Not sure of the correct registry entries but, you can download easytweak. it allows a few times of running before buying. It has an option to disable types of inputs, maybe by disabling it and reenabling it will bring it back.

I only get the message unable to read the chosen method, when trying to activate Block Recognizer. The .cab file just activates the choice in the drop down menu.
The previous cab works fine only on MDA-Vario from Czech T-Mobile (CSY ROM), because of different name of the dll. I've attached cab that should work for WWE ROMs..

enable letter recognizer

I'm trying to follow the instructions for enabling the letter recognizer on my Swedish Qtek 9100.
I have installed the "enableRecognizersWWE.CAB", but that only enabled the menu choise. I still can't use letter recognition.
How do I change registry settings? I can't find any regedit app?
To what name do I change the settings?
I have two files with name starting with msim:
msimsw.dll and msimsw.96.dll
Will that enable it or only adapt letter recognition for swedish characters?

For registry editing you can use e.g. PHM Regitry Editor.
What you have to change is described above.
Values of the mentioned registry keys shlould be "msimsw.dll"

it is in nk.nbf. And at first you should decrypt NBF to NBA

thanks a lot for the help. At least, after 3 hours of downloading, I've succeded into overwriting the original files with the italian version and everything works fine. I've attached the two files in the italian, english, spanish and portuguese versions. If someone has these files for more languages is welcome to add them, because it's not so easy to find them on the internet.. :lol:

If you hardreset your device the files will default again.
If you overwrite the file and want to restore the default just delete the modified file and soft reset. The original ROM file will be restored.

I don't know if it would be legal or not.. It could because you can download the ROM files from many sites ( Asus site for example ), but I don't know if it's legal to decompress them..
Maybe I,m not getting it!!! I have read and read some more about sim unlocking. As you can tell I am new at this! From the SPV-Developers Wiki I ran their helpful tool HTCUnlock application. On the screen of my 8125 it now shows Device unlocked. Then I read to unlock your sim you have to run Lokiwiz you get an unlock 8 digit code to unlock your sim. Yet when I run Lokiwiz02b I get a DOS screen giving me these options to choose from:
U. unlock
L. lock
C. CID unlock (SUPERCid unlock)
Q. Quit
So is my sim unlocked or not? I am really confused at this point. Taking any suggestions or help!!!

No I have not found a solution as of yet!!! I have read were other people was having this same problem but I never seen were anyone had help them resolve the problem or they post back on what they did to fix the problem.

Thanks for posting back kyphur but I did what you suggest and I still get the same response as in my post August 17th. What else could it be? I think it has something to do with "The system cannot find the path specified."

Ok, I'm going to do an inventory of the files that you should have from the archive. In the folder Lokiwiz03 you should have one file and one folder. The file is LokiwizMsl.bat and the folder should be named Utils. You may have two other files named dec_cid.bin and lock_backup.bin if you have run the program before. In the Utils folder there should be 12 files named: (in alphabetical order) cecopy.exe, Cert_SPCS.cab, cerun.exe, cerunner.dll, EnableRapi.bat, EnableRapi.cab, itsutils.dll, lokiwizMsl.exe, pdocread.exe, pput.exe, prun.exe, and wizardunlock.exe.
If all of those files and folders exist and you still have problems, try unxipping Lokiwiz03a to your root directory maybe his program can't read past a certain number of characters in the path-name. I remember that for 0.2b it was recommended that you unzip to the root directory of C (C:\) before running it. Well, I hope this helps you out some ^_^

I figured out the problem, thanks to another post for another device that worked on my 8125 running ROM 2.25.
Copy the Rapi zip file AND the Cert_SPCS zip file to your device. Run them both on your device, then run the Lokiwiz on the PC.
This worked the first try and produced an unlock code. After running the Lokiwiz, follow all other directions as posted.

Normaly, welcome.exe have a link in startup but is auto-deleted after execution, in my ROM no (and you say that ) but I don't know why...
I'am not sure, but if you think it's an auto-delete, how can you do "align screen" after ? (i've not test it with ur rom )

the conceipt of ref. folder is:
while porting a new xip, a good idea is to open a exist xip to see how it allocated. that's so called "ref. folder".
to open it, please click "SEL Ref Folder" (step 3)
Gr8 tool ... was looking for the english version since i cant figure out ur ver 1.0 ... so let me get it straight ... I have open my 19400 xip that is from another rom as the Work Folder, then I open my Ref folder (ori XIP frm my dev rom) then i can see lots of yellow with red addess so i presume that are all conflicts addresses.
So my question now, if i just change all the conflicts addresses (red) to the exact addresses of the Ref the yellow red will disappear, so is that the right way to do the porting?
What do i do with the dll that dont have a ref? leave it in yellow & red?
How bout the other tabs in the XIP address tool? what are those for?
When I click on Virtual Base tab, I could see lots of red lines under dll (ie: trueffs.dll) what does it mean?

ok 2 questions
1. the filesys.exe wont change is when i click modify and its the only file that wont do it the rest work perfectly
2. if there is a file in the ref folder that is not in the other folder should i just copy it over and if there is a file in the import folder that is not in the ref folder should i just delete it. thanks
