Is it possible to reset the screensaver password on windows mobile 5
Microsoft says by making a hardreset but it doenst work on my device.
Is there any other solution to that problem?

When I connect the Jasjar to the PC through the cable it appeares this error message:
Critical communications srvices have failed to start . Try resetting the mobile device .and then connect again.
What I did as a solution:
1. Soft reset (nothing happened) same problem
2. Hard reset (it was very bad without backup) still nothing happened
3. Remove Microsoft Active Sync 4.0
4.Install Microsoft active sync 4.1 and the surprise was that same problem still last. In the other hand I can connet the I-mate PDA2K normally .
how can I FIX it please?

Last night I've activated the password function to my mobile phone but the strange thing is i couldn't open my phone with the same password on Windows Mobile.
I thought that it could be fixed by re-installing the ROM but couldn't suceed because of ActiveSync connection.
Can anyone help me about this issue please? How could I deactivate the password?
P.S: I'm using WM6 on my Dopod 838
I've just installed WM6 onto my XDA IIs
And when I start-up there were some problems
A Warning appear that : The file "PhoneService" cannot be opened.Either its is not signed with a trusrted certificate, or one of its component cannot be found, If the problem persists, try reinstalling or restoring this file.
The sesond one is "sms_alert_fix"

Have you installed the updated .cab files from Xplode?
Edit: Will be called ".cabs2"
phoneservice was part of eten phone tools and it is not compatible with our phones, and wm6 i think, about sms_alert_fix i have not tryed it and don't know what it does in wm6
The problem with me now is i cannot connect my divice with my PC
Active Sync does not work. A message appear that : active Sync cannot connect to the Windows Mobile powered device. To troobleshoot the problem, click OK. I've followed those troobleshooting step but cannot solve anything...

try to reinstall activesync, and hardreset your BA (the problem should be in one of them, PC or BA)
I know it's quite silly for me but i cannot hard reset my BA
I have pressed and hold the power button then press the reset button but there's nothing better, the BA just reset but there's no change.
I've downgraded it to Windows Mobile 2003 then upgraded it again to WM6 but all the settings at the first time I installed WM6 and configed are still there.
I also try to uninstall Active Sync and install it a gain too.
My PC use Windows XP, and when i try to connect the BA to another PC that use Windows Vista, it worked. So i think the problem was from my PC.
But now i wanna hard-reset it but i can...oh...i'm getting crazy with this...

Hi all i m new in the community but an experienced user, i flashed wp7 on my hd2 set up everything, wifi, data plan, e-mail accounts, got an activation code and all. The thing is i can't unlock the phone using chevron, and man i tried EVERYTHING.
emailed the cert
installed it
airplane mode
tried with wifi on / off
changed my phone's & computer's locale to USA
auto time off
screen lock set to never
hosts file permisions set to write
hosts file delevopers ip adresses deleted
windows phone 7 developers tool installed
zune installed and signed in [YES!!! *found this yesterday i changed my computers region and locale to USA and the sign in button appeard inside Zune Software, so in case you are wondering where the hell do i sign in on zune software that should do the trick]
run chevron with admin privileges, compatibility mode on and off
tried with WPconnect
i flushed my dns using ipconfig /flushdns in cmd promt
i don't use skype but i checked just to be sure the port is free, yea it is
turned firewall, ms security essentials real time protection off
reboot the phone and pc a billion times
did phone softreset
did phone hard reset
reflashed windows phone 7
deleted zune software,
deleted windows phone SDK,
deleted active sync,
deleted usb drivers,
deleted temporary files,
did registry sweep
reinstalled Everything
did the whole proccess again and again and nothing, apart from enabling the sign in button in zune software i couldnt come up with anything at all to progress my wp7 hd2 unlock with chevron.
I have windows 7 ultimate x64, all updates installed, in good condition no ****ware and stuff.
Wait, one thing i didn't, FORMAT teh damn thing!!! Yeah right, in your dreams dude
So any suggestions on this ? It's really useless if you cant download apps and stuff.

Turn firewall off and try again... Nothing? Do the same after a pc reboot

I found what the f#)($#)(#$ was up, i terminated certain windows services, in particular i shut down
apache server service
mysql service
file zilla server service
and it worked FINALY FINALLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
it worked done but when i restart my phone it doesnt work and restart regularly and when widows phone logo shown it becomes restart and again .....
so what should i do ?
and after this, how can i install apps on my phone ?
i unlocked my phone onetime and the unlock changed relock. irestart it and after that it restart 4 times . now it works but when i open chevron & tic the two blanks it shows the unlock again? what does it mean? i unlock one time.
and how can i instal app? how can i use marketplace?when i conect my phone to pc it says update is ready? what should i do? and when i creat my windows live account after sign in it asks for activation code(25digit).
help please
