After I installed my extended battery, it booted to this red, green, blue, and white screen with Serial in the white, TITA100 in the red along w/ SPL-1.04.0000
If i plug it into the charger and reboot, it comes up fine. Any thoughts (btw, it is an HTC extended battery specifically for the XV6800)
soft reset the device,
or put in MTTY : set 16 0, task 8.
it works, NICE.

I know my mda has a red - orange - green (bi)LED and a blue LED.
Yesterday my battery was very low, but i couldn't charge it because i wasn't home. I thought that it wouldn't be a problem, i 've backups at home, etc, so i didn't worry... When i was back home i tried to charge it, but when a do so, a red light shows up and after a while it changes to blue.
Does anyone know what's wrong or at least know what the different colours mean?
tested the battery -> full
tested my battery in another phone.. was completely full, so the charging is not a problem, but i'm afraid my phone is dead...

Hi,
Anyone got any ideas on this one?
My prophet will not switch on, go in to bootloader or get recognised on a PC with USB connection.
The only life in the phone is when connected to a charger, the red light at the top comes on.
Have tried Hard resets/ new battery etc but still no luck.
Couldn't find anything on forum to help. Very stuck.
if you leave the charger on long enough, does the red light turn to green i.e. fully charged? i'm sure you've tried to switch it on while charged?
Hi,
Yeah light turns green after a few hours but still no turn on or bootloader.
The other thing is the red light stays on when the battery has been removed. Is this normal? Never noticed it before.
Sussed it....
Ended up opening the case. with the case off, the light went orange and screen light up. Case back on, red light and no screen.
Turns out the mainboard was shorting out on the back of the lcd screen. Bit of parcel tape sorted the problem.
I was replacing a screen on my friends lg g2 and when i put it back tgheter it didnt boot up, when i plug it in to charge a red light starts blinking.I tore it down again checked if everything was connected properly and then plug it int again but it i still get the red flashing light.Im confident that i didnt damage any components while taking it apart.Does anyone know what this is and how to fix it?

If you are sure you install it right, and you can see the screen and access to the system , you nedd to know that there is an option on every stock rom that when you connect a charger the red led appear.
Go to settings, screen , led , and uncheck the "led when charging"
Otherwise, could be an hardware problem. But if that appears only when it´s charging, I think that this is what happens
Dear fellow XDA members,
Yesterday, I replaced by LG G2 screen and after the repair the phone wouldn't boot anymore. It however shows signs of life if I plug in the charger, this is what happens then:
Notification light blinks 8 times red
Pause
8 times a red blink
Pause
and this continues for ages.
What I did sofar:
-Tried to soft reset & hard reset via button combo (no result)
-plug out the battery connector & plug it in again
-check all connections and possible damage (no potential problems found)
-Check voltage of battery (it is around 3V)
-Put phone in charger for a whole night
Do you guys have any ideas what is causing the problem? what does the 8 blinks error code mean? Hopefully you can help me out!
that sounds like the new screen is damaged.
try the old one and see if it boots
i dont think that it has anything to do with the battery
no idea what the led error code means
Not working.. Also replaced battery, but still same blinking led
