I dont know what had happened to my 818pro ... but I have to re-align my screen everyday ... the worst happened .. I have to unplug the battery first ..put it back.. turn the device ON .. and then do the re-alignment ..
is it hardware problem .. or the operating system problem? thanks.

hi asrulz. You from malaysia too? too sad i think u r having hardware problem. i gone through some other malaysia pda forum and u r facing the same problem as others. You will need to bring back to service center to fix the problem.
yeah .. i think its a hardware problem too since i've hard reset the device the problem still occured .. will bring to SIS for warranty .. BTW ..whats the main caused of this problem?
is the lcd problem, i had the same problem and got it replaced but waited for more than a month for the parts !! maybe there is a batch having this problem, not only in MY but in SG too..
do demand for a lcd replacement , they might just tell u flashing the rom will solve the problem, but i can tell u that it will not , is just their excuse. dun waste the time going up and dwn to SIS.

02 XDA Atom Intermittent Shutdown

Hi !!
I hv this 02 XDA Atom for the last 3months & honestly am not quite happy with my fone.
For the last 3-4 days, i've been having this strange problem of my fone switching off automatically, even when it has over half of the battery charge left.
Has any1 faced this kind of problem ever ?
Please let me know if any1 has ever faced this problem or if some1 has a resolution for this Problem.
Warm Regards,
Bhaskar

I would assume your backup battery has become dislodged/fallen out. If you slighty shake (not hard) your phone can you hear any rattling?
Look at this link to see where the backup battery usually sits:
http://wiki.xda-developers.com/index.php?pagename=HimalayaHardwareOverview
It is like a BIOS battery on a motherboard and can become detached.
If you want to fix it, you may find some info by downloading the service manual for the Himalaya here:

Hope this helps.

charging problem with OMNIA PRO :(

hey guys .. this weird problem has developed with my b7610 pro, when i connect my phone to wall charger within 1-2 mins it would show 100% battery and when i remove the charger from the phone , it would come to the normal levels say 15% . phone wont charge even when its turned off .Phone would charge normally through usb ( i think so , though i m not sure). I am really annoyed with this problem . i have done a hard reset but it hadnt solved my problem . I m using daskalos GA rom V3 since last 2-3 months and I never had any problems with phone .. just recently it had cropped up ( since last week) ..
