[THE] Full Black Phone Dialer S2A for stock ROM's 2.03

This cab install is ONLY for stock ROM's 2.03
It replaces stock .bmp's and .png's ROM files, but you don't need to backup any files if you want get back original white phone dialer.
USAGE :
0. I recomend backup only the registry entrie with, p.ex, Resco Registry : HKLM\SOFTWARE\HTC\PHONE
1. install cab : It includes black phone dialer + black call log
2. soft-reset
To get back stock white dialer, just uninstall the cab.
This install is multilang so you don't need change any .mui files
(===>> tested full funcional on stock ROM Diamond_HTC_PTG_2.03.410.1 <<===)

why does this only work for stock roms 2.3...what would happen if you install it on other roms or cooked roms?

I've tried but not working on 2.03.401.2 WWE. I'm using xboxmod's Manilla HD. Could this be a reason?

Its working nice on my cooked rom XBMOD_V2 2.03.401.2 WWE.

haha i found out the hard way that my rom is 1.73 (i think)
either way it's set the text colour to white
could anybody advise me to a fix?

Have a look at the settings menu, than go to system and finally Device information...

This is really nice, thank you. However, I think this has caused some of my TF3d menus to become illegible (the ones on white backgrounds, I mean, for example, the sound menu under settings). I think it might be because I'm using 1.93 rom and not the 2.03 rom. Is there a way I can rectify this? Thank you.

Is not the ROM problem is cause by the background defination file on TF3D system, I need to set it to White Fonts for ALL in order to get the comm manager tab showing white fonts, hope this to clear your doupts, sorry for my bad english...

Have the Latest Rom but the calendar tab have bugs.....comm and callhistory are working !

is the language file missing, please search the language file from the forum for your country.

Is there any chance you can update Shaks.P Device Lock cab to install on newer roms? I cannot install it on any of the newer uDK or Cloudy Diamond GSM Roms.

Hi and thanks for these cabs. Is there a way that I can simply add the Calendar tab without Call History (which is already on the home page) and without Comms Manager. I have deselected both in Advanced Config but by doing so it also removes Calendar tab. After reopening Advanced Config, Calendar and Comms tabs have disappeared !
BTW - Shaks v4.0 on Ignito.

It work cooked in with no problem. I just want to install this new version which seems to really work good on our Leo by cab. If it works then I will try to remove the Tutorial WMV file included which is 9mb.

This cab is from the Blackbird : "http://rapidshare.com/files/349533472/Swype-HTCBlackBird-3.9.10.10.5032.zip" i'ts almost the same as yours.

Thanks I will have a look at it.
Ok it looks like the main difference is the use of the setup.dll and the path of the swype.dll is windows. I'm going to give it a try and if all is working I will post my cab here.

Just would not open when you select it from the menu. It looks from this other cab the dll is placed in windows. I'm going to try this.

Ok I have got it working now. The dll file has to be in Windows directory to work. I'm uploading my complete Full version extracted from the 2.07 ROM now and will post it on the first post. I will also make a version without all the the tutorials to save space and upload it too. But the tutorials are good in the beginning to learn how to swype.

hm there is no other language available if you look into the options
there is also a message that it is not made working on my device (hd2) and will only works with limited functionality (that means it is not possible) to write words

I think it is this way when built in the ROM. I read somewhere that swype was going to add some support for other languages so it might not be implemented yet.
EDIT: The languages are working. just go into the input options for swype or press and hold the top left button to bring up a language menu. The actual keyboard layout doesn't change but the recognition does. Try it.

but there are already ROMs from Duty and others which have other languages and dictionaries available...
if I'm downloading this ROM you'll be able to extract it from there?

the same here... and furthermore we need the international version (multilanguage support)

i tried your cab. i'm not able to write anything and cant switch language

I think this is normal, bcz the swype function was not working in the 2.07 stock rom too

[PROBLEM] Rhodium Dialer Tap & Hold, Display Stays On In Call

hello fellow chefs
i am trying to make a rhodium rom and downloaded a kitchen there
i replaced all sys/xip packages to the ones i want and replaced all ext packages to the ones i use
the rom is working for 99% but i have two problems
i have the tap and hold bug in the dialer(tried different phone canvas and enhancement packages) and i have it in file explorer
i have a tweak that is supposed to fix it dunno if its the right one though

"MinimumTapTime"=dword:00000000
when i check the reg of the rom the valeu is set so it is processed
does some one have a idea what it could be?
edit: just found out the screen stays on when i get answer a call
some one know the regtweak to make the screen go off when you start a phone call

Did you try other oem packages already? Maybe it's in the touch.dll not functioning correctly.
What issue do you have in file explorer?

the problem is when i am in file explorer i have to tap and hold to select something
i also have this problem in dialer
i will try different touch.dll files and hope this will help

Can someone tell me howto resolve the blank space as in attached image?
As you can see this happens in a Dutch ROM, issue doesn't appear in WWE version of the same ROM

It's also blank in mine
2 ways to fix it:
- Use the latest "SettingImprovement.exe.0409.mui" and rename to 0413 <-- my advise
or
- Use the "Settings_Improvement_1_0_19211330_06" from the stock 1.66 NLD rom
It's probably due to the fact that you're using a 0413.mui that doesn't fit the newer package
(Just like QuickGPS, Voice Recorder and some others ...)

My guess would be there's a manila file that's missing a translation or something since documents tab isn't officially released in Dutch.
Will try your suggestion in a bit.
What other packages suffor the same issues with 0413 problems?
I know about g-sensor calibrator, QuickGPS and Voice recorder and you know about more?

Exaclty, but what file Just like the text below the docs icon while scrolling tabs ...
As to other 0413 issues, G-sensor completes the list afaik the other langs is another story ...

Can't wait to hear if it works since this is the only "issue" i've found in my latest rom
The other options you've mentioned also work but that leaves us without the shortcut for Documents tab settings.

I've edited the 26948339_manila file in Manila Core folder which was the easiest way to solve it for me since i only cook in Dutch.
