My wizard died

Hello!
I have strange problem with my Wizard. 4 month ago i was trying to install Pathfinder 1.2, but when I installing this ROM using ShellTool my PDA bricked. Now all the time it's frozen on Splashscreen with IPL/SPL GSM and OS information. All HR completed without any errors and all ROM's upgrading finish correctly.
Once time, after 2 months for breaking, my Wizard just started and working very well, I do 2 HR and few SR and my Wizard still working good, but when I shut it down and pull out battery my Wizard again frozen and until now can't wake up. I have CID Unlocked by imei-check. I tried to install many different ROM's, e.g. Wizard Love, Dopod (CHS), T-Mobile, Orange (PL) but nothing work. I also tried way with SD Card but my ROM's doesn't work, I think I need some working dumped ROM. I was searching help on few forum but poeple on polish forums don't know how to help me. May someone here have idea where can i find working dumped ROM or have any other idea how can i fix my Wizard?

which is your device,post full data of your phone,IPL/SPL...? Make...?
As you say you installed through Shelltool,is it a G4 DOC chip version ?
You say it's stuck at the splash screen with ipl/spl and gsm version,which splash screen,is it OS (Rom) initial splash screen or a Bootloaders (Multicolored) screen ?
Secondly ,try to get it into bootloaders (multicolor) screen,if it gets into bootloaders,connect it to PC via usb cable,check small usb appears at the bottom of the bootloader mode in the phone,if it does,than flash a carrier's official Rom to recover back to it's default status.

Try the Button's ROM (which is in Wizard Upgrading subforum). Then unlock it again (It may be causd by a fake CID unlock when you try to unlock when IPL/SPL is 2.xx)

You can download this rom CUSTOM__RUU_Wizard_1050412_WWE_101_11210_WWE.exe on XDA,it contains IPL/SPL 1.01,and upgrad this rom,then you'll find your IPL downgrad to 1.01,and SPL still is 2.24,and then,use aWizard tu unlock your CID,after this,your CID should be unlocked,you can use RUU upgrad any rom you want.
I just do this yesterday,my CID isunlocked now.And RUU now works on my device.

Hello! I have CID unlocked. When I install Button ROM my IPL and SPL is the same (1.01). Every RUU works but It still frozen. 2 Days ago i found on other forum this advice:
INSTRUCTION :
1. miniSD - formated in PC - FAT format (now FAT32 !)
2. Wizard On and Bootloader (press reset and keep photo button let go reset) 3 color display. Put in card to Wizard.
3. Connect USB - PCC to PC
4. Launch MTTY 1.42 (my ver.) with USB connection
5. Write command - r2sd os end press enter
6. Program it will record OS on miniSD
7. After recording make Hard Reset or turn on Bootloader
8. On Display should be written - Format partition ?? (5 sec.) - to confirm press Voice dial button. If inscription it will disappear repeat point 7.
9. If Format partition successful wait OS is write. Done.
10. Draw out miniSD
11. Make Hard Reset
12. Enter in bootloader
13. FOR NON CID WIZARD - Flashing Wizard RUU (must be proper version) - ERROR 300 is bad RUU ERROR 266 turn off Wizard and turn on connect to PC
14. With CID (for example CID G4) seek forum for flashing Wizard with CID G4

I was carry out all command step by step, and after flashing proper version Orange ROM my Wizard woken up, but today my Wizard get stuck again and now this way don't work, and I have to find a new method to rescue my PDA.

My Wizard woke up! I find ERA PL ROM (RUU_Prodigy_3829_382130_027111_TMO_PL_PLK_Ship) which flash excellent and working, but now I have a new problem. I can install other ROM after that but none of them work, every stucked at Splashscreen like before.I need to find some WM6 ROM which will working? Someone have some suggestion?

SD flashing problem (bricked hardSPL, trying to unbrick it...)

ive a hardSPL bricked Herald device. Well, im trying all possible ways to recover and get it unbricked, also to find out a solution for everyone that haves a Herald bricked.
I was trying by flashing via SD method. It starts fine, but:
a) If I try a original ROM (ruu_signed.nbh), it says Checking Certificate and just jumps to Bootloader screen
b) If I try canonyang.nbh, it says Invalid Certificate, so I can think the hardSPL procedure was never complete... so I think recovery of those products can be done by flashing a patched bootloader or patched firmware (so our Herald bricked products arent "bricked" at all... just no CID unlocked)
c) Flashing by USB cable always says error 300
d) trying by mtty can be realiable, just dont know where to flash (using wdata command)
Hey everyone, help with suggestions and everything! lets unbrick our Herald devices!!
update 1: looked around in XDA Wiki pages, Ive found some useful info:
the ipl can be read with pmemdump from 0x82000000

don't have an working pda and my pda is not detected by active sync. Does are musts for the method in that post

First thing you should do is download the "Official Herald RUU"
Then put your phone in the bootloader screen (hold the camera button down and soft reset with the stylus)
Run the flash center with your official ruu (Active Sync won't see your phone but it doesn't matter)
Should unbrick your Herald. Maybe I'm wrong? I don't have a IPL thats 1.xx....

tried that i have ipl 1.08. I tried with official heral rom but checks the sd card for 5 seconds then goes to the rgb screen

8525 suddenly NO GSM

I have Cingular 8525, today suddenly when soft reset, show NO GSM. try to fix it by following the guide from wiki, after erase with mtty and flash with CID and Sim unlocking tool, 8525 now stuck in bootloader screen with 1.04 SPL olipro.
Anyone have any idea ? Please, appreciate any replies.

[Q]Dutch Elfin (ELF030050) got bricked although CID Unlock was performed

I do not know why my first post got moved, maybe because I did not use a [q] in front of my question? I did use the search function but couldn't find a proper answer to my problem...
Yesterday I have flashed my Dutch Elfin. It was originally working on a Dutch T-Mobile branded ROM which I have successfully flashed to a German modified ROM.I performed the CID unlock as described in several tutorials before flashing the rom and everything went as it should.
However I tried flashing another English ROM which bricked my phone (dunno why). I am now in the red-gree-blue Screen with showing my IPL: 2.81.0002
and my SPL: 2.26.0000
Here are the device details before I bricked the phone:

CID : T-MOB003

You searched? There is a link to the troubleshooting thread, located in the Sticky at the top.. entitled "Avoid Confusion". Flash a Hard SPL from the bootloader and update your IPL.

UPDATE: I went through the whole tutoria. I do know my Device ID (ELF030050) and CID (T-MOB003) now and I have found the correct Rom:

IPL/SPL: 2.26
I have downloaded that rom and tried to flash it onto the device. Now I get an error ERROR 294 (Invalid Vendor ID). The Wiki tells me that I have probably flashed an old USPL onto my device, somehow causing the device to be "half" CID-locked. Flash a newer IPL and Hard SPL onto your device is the advice that is given. My question is HOW? can I flash a newer ILS and Hard SPL onto my device, how does that work?

Okay, I followed this manual. The update process came to 100% but in the end I got a Error [270]: UPDATE ERROR. I know that the tutorial says that I have to establish an Active Sync connection. My Active Sync tray icon is gray so I assume that there is no connection established. Is there a way to get the connection established even from the rgb bootloader screen?

How should I continue because the Hard SPL update process of came to 100% but in the end I got a Error [270]: UPDATE ERROR. What should I do next?

Yes, for my first ROM update that went through successfully:
- I did install EnableRapi.Cab & Cert_SPC.Cab.
- no MicroSD Card was inserted
- Active Sync connection was established when I flashed
- then I ran flashed a German Modded ROM
The phone was working fine but I didn't like the Rom. So I flashed an English ROM that didn't go through and bricked my phone...

So try to cid unlock using this uspl http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=2416770&postcount=5 and don't forget sometimes it takes 2 or 3 shots

I can encourage his reply, you need to try several times before it will take effect. Also if you are able to use multiple computers, try some different computers as that also helped for me to unbrick my phone.

I have actually done this once already (will try tonight again with different computers) and it didn't go through.
The update process came to 100% but in the end I got a Error [270]: UPDATE ERROR. As I said above already I know that I have to establish an Active Sync connection. However, my Active Sync tray icon is gray so I assume that there is no connection established. Is this important for my bricked device?
Also, does it matter which version I use? IPL_USPL_3.07.zip, IPL_3.10.zip or ELFIN_USPL_310.zip?

Offtopic: are you dutch ?

Is the update process showing on your computer or on your elfin ? if it's the latter it shows there's some kind of connection even if the icon is grey. 2nd question: on the bootloader do you see "usb" when you are connected ?

The update process is showing on my computer (going to 102%) as well as on my device (going to 100%).
I also see "USB" in my device when it is connected and the usual windows ding-dong.
How do you flash when you only have a single IPL310.nbh or ELFIN_USPL_310.nbh file? (And which one is the right one?)
So far I just copied the file into an old folder that I still have with the ROMUpdateUtility.exe. Then I start ROMUpdateUtility.exe and the update process starts. However I always receive an Error [270]: UPDATE ERROR...

Try a new RUU, flash the uspl and after that the ipl (I have read ipl is less important or not at all ) and make sure in the ruu folder to have only one nbh file : yours

Okay, I have used an RUU from the [ROLLUP]AVOID cOnFuSiOn... Thread. I tried to flash ELFIN_USPL_310.nbh. The process starts an my PC Screen as well as on the phone. it goes to 100% on both devices but then I get an Error [270]: UPDATE ERROR. I have tried this now 5 times in a row but every time I get the same Error.
Then I also tried the IPL310.nbh with the same result (Error 270)... What am I doing wrong
My rgb bootloader screen still says IPL 2.81.0002 and SPL 2.26.0000
