Tried all solution, Activesycn and Bluetooth cannot work!

I have read all about the bluetooth i need to know to configure the XDAII to work with the comp. Problems i encounter are
1. THey get paired with the auth keys i put in! but the services that i wanna retrieve from the comp on the XDAII itself cannot be view, all i get from Bluetooth>Bonded Devices>Desktop are 1. rename 2. delete. Is it suppose to be that way?
2.Now the vice versa, when i wanna retrieve the services from the XDAII on my comp it gives me only 1 choice, and that is DUN or Dial-Up Networking? and i on the right track?
3. Downloaded the stupid Bluetooth software for the comp and the software cannot seem to detect my XDAII
4.Downloaded the Pocket Bluetooth tools, thinking that it will solve all problems, i am still stuck there!!
I only in my early twenties but i seem bald enough from the stress i get at work, now with this stupid dongle that i bought from Auction it seems to me that i am already bald! Pls some1 just guide me along this... Another other tools or softwares to get???
1 last thing just to let all out there know... I am running on a XP platform with the latest T-mobile 1.72 rom in my XDAII.
From what i understand the XDAII has only a stripped down bluetooth stack. I would like to use a Crabat bluetooth dongle to receive MP3 over bluetooth but this to will have to wait until someone v.clever does a very serious driver package.
From what i think now is the BT stack in XDA 2 is not compitable with the widcom BT stack in my comp! thats the prob any soultions to it? somehow i manage to get it sync but error to the com port saying other programs are using the comp port. Well i getting balder by the seconds! its already 0500 in Singapore!!!
I give up. First when i use the bluetoothGPS i can get an outgoing port to recongize on XP then when i uninstall that, the outgoing port also just dissappear. Can some1 explain to me what is happening? When i download the pocket BT tools. I only get an incoming port from the XDA2 is it suppose to be that way?? Shouldn't i be having a outgoinport to sync too??
FINALLY
I got it to work finally with another bluetooth dogle i bought. An advice to all ppl trying to do bluetooth out there. Always get the class 1 (100m) bluetooth dogle, always a better range!! XDA2 can go out to 30 m. With the new bluetooth stack + bluetooth tools it is good!!! Finally i got it to work with help from http://forum.xda-developers.com/viewtopic.php?t=5237&highlight=active+sync+bluetooth

Bluetooth with XDAII i

Hi, I've planned to by the new XDAII i (in Belgium the Qtek 2020).
Does anybody can tell me if it is OK with a bluetooth car Kit? With the XDAII normal, I have a lot a Bleutooth problems that I hadn't with the Mini.
Thanks for your answers.
I've had no issues with the BT on XDA2i, other than my old headset wouldn't work with it - something i've now discovered was probably more to do with the headset than the phone.
All other aspects of BT work a dream.
Cheers
Ant
PS - XDA2i uses a Widcomm (now Broadcom) BT stack, not the MS one as used on the 2.
Still can't get my XDaIIi to send files via BT to my laptop! I tried it with my old XDA 2 and it works a treat........
Someone please help, i don't know how many times i've posted this topic

Have spent a long time trying to get my tomtom5 navigator working on my mda and now have it all going lovely - however I cant get my bluetooth reciever to be seen by tomtom. It is one of the BT-77 one that you see loads of on Ebay - did used to have it working with my old phone but not this one?
Any ideas - cant give up now!
Thanks

I have the BT-77 (also from ebay) and it works perfectly with the TomTom 5.21 software...
I had trouble with it initially too- it's to do with setting the right COM ports.
To get things working, I downloaded and installed Pocket Bluetooth Tools:
http://www.bluetooth.jazztel.es/ Download version 1.0.1.2
Delete any existing pair that you may have with the GPS receiver...
Re-pair the device with the above software installed, and now you will get an iconic menu, use the serial port option and select an available COM port. Complete pairing procedure as per on screen instruction.
Now start up TomTom and go to GPS options in preferences- select 'other bluetooth device' and now you should see the something called 'BT on COMx' x being the port you assigned earlier of course. Complete configuration.
Wait for the receiver to get a fix and you should be ready to go.
I've used the Pocket Bluetooth Tools many times on different variants of the Magician and has work everytime.

i cant get my gps working on my O2 mini s. ive got tt5 and it works but no gps via bluetooth.

i just cant get it to pick up the gps!......i have added the bt-gps to the partnership group and added it as com6 (as i did on the other two) but i cant see com6 in the tt configure list. also i am unable to pair the gps as this option isnt available on the mini s.....
any help would be most appreciated.......im going bold
regards
jav
ive tried using the software that reconfigured the coms port in the register but that still hasn’t work.
software i used was GPSCOM, downloaded from here......
any ideas? has anyone got tt5 working on the mini s? am in posting in the right area?
Which version TTN5.0 or TTN5.21?
You will not get BT working with 5.0 without file swapping.
You need 5.21 minimum to configure GPS on a WM5 device. But be aware "older" maps may not run on 5.21.
Run the Update then shut down your device with the main power button. Reboot then configure the BT port in BT Settings.
Start TomTom then configure as "other bluetooth GPS" in GPS Status.
thanks for the reply
ive got v5.0 so will try this update.

Tomtom GO 500 and Universal

Hi,
I am trying to connect my Tomtom GO 500 to the universal through bluetooth (it should be able to get the traffic situation, the weather and it should act as a handsfree), but the tomtom cannot see the universal at all (but it can see my neighbour's phone!), even if it is in discoverable mode.
I read on a blog that the problem is the universal does not identify itself as a phone but as a pc, is there a way to change this?
Any other solution?
Any help will be greatly apreciated!!!
I've also tried this and couldn't get it to work. I think it might be something to do with DUN not being available in current WM builds anymore. Any ideas would be much appreciated.
Cheers
I think I will give a try to the widcom bluetooth stack, it is possible this will solve... MS BT stack has never been very good
What about this one? http://www.jetwaremobile.com/
I got this info from this forum...
I don't think this will help... the problem I am having is not the phone not being able to discover tomtom as an handsfree - with tomtom things are quite different, it is the phone that must be discoverable!
Anyway, I will give it a try... do you know if they have a trial version?
