Hello everybody.
After i flashed the Radio ROM 2.69.11 to my Wizard..
Its broken, freezes on bootup and wont run.
the screen shows the following:
IPL: 0.3
SPL 1.03
OS 1.3.1.13
--------------------
How do i fix this problem?

IPL 0.3? What did you loaded into it...
The Radio ROM may be too new for your IPL version...
If warranty is not important, Go to the Wizard Upgrade section and read the stickies, use Button's 1.05 ROM to unlock, then upgrade a newer IPL and SPL.

Put it into bootloader, then flash from there.
Bootloader is.. Power + camera button.. right?
I got red/green/blue/ screen now.. with IPL 1.03 and SPL 1.03..
Connection USB and start the .exe file? (from buttons).

what is the difference between the rom from andot becuz remove nina.ttf doesnt say much to me. filesize is excactly the same as andots rom

Is it indeed stable after e.g. changing Home Screen options, activesyncing and switching the device on and off a few times? And: did you use the most recent SPL (1.01.0109) or the older (1.01.0064) version?

only fixed 0.3 camera app.
keyboard driver from ronswens' wm5 amadeus build can't work in wm6.
We need to modify the wm5 keyboard driver for wm6 amadeus.

I suplied 27M 1.01.0109 SPL & 1.01.0064 SPL.
you can flash ROM from 27M 1.01.0109 SPL, then enter the WM6, flash 1.01.0064 SPL, and then when you reboot your phone, you will not see the red text.

I had 1.01.0109 SPL on my Feeler and flashed 'back' to 1.01.0064 SPL. Now I get the red, green and blue screen (red: Typhoon IPL 1.00, green: Typhoon 1.01.0064 and blue: just Typhoon, nothing else) and I cannot load the new WM6 ROM.
I hope I did not brick my device. Any suggestions?
If you find 1.01.0064 SPL not support your device, you can flash 1.01.0109 SPL back. your phone os will come back.

How to flash back to 1.01.0109 SPL? As far as I know you need to be ActiveSynced with the device and - as you can guess - I only can get in the red-green-blue screen of 1.01.0064 SPL.

Please look at this to flash your device to 1.01.0109 SPL.

Your smartphone must be activesynced with the computer.
[*]Download IU_SPL+PatchedRUU.zip from here.
[*]Extract all the files to some folder on the PC and run Patched_RUU.exe.
[*]Follow the instructions and it will flash SPL 1.01.0109 to your phone.

Already solved the problem. Solution: just in case other people get the same problem
1. Get into bootloader mode for 1.01.0064 SPL (the red-green-blue screen)
2. Run USB connection with MTTY 1.42
3. Press Enter to see Cmd prompt
4. Type info 2 and press Enter
5. Type format BINFS and press Enter
6. Now you can run 2003SE official ROM
After this you can flash back to 1.01.0109 SPL and install WM6 ROM

Do not have that ROM, I found a Qtek which worked ok as an intermediate step to get back to ronswens WM5
Bricked Feeler
I try to flash my Qtek 8020 with WM6 Rom, but at 68% stage of flashing my PC updater window missing from my desktop. I retry to start updater, but without any succes, of course.
Now, my device is death.
Anybody has a solution for this ?
Please, this smartphone is in a very good condition (is new one, 0 min. talking, in fact ) ,i don't want to drop it.

i think this might work bcos it happend when i tried to upgrade to WM6 on ma typhoon.... do as following... n within no time it will be workin again.......
Now you need to access the bootloader. Ensure that the phone is turned off, hold the camera button with a hand, and connect the USB cable, after a second, you will see a white screen asking 'Need an IU? ", press 0 and you will see a 3 colour screen which is the bootloader.... Now extract the ROM which you have downloaded earlier on to your C: drive, then execute mtty.exe. Select USB from the drop down menu and click OK..... Copy os.bin into C drive. Now type 'l c:/os.bin' without the quotes and type enter, you will see a series of process. The entire process takes around 10-20 minutes. Please be patient. Once it is done, type ResetDevice, and you have WM6.

Moreover I've got a question: i'm now using andot's rom, in english so when i change rom to yours, the only thing that is gonna change is the font, right?

Hello everyone,
I am here to ask for some help from the experts.
I already read a lot in this forum but could not find any working solution.
My Prophet was upgraded to IPL/SPL 3.08 and won't turn on unless I connect +5v pn pin 1 and ground on pin 6. Doing this I can go to tricolor screen.
I tried to flash IPL/SPL 2.20 but after the reboots it comes back with IPL/SPL 3.08.
Any ideas how to downgrade the IPL/SPL ?

I sorted this in a moment of clarity.
Steps:
1. Got a working WM5 rom into the Prophet
2. Connected ActiveSync
3. Got prophet SOFT SPL into the phone device root.
4. Run SOFT SPL. Got a white Screen (Witch is normal. This is the SSPL bootloader screen)
5. Flashed IPL 2.20... OK
6. Flashed HARDSPL... OK (I supose SPL 2.20 can also be flashed)
Thevice unbricked and working fine.

Got here friends htc wizard (MDA VARIO). After dunno what only boot screen appears and thats all. Bootmanager is accessable.
IPL 1.01
SPL 3.08
GSM 01.12.10
OS 1.5.4.2
I am able to put there button rom, but thats all. I tried many roms, but noone can be instaled. Also tried love wizard rom. I dont have the original rom.
Batery is loaded up to max.
Any suggestions?
Ok solved, it was problem with flash tool.
EDIT: still i dont have any functional ROM. The love wizard rom doesnt boot up. I dont have access to original rom. I am nearlly at end of ideas.
I was able to load there this ROM:
RUU_Vario_AKU3.3_3822_382120_026911_TMO_DE_GER_Ship.exe
But still it freezes on boot screen.
Please, anybody got a rom, that works in a Mda Vario from slovakia? Its for sure cid blocked and i dont have a functional rom.
Hard reset is not possible. He says, that failure at format. Any body got some idea????
maybe you can try to update your IPL to 3.08 and GSM to 2.x

By mistakely Orefkov hspl and run rom update utility of this folder my old Gene show black screen.when press power key call/reject led blink one more time but screen is going black.the gene goes in bootloader tri screen mode.

1. if u have done the wrong HSPL for ur phone then i think u need to take it to service or do that jtag(i dont know how to do this )
2. u can try this if u can get into ur try color
connect the USB cable if u get the USB symbol on the phone then try flashing the right ROM for ur phone

My ELF worked fine before I tried to upgrade its IPL from 1.11.0002 to 2.26.0002, then this problem occur. Because a WM 6.1 ROM requires to have IPL 2.27.0002 and SPL 2.28.0000 so I kept continue upgrade the IPL/SPL to 2.27.0002 and 2.28.0000.
I tried to flash my ELF, from bootloader mode, with these ROMs:
- RUU_Elf_DOPOD_chs_1.11.706.1B, this ROM I got from a China forum, it is my device original ROM
- RUU_Elf_DOPODASIA_WWE_1.11.707.1B_4.1.13.42_02.93.90_Ship.exe
- RUU_Elf_DOPODASIA_WWE_1.17.707.2B_4.1.13.46_02.97.90_BLUE_Ship.exe
- RUU_Elf_HTC_Asia_HK_WWE_1.15.721.3B_4.1.13.46_02.97.90_BLUE_Ship.exe
- ESSential_4_5
- Onyx_jr_4_4_2_Light
They are all 100% successfull but the IPL/SPL unchanged (2.27.0002 and 2.28.0000) and the device still loop at smart mobility, can not jump into OS.
I did try to use unbricker ROM and goldcard (with original ROM or unbricker ROM inside) but the ELF still stuck at smart mobility...
Please give me your advices, what should I do (except buying a new phone)?

First try to flash your official ROM and then try to flash ipl/spl again follow step by step. After that try to flash customize ROM again. Hope you will success.

I don't have the IPL1.11.0002 and SPL 1.11.0000, the lowest I have is IPL1.17.0002 and SPL1.17.0000. I tried to flash back the 1.17 version, after 100% successful, enter bootloader, the IPL 2.27.0002 and SPL 2.28.0000 still remain!?
Please tell me how to do!

After flash back to official ROM , enter bootloader and check ipl/spl first.
Normally, if you flash ipl/spl (not hard spl) when you flash back to the official ROM the ipl/spl will back to original. S/R - wait for boot to WM if OK then do H/R again. And flash ipl/spl again - enter bootloader and check ipl/spl again (changed or not) if OK after that I recommended you flash Onyx ROM. I used it for long time and no trouble.

How you flashed ROM ? By RUU (PC) or used microSD card. I recommened you to use RUU (PC) follow step by step. Sometime when I used microSD card to flashed ROM , it's successful but cannot boot, after that I flashed Official ROM by RUU and unlocked the phone again it's back to normal. And your official ROM, you must check with your operator or distributor because in different zone it's use diferent ROM.

I only can flash via PC RUU, I don't succeed in SD card way:
- When I copy the *.nbh file into SD card, then enter bootloader, I just can see the checking SD card content string displayed very fast, then the tri color screen.
- When I create a goldcard and copy *nbh file into it, enter bootloader, the brick ask for 'upgrading SD image', I press power button for it to start download but it hang at 'downloading from SD' with a blank download status bar.
Actually I bought this ELF from a man on my local site, so I don't know where is the distributor...I used the mtty and usb monitor to check for my device infor, then search internet for my original ROM, I only can find in a China forum that match my deviceID/CID....
For my case, I really don't know why I can not change its IPL/SPL version? Please help me!!!
