SMS Problems

I've started to have a lot of SMS problems. Sometimes it works fine. Other times, I somebody can receive mine, but I won't get a reply.Other times, they won't receive a sms, but I'll receive theirs. Finally, it won't work both ways sometimes. Both of our phones both say the message was sent, but I guess the SMS gateway isn't working right?
Is this a network issue, or localized issue?
try a hard rest and check if it still persists.
I would consider this a Network issue but its also possible that it might be a issue in the ROM your using i would prefer you change the ROM and then try.

Cannot send SMS, but can recieve

I am running an alltel 6800 on cricket, and everything is working like I want (data, voice, etc) except that I cannot send SMS...recieving works perfect, but when I go to send I get the message to try again later; and later never comes.
it is almost acting like it is trying to use the old alltel info to send, but I cannot figure out where to configure this (this was what resolved all of my data issues)....thoughts?

outoging calls busy signal

For two or thre days I always get a busy signal whoever i call. I realised it quite late, because I also use different phones, but. People can call me, but i can't call call anyone.
I also can't send any sms messages and it asks if it shall resend them.
Though the phone stills go online and receives Emails and so on....
So:
i can be called
Data conection works
outgoing calls and sms do not work

Can no longer send/receive SMS on T-Mobile

Suddenly I can not send or receive text messages (SMS). I can send/receive MMS just fine. When I try to send an SMS it sits in "Sending" then eventually it times out and asks for me to retry (which also fails).
I checked the SMSC and it matched what T-Mobile said it should be.
I am getting this issue with Hangouts as well as the stock Messaging app.
I can also make/receive calls no problem, nor do I have problems browsing the web on LTE.
Any ideas?

Seems to be a problem with Tmobile LTE. Kicked myself back to HSPA+ and all is well.

Can't receive SMS (not all the time)

Hello,
I have bought a Leeco Coolpad for my mother and everything works fine except one annoying thing. Receiving SMS does not always work while the same sim card in another device works just fine.
It's like the phone is not listening for SMS at some point and you can send as many SMS to the phone as you want, no of them ever reaches the phone while sometimes everything is working fine.
Have you experienced the same issue and if yes, do you know how to solve it? My mother uses SMS a lot so if this doesn't work, I'll have no other option than returning the phone
Thanks
Laurent
Check the APN, make sure it's configured correctly.
Check the phone manage settings. The text are probably setup to block the incoming texts.
Thanks! I sometimes receive SMS which would mean that the configuration is ok otherwise I would never receive any. It's like the default application for SMS is sometimes not listening to incoming SMS anymore. I have tried other SMS applications and it's exactly the same issue, sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't for some reason.
I have the same problem on Lineage (android 9) firmware 30s (the problem also persists on 20s). The problem does not come from my provider and the APN settings are correct. Have you found a solution? I think it comes from the radio settings. Thanks!
