It's been discussed very extensively here (be sure to search before posting). There are no known ways or apps that can accomplish overclocking the Tytn/Hermes.

Supposely the new Pocket Hack Master versions allow overclocking of the samsung CPU.
Check this thread out... http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=276317&highlight=overclockOOP

hmmm... risk a hard reset for maybe 40mghz? Not worth it... there would be no difference.

Read the thread first please. It will not overclock your TyTn.
Look at this page for the explanation:

Hi all,
I have read many old posts and read widely on the google regarding overclocking our beloved polaris.
I have not seen any software out there that has made this possible? (unless i have not read widley enough) unfortunetly i am not a capable programmer (yet) and dont have the abilty to write such a thing.
Does anyone have such a thing? for us who are not willing (mine is stabilty) to flash a cooked rom, overclocking seems the best way to speed up the slightly sluggish wm6.1. i have done all the tweaks and still want more. When i eventually get my HD, then my TC will be experimented on, until then i need a stable platform.
Any advice chaps/chapesses?
I believe it is not possible to overclock the Polaris because it happens to have hardware that has been devoid of any overclocking functionality.
I read about this somewhere else on this forum, just can't find the links at this moment ...
If you have installed nand Android with Windows nbhEditor you can overclock the cpu from 400 to 550 Mhz.Only for android.Dont try it for windows....

Overclock question

Hello, maybe this is a stupid question: P but I wanted to ask, given that the Android project was able to overlock the terminal, how come there is no way to overclock with windows mobile?
There is - there's an app for it somewhere...

Qualcomm devices cannot be clocked well (or at all). There are some achieved results on Touch Pro: http://www.nuerom.com/BlogEngine/post/2009/09/06/Touch-Pro-running-at-800MHZ.aspx but it's not a good idea as the one of overclocking the Intel's XScale chips

HD2 already has an overclocker, why can't we?

So most of you know that the HD2 can already overclock their phones which isn't fair and, in my opinion, unnecessary, but guess the snapdragons are just easy to overclock...
So when do you think the TP2 might be able to get an overclocker or will it even much be able to be overclocked? I know no2chem was attempting to do it but then he stopped updating his website .
If I can overclock my phone to 800mghz I don't think I'll be switching this phone in anytime soon.

I agree, would be nice...
Support idea
Supported idea.

Greaat plan...
Whatever happened to no2chem? I was really excited that he was going to come out with one since he came out with the Touch Pro's overclocker ...
So is there really no hope now? I would so have gone up on the overclocker if I knew anything about the subject lol.
I imagined it would have already came out for this phone but maybe everyone is wishfully expecting that someone (who may also be wishfully hoping) will do the job lol .
We should start a bounty just like the android forum has! Donations please!
I believe if there was a bounty we could start some development for this and hopefully have a working overclocking tool by the end of the summer! If one of the mods or senior members would like to step in and head this project I will do everything I can to back them up! anyone interested PM me! We need to get this going! This device is more than a year old!

Haha hell yeah! That would be awesome! I wish I had money to donate but if someone could also make it an auto over/under clocker then all the better! I do believe Android phones have that no? Didn't no2chem release his source files for what he was working on?
here's the overclocker from htc
Could this be the legit overclocker for our beloved TP2's!? Could it be...

Sadly...I think not, but somebody somebody test it out and prove me wrong!lol
Its not....a quick google search revealed that this cab was for the original Tilt aka kaiser I believe, which uses a completely different processor....sooo yeah...
Once again all my hopes seem to be lost
Has ANYONE ever overclocked the Qualcomm MSM7200A? The CPU may be locked... Although I recall someone saying it can be UNDERclocked.
EDIT: OK, I did some searches. It turns out that the MSM7200A has TWO CPUs, one at 528 (arm11) and one at 256 (arm9). I suspect that this would be difficult to overclock, since the secondary CPU would also have to be overclocked.
The chip has impressive built in capabilities, I had not realized that the graphics support and video was that good. Overall the CPU seems to be built for consistent activity, being sturdy rather than built for speed - other than the 528 Mhz...

This CPU has been effectively overclocked in Android, but to my knowledge not in WinMo so far. The second CPU is the graphics processor and the data processor for calls and stuff(think 3G)
I believe in android people have gotten it to 768Mhz which would be great for Windows Mobile!!

Well, maybe we should ask over in the Android forum - maybe someone who has overclocked there can tell us what he/she changed. People are offering a bounty to the person who can overclock it - so far only $30, but I bet more people would contribute.

The way the CPU is overclocked in Android is super easy compared to an overclock in Windows Mobile, as it only requires a couple lines of text to be changed.
