i want to upgrade it from 2005 to 2006.
Is there any update if yes pleae give me the link to up date.

After Upgrading Imate Jamin from 2005 to 2006, it just does not book. It comes on blue screen "I-mate" and stays there about 8-10 hours but does not boot.
Please help me. please please help me.
Try a hard reset, Hold the camera and comm manager buttons, and do a soft reset.

One question, what could happened whith my mobile after a hard reset and it still didn't boot?
I have a O2 XDA Neo and I tried to upgrade my WM5 to WM6, but unfortunatly it didn't pass.
Now my O2 didn't boot.
Did you have any suggestion about this problem??
I will be so glad if someone could help me.

Can it enter bootloader (hold the camera button and soft reset)? if so, there is something in the wiki about recovering a failed upgrade.

What have you done , You upgraded ur Qtek 1010 with the newest Qtek2020 Roms!!!!!!! I can't help here You should talk to Cgigate he'd be the answer for your prayers.
Hi All,
I have had my MDA compact since April and all of a sudden over the last week or so it has started freezing up ???
Nothing i seem to do can wake it up and I am not getting any backlight. At present the time on the device is frozen at 21.25 the last time i had it working ??
The only remedy i have is to perform a soft reset which brings it back to life but only for a short while then it freezes again.
I have also tried performing a hard reset but the problem wont go away.
I only have the basic installation with not one single add on.
My device info is as follows
ROM Version - 1.01.00 WWE
ROM Date - 10/21/04
Radio Version - 1.00.10
Protocol Version - 1337.36
So if anyone can help me please post a suggestion. A mate has suggested a ROM upgrade but i cannot find one for the T-Mobile MDA Compact/

I also had this problem before and ROM upgrade help to me.
For upgrade Ur T_Mobile MDA Compact U can use any Qtek or I-mate ROMs for Magicians.
I use WWE_11200_550_11200.zip and haven't any problems now
In this topic: http://forum.xda-developers.com/viewtopic.php?p=166195 it is said the problem is hardware and a ROM update is useless.

The O2 connect in www.mulyadi.net cannot be use in my device. It's show the program must use in O2 device but my one is O2 Xphone IIm.

1. Your device is O2 Xphone IIm, but the Rom on your device is not the Rom of O2 Xphone IIm.
2. If you are using the Rom of O2 Xphone IIm, let you reset hardware then install O2menu. How to reset hardware?
2.1. Turn off the phone.
2.2. Push and hold tow button: Menu and contact.
2.3. Push power button in 1 second and wait. then press 0.

I had spent lot of time searching for WM6 ROM for my imate ,while doing that I came across Qtek ROM namedas WM6 . After installing i came to know that it was a WM5 rom named as WM6. But i didnt gave up and after searching XDA i got actual WM6 rom and I uploaded it. The Version details of WM6 are :
ROM version 4.0.0.0 WWE
ROM Date 2/15/07
Radio Cersion 02.47.21
Protocol Version 4.1.13.24
Ext ROM version 4.0.0.0.3 PDAViet
But now i want to downgrade back to Imate WM5 original ROM. Kindly help me getting that done.

i have a JaMin 2 and i wasn't able to downgrade to the original I-mate Rom but u can downgrade to the NoID WM5 which is better than I-mate Rom

Thanks for such a quick reply. Also i would like to know what are the steps to be folowed whiles downgrading. I mean do i run NoID ROM first and then execute Enterbootloader.exe and then Romupdate utility for my G4. Kindly excuse if u find my questions silly, since i have not much knowledge into all this and i am only being concerned about my Imate.

I have the same problem...I cannot hear anything or any body can not hear me...But the thing is that the speaker does play the ringtone when sombody is calling me so the speaker is ok...PLz help..

i also face the same problem, my rom is WM6 fantastic b4, but after few times hard reset and soft reset and leave it for overnight all back to normal again... sometimes still cannot hear the caller voice.. i just soft reset again..... still no permanent solution yet...
one of the senior member suggested to re flash the ROM... but i'm still not sure how to do it

It should be on the FTP... Be careful though - i damaged my magician with that rom, though i was flashing off of Vista and that was over a year ago... Also, apparently, 1.12 is only for SOME magicians, cant remember which, but don't quote me on that
why not go for 1.13?

i hve got an imate jam. i was trying to upgrade my ppc rom and download the latest one rom update from the clubimate.com. i have windows vista and when i was updating it so in the middle it gave me that a connection error. although the mobile was correctly connected to the pc via usb. when i saw the screen of my mobile so there was USB written and nothing else. so now when ever i restart my ppc by removing its back so it resets and i cant do any thing to bring it to its original position.
i dont want any upgrade but i want my ppc back. as normal.
can any one pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeee help me

Not to worry. I have not personally tested with Windows Vista so, if you can use Windows XP, it would be great.
There is a special button sequence to bring the I-Mate to a Factory install mode. Then you will be able to flash the ROM again.
