Hi all,
which API function is used by pressing the "Ring off"-Button? How can I "press" this button virtual in my program?
I just want to disconnect/intercept a call in my program.

Hello!
Is it possible to configure the hardwarebuttons in the Dialer Program?
In previous devices (e.g. S100) it was possible to start "Speed dial" or "call log" by pressing "left" or "right" on the "navipad". This makes using the device with one hand very comfortably.
On the s200 it´s not possible any more. Perhaps it´s a WM5 "bug".
Is it possible to change this by a registry hack?
Instead it would be also usefull to configure the left or right soft key in the Dialer program. Standard is Contacts and Menu.
Thanx for help,
Paul
Smartskey
Search the forum
Hi everybody, I'm searching for an alternative of SmartsKey for 2003SE.
Don't you know about any available program?
I'm looking specifically for changing the funcion of volume button as follows:
Volume Up = Jog up
Volume down = Jog pressed (OK, confirmation).
I have a countdown timer application, currently operated with a jog, but need to be operated (ideally with the volum ebutton as it's on the side of the PDA).
Thanks a lot for all your help.
Is there a way I can enable "Long-Press" of the action button to bring up the context menu for a highlighted contact in the dialer (smart dial enabled).
By default I can use the stylus to long press a contact in the dialer to bring up the context menu but I want to use the action button for true one handed operation. In the present state pressing the action button after highlighting a contact starts dialing the number.
Maybe something to be incorporated in the registry?? I am on the factory WM5 ROM for my Imate Jasjam
Thanks
I think you could use VJKeyPress to emulate a context menu click, but you would have to assign it to another hardware key, and that would barely be worth the effort and would not be very neat or integrated. I don't think you can easily change the default behaviour of the HTC dialler plugin - I think you'd have to hack into the app itself, which would not be pretty.
But I may be wrong.

Thanks Vijay555. I too thought it wouldn.'t be easy.
Any idea if the dialer application on WM6 has a similar behaviour.

Hi
is there any chance to extend the button "Ringer" in the CommManager (HTC WM6) as toggle Ring->Vibrate->Mute->Ring or to define a new button just with "Mute"?
I tried to exchange the key "Vibrate" in the registry with "Mute", "RingOff", "Silent" etc. but all these keys are obviously wrong. There should be a function "Mute" included because the button symbol changes to a loudspeaker and a "x" beside when you switch off the tone manually.
May anybody give me the right key or any other solution?
Hi guys.
When e.g. pressing call button Phone shows up with keypad shown by default. There is a "Hide keypad" function assigned to left softkey (on iPaq 614c).
Does anybody remember the registry hack to make the keypad hidden by default.
I am 100% sure it is possible, as I did it once, but I did not write down how
Thanks in advance.
