The msvoicecmd in bepe's rom is only for English user, I prefer to use cyberon voice commander 2.0 for Chinese command support. but the msvoicecmd is prior than cyberon when I press the talk key on the bluetooth headset each time.
Is there a way to remove or disable the msvoicecmd? I mean some registry modify, not modify the rom(it' hard to me), uncheck the "Enabled" option in the msvoice setting no help to call out the cyberon vc.
remove the msvoicecomand from the windows/startmenu/programs folder and it should work...
I did exactly the same to remove the Voice Speed Dial (rom default) and since then my Voice commander started to work...

I have install MS Voice command to my 9100 which is running the latest Cingular Rom from Submitter and I have a question. I realize that I cannot remove the old voice speed dial files since theya re in ROM but I wanted to remove the Reg key that makes the old voice dial settings icon appear in the registry but each time I delete the key in Total commander and then soft reset it's back. It's like it just won't die!!
Any ideas anyone?
Thanks,
Is there a way to disable the voice dial feature?
what do you mean when you say deactivate? uninstall or unmap the key that brings up up voicedial?
for uninstall: the program is embedded into the OS, so its complicated to remove. there is a tutoril on how to do this on this forum. the post is titled 'using ms voice command insted' or something like that.
to remap: settings ==> buttons
OK I tried MS Voice Command, didn't like it & decide to get back to the old good Voice Speed Dial...
Unfortunately when i press a button on my BT headset it only brings up phone application - there's no possibility to use voice dialling
I tired to replace the registry string "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\OEM\VoiceCommand" with a sddaemon.exe and then with sddialer.exe - just for sure, but this solution didn't work
Can anyone check its own Wizard and come up with any solution?
I would appreciate pasting the actual correct registry keys from Voice Command section. Do I nedd to create a key called path or should I just place everything under default value? (I've already tried both....)

soooo is anyone working on this for the hw6900? or are we waiting for the update from microsoft?
I would love lend a hand to anyone willing to try, but unfortuantely my technical know how is not as high as my enthusiasm...
even in the mS Mobile page says, the voice commands does not works with the Ipaq, is an issue with the buetooth stack, I know some people change it and has a different stack, but...after a while they go back, because has more issues than solutions, sorry.
folow next step:
1. copy shortcut voicecmd.exe from \program files\voice command to \windows\start menu\programs.
2. open buttons (start\setings)
3. Assign a program to button 1 (press-n-hold) assign voicecmd (not assign voice command)
This procedure work 100% microsoft voice command 1.6 my 6915

This is how the program is ment to be used, but what we are trying to accomplish is starting the program (or voice prompt) via pressing the button on our bt headset.

Does anyone know the registry hack to allow voice command to be the selection for the programmable shortcut key? One of the options is "Voice Command", but that only brings up the settings for the application. The actual executable is "voicecommand"...no space between the words.
Thanks in advance.

Just open an explorer windows of your phone and browse to \Windows. Find Voice Command and rename it to Voice Command Settings or something. Then you can try just copying voicecommand.lnk to a new file and name it Voice Command.
It is assigned as the long press shortcut by default
