i was playing with Internet shareing and install a bad ipnat.dll file on the phone well reworte it with another one so cant connect can some PLEASE post one on here i have a sprint mogul

I searched my mogul using total commander and could not find ipnat.dll anywhere. I even checked the extended rom to see if was there. Where is this dll supposed to be located?

Newbie Question. Have downloaded this file in RAR form, extracted it and now dont know what to do with it. It has no .cab extension and i cant seem to install it in WM5.0. Im trying to get my gps to talk to tom tom 5 with no luck.

try extracting it to the windows directory on you device, then soft reset and check for the bluetooth settings applet.

Copy it to your device. Open file explorer on your device and click on the cab file, and the istallation of the content of the cab file will start!
have tried that but when extracted there is no file with a .cab extension. Ive used file explorer and click on one of the 5 files and just get an error message.
Do not extract anything. Just copy the cab file you posted as is on to your device.
This is an installation file and is not meant to be extracted.

Has anyone got MiniStumbler in a .CAB format? I can only find the Windows executable that must be installed via a PC.

thats all I could find too. fortunatley it installed fine on my Polaris/orbit 2/ however the internal network card does not appear to be supported. I was unable to get it to find my wireless card
I realize this is an old topic, but I recently was searching for a solution and came across this thread.
I got errors trying to run the executable, but found a way to extract the CAB files:
1. get 7-Zip
2. open the .exe (desktop installer)
3. browse to the folder "$1/MiniStumbler"
4. you will find several CAB files, just extract the appropriate CAB file and send it to your device.
P.S. MiniStumbler can't see my Verizon HTC Touch Pro2's wireless card...so anyone else with the same phone don't waste your time. WiFiFoFum works on it though.

if it's a rtf file then it's not a program but a text doc
yust copy the file to your PDA.....
I think someone made a mess here. This file only contains a picture (yes picture) of a list of files apparently extracted from a cab .
If you have the original cab file and want to install it, just copy to PPC then click on it in file explorer.
This may not work if the cab was not designed for your OS.

Try using another program like total commander or resco explorer to overwrite.
I was able to successfully do this once using Total Commander and the Move command (Copy would not work). I recently tried again with no luck.

This also works if you rename welcomehead to something else before copying the new one over.

For whatever reason, my device doesn't have the wifiinit.exe file. I've been trying to figure out what is wrong with the wifi on the device for days now.
I've hard reset and flashed the rom a million times, but for some reason, the wifi initiation file is never present.
Could someone please download their wifiinit.exe file and upload it here?

Well, I'm trying to get the wifiinit.ink file to run, but I understand that it's a shortcut file.
So I need whatever exe file that is launched by the wifiinit.ink
No such file on my Polaris either. You running Windows 6 or 6.1?
my X1 also does not seem to have this file. what are you trying to do with this file anyway
if you want to simply start wifi from a shortcut simply install AKTogglewifi and put the shortcut anyware
I used to have a Wizard and still have the kitchen I used for it. In this kitchen in the \OEM\OEMAPPS folder are two files 'wifiinit.exe' and a shortcut to it 'wifiinit.lnk'. These files aren't in my Kaiser so I assume it isn't needed on all devices. I have attached it but I am not sure whether it will work for you or not?
