Did you install on main memory? And is your device english OS? Maybe you should install the "Enable Rapi" cab before instaling. Will try and let you know soon.

Having the same problem here, it ain't working.
Also when using the Kaiser.HTC.Home.v2.0.814.722-schen (6-tab htc home) it seems it's sharing the favorite contacts with the cube contacts. When I used this on my Touch (Elf) this was not the case.
Guess something has changed hehe

Testing some more option, and i have discovered, the HHC HOME CUSTOMIZER require software installed on memory, not on rom.
I have installed the 2.0 version of the Home plugin, italian language, and for second the HHC 1.05 BETA, and working, necessary revision of path.....bye

Works for me too
Just follow the order the cabs are arranged in the unzipped folder. Do the soft reset after installing , and then continue with the HHCv10b5 cab My only problem with this is that my Device information details are all erased except ROM version
i have problems with the screen after install the newer version,sometimes the screen stop respond and the ppc hungs.

I am not sure if I am referring to the same issue your talking about in this thread yet my annoyance with HTC and this device is that when the rom loads there is a cab file that should be under the today settings theme called htc HTC_Blue_Today them I believe and yet mysteriously it is not where it should be. This excited me for Blue is my favorite color and I hate the Black HTC Home Theme. However, and this is the frustrating part it is not where you would think it to be, ie.e under themes in the today settings, yet under actual programs if you were to go to the remove programs setting. Not only that if you go into programs on the device it does not even show up. My question is 2 fold: Has anyone else even noticed this exists as an alternative theme and more to the point how do I get this to be my theme? I have tried everything yet nothing seems to work.

If this is from an O2 rom than not from the german one or at least from a Toch HD rom. I have a german O2 XDA Diamond and in the official rom there is no call log tab.

Thanks. This solved my problem on call history.
The comm tab also works on 2.00.421.1 but because comm tab and tab setting in Settings shared the same 1f3be060_manila file therefore I could get either comm tab or tab setting function working. I do not know how to edit the 1f3be060_manila file. Does anyone know how to do this. having both enable would be a cool thing to do.

Yer, tested and worked on Dutty v4 based on 2.03
the cab works just perfext with the 2.03 aztor x, so thx alot

I'm not sure if somebody has already put this cab somewhere on XDA, but in case no one has, here's an app that allows you to install all cabs in your TP2 quickly & silently. I found it somewhere on the Internet. Now you don't have to install every single cab and go through the installation process over and over again.
This app:
- is useful for those who are fond of hard-resetting their tp2 or flashing new roms..
- Works great on TP2.. (at least it does on mine)
Just install the cab on your tp2 & run the program. You'll figure out how everything works from there. The app is in French, but the ZIP file below includes the setup for English. Install the setup if you want the app in English.

You now it is a very old idea? On most roms you can find UC (for user customization) that do the same. Search the forum for this one.

After you installed the English setup, the app would still be in French. Ignore this first and go the last tab on the app. You'll see a box that says 'French'. Click that box and an option box will appear. You'll see 'English' there. Click 'English' and the app will show up in English straight away..

Boy I'll second the vote for Sashimi. I have mail, wifi, and most all my apps auto setup after a ROM flash. Works great once you spend the time to set it up. Only problems are some ROM's need different apps (is Opera already at 9.7, does it include an auto-lock, task switcher, etc) but it's a very cool program:

I have then to start the Suite again to enable closing program when tapping X, which works, but i cannot start Showcase. I have currently a 23071 ROM on my device. I tried to reinstall the version 1.1 Suite cab again but it is the same.

Would you mind sharing the exact version of Showcase you're using? And the exact registry string i would have to edit/create? My version doesn't work... (got showcase cooked in to the Energy-ROM 23071 i'm using)

I'm not familiar with x-task. Is it a task manager? Have you tried the Touch X version that installs the default HTC task manager? I do know that that works on 1.66. (You can get it from the cabs link in my sig).

That's definitely the same one. This is one of the cabs that makes me feel like I'm going a little mad. Install it again and try restarting a couple of times. Once doesn't seem to do it for me.

Screw it.... try the longpress send key Resco taskmanager, or use any other taskmanager with longpress from my sticky post..

It work cooked in with no problem. I just want to install this new version which seems to really work good on our Leo by cab. If it works then I will try to remove the Tutorial WMV file included which is 9mb.
This cab is from the Blackbird : "http://rapidshare.com/files/349533472/Swype-HTCBlackBird-3.9.10.10.5032.zip" i'ts almost the same as yours.

Ok it looks like the main difference is the use of the setup.dll and the path of the swype.dll is windows. I'm going to give it a try and if all is working I will post my cab here.

Just would not open when you select it from the menu. It looks from this other cab the dll is placed in windows. I'm going to try this.
Ok I have got it working now. The dll file has to be in Windows directory to work. I'm uploading my complete Full version extracted from the 2.07 ROM now and will post it on the first post. I will also make a version without all the the tutorials to save space and upload it too. But the tutorials are good in the beginning to learn how to swype.
hm there is no other language available if you look into the options
there is also a message that it is not made working on my device (hd2) and will only works with limited functionality (that means it is not possible) to write words

I think it is this way when built in the ROM. I read somewhere that swype was going to add some support for other languages so it might not be implemented yet.
EDIT: The languages are working. just go into the input options for swype or press and hold the top left button to bring up a language menu. The actual keyboard layout doesn't change but the recognition does. Try it.

the same here... and furthermore we need the international version (multilanguage support)
i tried your cab. i'm not able to write anything and cant switch language
I think this is normal, bcz the swype function was not working in the 2.07 stock rom too
