You need GPS2.09, and it's available from the support site (!)
Are you saying that the bluetooth problem with gps is solved by the tomtom update and that I will have no need of Towas bluetooth patch.

hi guys/galls
whats the best GSP reciever, for Tomtom Nav2 with the XDA2 ?
I was using the Hiacom HI-203e (cabled) but since the cables is now busted its not worth replacing it. I'd rather have a BT GPS, so whats your suggestions, pros and cons etc etc...
i'd be glad to hear, as I don't want to waste any money..
Cheers,

Just wish the update was stable. I lose all my Checkboxes and Buttons when I open it.
Have you updated the application ?
I had this problem until I installed the update to 2.24
Goto www.tomtom.com /support for the update

I have tried it on a Wizard with a Holux GPSlim 236 (BlueTooth) GPS, and it works great!
I ve also tried it with the same Receiver on my Magician. Works great! With this tool you can share any serial connection, for a headset i think, you dont need to use this program

It should work "out of the box". Turn on BT, pair the devices, et voila.
If you want to have the GPS DO something, well that is a whole different subject and there are lots of posts.

Yes it will work with Tom Tom just fine. Also, there is some discussion here about programs http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=284501 and here about some mapping applications http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=286604.
Search is your friend.

Need. More. Information... What you told us was the equivalent of "I have gas in my BMW but I can't turn it on"--nice to know, but not real useful.
What ROM are you running? Does your BT work otherwise? What version of TOMTOM? What other apps? etc. etc.

I bought the P3600i as an upgrade to my P3600 and was told that TomTom was included, however it is not!
When I bought my P3600, it came with the TomTom software. What gives?
How do I go about acquiring it?
