Howto Activate internal Micro after connect Audio to Aux through USB H2Wire - Touch Dual, MDA Touch Plus General

Description:
Trying to use the hands-free option of the phone with the built-in micro in combination with sound/music output over the USB H2Wire Support.
Problem:
After connecting the audio (car radio aux), the internal micro of the phone is disabled and therefore no hands-free operation is possible.
Question:
Does anybody know if there is a possibility to change this behaviour and activate the internal micro? For example in the registry?

i am not sure ... i think, this is not possible!

Converting Headset to USB port

I got the standard headset which comes with the HTC Kaiser. I now want to plug it into my PC and use also the microphone. Since its a mini USB device I would need a converter. I searched google and came over ordinary mini usb to usb converters.
Question: Did anybody do this already and did the microphone work?
Bump! Anyone?
Did you already find an driver for it.
It's a usb-device.
I would say give it a try.
Better buy for the money an microfoon. Hope you've great soundcard, so it will filter the background noise. You shouldn't hear your echo.
the usb port in most htc devices is not normal usb which is just a digital serial interface
but is extUSB which also carry audio IO
no pc have extUSB so it can't get access to the audio part
but a client server software running on both the pc and the pda
would be able to what you want
if anybody made it I can't tell
how about this?

audio out via micro USB?

Situation: 1) Micro USB car charger 2) 3.5 mm audio cable to car stereo (non-Bluetooth stereo)
Goal: Plug only a USB cable and receive charging AND audio from that single plug.
Is it even possible to get audio out via USB on the Treo Pro (similar to the HTC Snap)? I hate plugging in two wires each time I get into my car and pulling two out when I'm done. Idea:
Touch Pro >> Micro USB >> Micro USB Splitter >> 1) Cigarette lighter charger 2) USB to 3.5 mm Jack >> Stereo
Possible?
Well, The usb is Digital, and the audio-out is analog. You'd need an adapter to load files from your device and convert it to something readable to your stereo...
so you're saying that there is no way to get a usb to audio adapter (similar to the HTC Snap witch doesn't have a headphone jack)? does a device w/o a jack have a usb audio card?

HD2 on USB port carkit

Hi,
I have a audio system with integrated carkit (Renault) with Bluetooth support and a USB connector.
The HD2 connects via Bluetooth, but I usually use the USB port so the phone will be charged during driving.
However, when the USB port is used, I can only select 'Fast disk access' because the carkit doesn't run ActiveSync.
At that point, I cannot access the storage card anymore, where all my music is stored, and that's the problem because I would like to use my phone as an MP3 player.
Is there a way to use the USB port and still make the music on the storage card available on my audio system?
Any suggestions appreciated,
M.
HD2 on BMW 3 series USB port
My HD2 is working with BMW 3 series USB port. I can see the SD card and play music, but I cannot connect the HD2 to the bluetooth.
(My HTC Diamond was not working either, but all my old SE phones were fine.)

Connect my SGS to car stereo?

What are my choices for connecting my phone to any given car stereo?
Here's what I'm pretty sure works:
AUX (3,5mm minijack directly to the player, have to switch songs on the phone)
Bluetooth A2DP (uses more battery, can I switch songs on the player? Not sure)
Here's what I'm wondering if works:
Can the phone imitate a USB memory stick in any way? I'm guessing not (without root atleast).
Purchase accessory: FM transmitter (does this exist?)
Any other methods I forgot?
Wondering about this because I want to use my phone (with Spotify) in the car.
check this out it will answer most of your questions

some one already asked that before, but to satisfy your own questions...
1. yes if your Deck supports it
2. best option if your Deck supports it, no problem with power if you have a 2Amp (2000mAh) car charger
i'm using this one
http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.25178
1. yes, if you set your phone as a mass storage device, and if your Deck supports it
2. Yes, but sound quality is bad
3. Yes, it depends on your Deck abilities.
Thanks mate. I will consider that charger.
Edit: If I use USB in mass storage mode, I can obviously only play local files. If I use A2DP, can I use spotify? Not sure how that works.

Car in-dash: USB audio to receiver USB port?

Working on an in-car mount. Has anyone found any way to run the digital audio out from the N7 via USB into a receiver's USB port? The receiver has a DAC built-in, it seems like this would be the ideal audio solution. Straight digital over USB into the receiver. Clean, simple, easy... but I haven't found anyone that has gotten this to work.
It appears to me the only thing you can use the USB port on a receiver for is putting the N7 into USB storage mode which allows the stereo to read any stored music files on your device. But this doesn't allow for Pandora, TuneIn Radio, Netflix, etc. It allows puts music control in the receivers hands, and I want the N7 to be the controller. I really just want the receiver USB port to function as an AUX audio input.
I do have Timur's kernel and CM10.1 ROM running and have successfully gotten my external DAC working with OTG and charging.... so that's the route I plan to go, but I could remove the external DAC and simplify things a little if I could just go all digital over USB directly into the receiver.
Thanks in advance for any thoughts from the crowd!
