If you want a new version of battery status, here to visit that you need, my friend.
http://www.chi-tai.info/cs_BatteryStatus_XDA_Neo_WM5_iM_cs.htm

The Polaris uses the MSM7200 Chipset not the OMAP one. Battery Status only provides overclocking for OMAP based chips.
No one (to my knowledge) has overclocked the MSM Chips yet.
Thanks
Dave

Thx,
the new version got more features, but i can´t overclock an even change the cpu speed . i think i need time and wait. thx for helping me. if anybody got news let me know
thx

Closest I can suggest is my answer here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=370428

none avialable yet, thread about overclock already startes
Thanks, hopefully they release the next version quick in the mean while other programs are also welcome
Hi all,
I have read many old posts and read widely on the google regarding overclocking our beloved polaris.
I have not seen any software out there that has made this possible? (unless i have not read widley enough) unfortunetly i am not a capable programmer (yet) and dont have the abilty to write such a thing.
Does anyone have such a thing? for us who are not willing (mine is stabilty) to flash a cooked rom, overclocking seems the best way to speed up the slightly sluggish wm6.1. i have done all the tweaks and still want more. When i eventually get my HD, then my TC will be experimented on, until then i need a stable platform.
Any advice chaps/chapesses?
I believe it is not possible to overclock the Polaris because it happens to have hardware that has been devoid of any overclocking functionality.
I read about this somewhere else on this forum, just can't find the links at this moment ...
If you have installed nand Android with Windows nbhEditor you can overclock the cpu from 400 to 550 Mhz.Only for android.Dont try it for windows....

i dont understant? facetiosity? what concrete? Are you test or do something with this radio version?
I want to test this version, but i'm afraid of bricking my P3301... I'm from Brazil, and the phone is personalized by TIM.
Do I have to do the CID unlock process? Is there a way of backup my radio version and ROM version to come back to the original?
I tried a search, but the topics wheren't specific about this questions.
Thanks.
checked, and it works well.
some more testing done?
ark666 ?
now that almost one week is gone, i´ve only tested this radio with Wm 6.1, and these are my results compared to previous radio upgrades:
- better network reception
- faster Gps fix
- less battery drain
- wireless an bluetooth connections better..
Cheers.
Just Flashed....
News in a day or two.
Thanks
Flashed yesterday. So far battery drain seems slightly better. Calls appear to be ok aswell. Will report back later if theres any negatives.

in comparison to which other GSM Version?
After a little while i realised that it does seem to be more battery hungry than 3.08.90.
Flashing back to that version now.

IS Leo Really 1 GHz?

I cooked 28011 and i found after boot that the about option clearly shows 1 GHz
I cooked a clean rom, removing the HTC messaging and some common stuff.I thought that LEO has a shell over shell, i mean for every MS settings or Progeam, HTC has a replacement disabling it(MS Part).
So far, it is working fine.If any one need i can upload the ROM, though Leo has excellent ROM chefs.
I used old style kitchen and EXTReloc tool.
i'll be happy to try it out and i really dont think the hd2 is clocked at full 1ghz...
You do know there is a whole thread to this very issue http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=602225
have a read through and see if there is an answer yet. It appears as though the CPU uses scaling so it uses 1GHz when needed not all the time. They are still looking to see whats true and not though
Not again!

did you love or like your hd2?
if yes, put your cooked rom to trash.
nobody likes living on maximimum as it/he/she could can.
an example with a car make it shown what i mean:
bmx, max-speed 223,6 km/h.
how long could you drive with this speed before bmw is broken?
same time like normal driving?
PUT YOUR ROM AWAY IF YOU LIKED YOUR HD2
and please close the thread. too many blablas ....
happy new year

i understand wat u mean
Seriously.. if it didn't automatically scale CPU speed down when not being used, your battery life would be *terrible*. I'm not sure why you'd don't understand this is a good thing?

maybe they all drive round in first gear to keep their cars at max rpm too because evidently dropping below would just be silly!!!

... TRASH
you paid for it you want use for it ....:
did you explain tell me that you writes your sms near the speed of 1GHz?
if you looking photo, are you looking near the speed of 1GHz?
i think my english helps me and other that your anser comes like i doing you boxing or so. i am sorry of you me missunderstanding.
so i will correct my sentence now:
its your hd2 that will be dead nearly in 8 month by using 1 GHz for all applications thats not needed the speed.
i say it to you as a serious man that have this do learning by dead phone and 500€ to trash.
i hope, your phone will live longer ....

Overclock question

Hello, maybe this is a stupid question: P but I wanted to ask, given that the Android project was able to overlock the terminal, how come there is no way to overclock with windows mobile?
There is - there's an app for it somewhere...

Qualcomm devices cannot be clocked well (or at all). There are some achieved results on Touch Pro: http://www.nuerom.com/BlogEngine/post/2009/09/06/Touch-Pro-running-at-800MHZ.aspx but it's not a good idea as the one of overclocking the Intel's XScale chips

Ideas for custom ROM

Hello!
HTC recently released the Lollipop to our model.
I'm going to make a custom rom.
Assumptions:
- Base on CyanogenMod 12.1
- Root
- Stock kernel
- Remove some HTC apps
- Optimize
- New theme, better UI
- [email protected] recording (I dream but try do it)
- CPU and GPU Overclock
- Better memory management
- NFTS partitions support
- Tweaks
- Fast and stable
I realize that some of my assumptions cannot be made but the most we can do.
What do you think?
Write your suggestions what would do well to change.
Tap to unlock would be nice.
I think its nice if you working on a single sim

Good idea
Great idea! I will gladly test it
As for overclocking: do we really need it in this phone? Sometimes it gets really hot with stock frequencies, so why? The performance gain would be negligible anyway... and the battery life will shorten.

Hello i dont think overclocking would be useful, you could make it possible to ajust the cpu frequencies though so that we can undervolt. and alse consider making a version for the dual sim please good luck for your work have a nice day.

That overclocking was possible I need edit the kernel, but it is not yet available source code. As for the dual sim version will be a problem. Maybe someone else will take care of this.
