Is there a way for audio to be muted when the connection between my hermes and the headset is lost. It is really annoying when I walk out of range of my cell at work or the battery runs out on my headset to have the music blaring out of my cell phone. Does anyone know if this is possible?

when put tomtom on my phone will it but the voice through to my bluetooth headset or do i have to use the plug in headphones?
If you can play music on your bluetooth, you can have voice on your bluetooth, else use a headphone (plug in).
I use this. that way i can listen through my Plantronics 510 and not wake teh baby while she's sleeping. Of course my wife constantly making fun of me wearing a headset usually wakes her up anyways.
I’m running the official HTC (Dutch) Windows Mobile 6 version on the HTC X7500.
I’m using a Motorola HT820 Stereo Bluetooth headset to listen to music by A2DP.
I’m using a Jabra BT5010 Bluetooth headset for voice calls.
Voicecalls with the BT5010 are no problem at all. Listening to music with the Motorola headset is no problem too, when the Jabra IS NOT connected (turned off) at the same time.
The Motorola stereo headset and the Jabra BT5010 can both be connected at the same time, they are even working (I can call with the Jabra and listen to music with the Motorola) but now and then the stereo music is lagging.
When it starts lagging in stereo audio playback it doesn’t seem to stop anymore. Sometimes the music continues the normal way, and sometimes the lags will come up again a few seconds later.
There are no more lags when I then shut down the Jabra headset.
Is there a way to solve this? It looks like some sort of “Bluetooth bandwith” issue since it only happens when both headsets are connected.
Please note that even though the Motorola HT820 can make voice calls too, I only checked the “Wireless Stereo” service to be used, and “Wireless headset” is only selected for the Jabra.
Adding/editing registry entries like BitPool, UseJointStereo, MaxBitPool, SampleRate and all WILL NOT resolve this problem, I’ve already tried that.
Thanks guys!!
I got the HBH-DS200 headset, for music it works all fine.
But when i use it in a call the sound are really crappy. A lot of noice and very low volume.
I have tried my headset with other phones without this issue. does anyone have a solution to have the same clear sound in a phone call as i have when lissen to music.
i found another annoying bug. When a call are finished it shutdowns the bluetooth connection just for a few seconds so my headset disconnects.
Has anyone a working connection with HBH-DS200 headset?
I suspect it's my Tilt's problem coz A2DP drop happens to my DS220 and car kit JVC BT-1
Whenever i use the MW600 to anwer calls , ppl complain that when they say something they can hear themselves echoing what they said. Anyone with this headset has the same issue or know how to fix it?
Turn the volume down on it then.. Pretty simple fix.
thanx for the suggestion, but turning down volume when using it in car doesn't work, it seems that when you use headset the phones mic doesn't turn off so it picks up the car speakers and that's why people hear themselves echoing
The MW600 isn't made for Car Use... So the issue can be normal!
I've noticed that my MW600 doesn't always sync to Phone and Media audio, sometimes just to Media - which will probably mean that the Mic on the phone is still open, hence the problem you describe.
I've worked out that the way to avoid this is to connect to the phone the following way:
1) Enable Bluetooth on phone
2) Turn on MW600
3) Check in BT setting that both Phone and Media audio are connected and that the headphone symbol is displayed.
I find that if I turn on the MW then activate BT on the phone, they just don't connect properly...
I use mine in the car on a regular basis and find it superb, and have had no complaints
thanx for this tip I'm going to try it, I hope it fixes the echoing
Using Cyanogen RC2 (good work Jacob)
Using a fairly cheap bluetooth stereo headset to listen to music via bluetooth and whichever music app is bundled with Cyanogen (AOSP?)

Whenever i have no signal (very often in my office) there is a consistent beeping every 5 seconds in my headphones to notify me. Has anyone experienced this?
Is it a phone feature? Bluetooth headset feature? Can i turn it off? I don't want to go into airport mode or turn mobile network off because my signal comes and goes and i need it on in case my preggo wife calls.
Is there anyway anyone knows to stop beeping notifications when you lose signal and you are connected to a bluetooth headset. Thanks guys. Expecting 0 replies cos i doubt it is a common problem but thanks in advance anyway lol.
