. If you use the Search Google Sticky post near the top of the messages postings you will usually find what you are looking for.
There are recent threads on this probably not more than one page back!
Regarding the servicing. Actually I can believe they have replaced the screen. BUT we here probably know more than they on some matters. We know that this problem is not caused by a faulty screen - it is not the more traditional Screen Alignment problem (though it is related to it). We also know that to test this after any servicing is done, you need to leave the device on using power hungry apps to warm the device up.
I always recommend anyone with a warranty to insist on a Replacement and NOT a repair for this problem. There is an interesting recent thread taht suggest slackening casing screws and even internal screws can alleviate the pressure causing the problem. BUT if you have a warranty get another device - new screens are NOT the answer.
Here as a welcome is a saved version of my search. Please use an existing thread if you wish to post on this matter.

Anyone know how? I've read the Wiki and searched online but cannot find a definitive way to take apart the Wizard without breaking it.. I've taken off all 6 screws and cannot find a way to separate the screen from the keyboard..
Basically the reason I am doing this is because the ear piece and the 2 LED's do not work and I want to see why.. I got the Wizard free and put wm6 on it and think its a cool device, worth tinkering with and want to try and fix it.
Nevermind.. I found the service manual..
I let my HD drop a couple of times. This week my g-scope has stopped working across the horizontal axis. It means that photos are taken upsode down and I cannot get web browser or anything to auto rotate. Is there anything I can do ?
I guess not then
Do this at your own risk, but I know that people posted the same problem before on the forum (I'm sure you'll find it if you search) and they gave it a couple hits to get the gyrator unstuck and it worked (there are moving parts in the gyrator which can get stuck during a fall). The only other thing I can think of is send it in to HTC to get it fixed.
even the calibrate doesnt help?

I'm one of those people... Dropped my HD and the g-sensor quit working. Tried hitting it, but that didn't help. Then one night I threw my phone on my bed a bit harder then I wanted to when I was walking in the bedroom... You guessed it, it worked again
If you use the search function you'll find more threads about this... More people got it unstuck again after hitting the HD. Seems to be a weakness of the HD (maybe more phones have it, I don't know).
As Svegetto said, it's all at your own risk. Don't blame me if your HD dies because if hitting it
edit: Just came across this thread while browsing the forum: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=457985
you mean it is a moving part actually? serious?

Yes, 'all' current gyros in phones have a moving part. (they have developed new ones that work on air and hence have no moving parts....aside from air, but they're not implimented yet)
Guys so I got my G2 since last year or less since I bought it he was losing mobile network reception every 30min.. Lose it then it reconnects itself... It started to annoy me too much so I found some solution on internet to put little pieces of cardboard under the connectors which are located on the back cover of the phone. i done that and it worked till now... Problem appeared again but this time Im out of ideas, I changed pieces of cardboard rearranged them but still it loses signal from time to time and its a big problem for me... I really like this device and its community but I think that I will be forced to sell it if i dont solve this.. I was thinking about buying new back cover but I dont think that would help? Anyone experienced this problem, or if anyone has idea how to solve it permanently please tell me.
