Pressing Outlook in HTC Home - MDA III, XDA III, PDA2k, 9090 ROM Development

Hi, I have HTC Home6 plugin, before I installed the MMS functionality, when I choose email button, I am directed to the messaging applications (Text, outlook and new email account). However, after installing the MMS application, when I choose the outlook button, it directs me to the MMS inbox. Why is this so? Where in the registry can this be changed?

Check multiple email accounts with 1 key press & HTML em

I would like to know if it is possible to check multiple email accounts without having to switch between each one. I do have profimail which can do this, but would like to use the std. messaging if possible.
Also, is there a registry fix to open HTML emails in the browser so they can be read?
I don't want to use push email as I am roaming so only check infrequently.
Thanks,
Mike
I am looking for software like that, too.
I have 5 e-mail accounts registered in poutlook on my htc with wm6.5.
I check e-mails manually so I've got tired to open poutlook and choose one account>send receive and after everytring is finished switch account and repeat previous step.
... so is there a posibility to check all accounts with a push of a button? (tap - I mean)

Remove/Hide Mailboxes In "Messaging" Application...

Is there any way of removing/hiding mailboxes from the default messaging application?
I currently have:
Hotmail
MMS
Outlook E-Mail
Text Messages
Windows Live
But I don't need them all, and they get in the way. So i'm wondering, would it be possible for me to remove:
Hotmail
MMS
Windows Live
from the messaging application, so they don't get in the way, and take up valuable screen space? I don't want to have to remove any programs if I can avoid it, nor do I want to use a different messaging application.

WM6 Challenge

I really need some help here.
I have a WM6 Moto Q9m. My challenge is with email, and notifications. First of all, I am using ActiveSync just fine with Exchange 2003 (soon to be 2007 ). I have configured a second email account for POP3 to a mailbox that I need to monitor 24x7. Here is what I can not figure out:
1. On the home screen (default vzw profile) I have the email shortcuts for each account to include "email (outlook)" SMS, MMS, and VMail. I do not have, nor can figure out how to get a shortcut for my POP3 mailbox. When I get a new email to my pop3 inbox, I get an audio notification, but I can not see at a glance how many items are unread in that pop3 mailbox like I can in the "Email" shortcut. In WM5, the pop3 mailbox would show on the home screen in addition to the default outlook mailobx.
2. I would really like to change the audio notification to be different for the pop3 mailbox, than the default outlook mailbox. As I am monitoring the pop3 mailbox 24x7, I would like to have a "pager" sound to differentiate the pop3 email notification from the default email notification.
I know there is someone that can shed some light here. I have searched the registry but can not figure these out! Thank You!

messaging application defaults..

i've had a search around but to no avail. Does anyone know how to change the default messaging application to start up to either SMS or Email by default and not MMS...I've checked the registry but couldn't find anything obvious.
cheers.
Are you by any chance running HTC Home plugin? I have found that the email app only defaults to MMS when i have HTC Home plugin running. When i turn HTC Home off the email app goes back to restarting in the last active email account.
I was looking around on emu's website and found this FAQ
10. When I press the Email button on the "Home" tab, it takes me to my MMS/SMS messages. How can I fix this?
This is a known issue with the HTC Home Plugin. The workaround is to create a POP account on your device, then press the Email button again. It should now take you to your email messages. You can then remove the POP account if unneeded.
I created the account and it works great now

How do I delete an Outlook email account/inbox?

I've set up two email accounts, an AOL and one in Outlook (work one).
Under options, it gives me the option to "delete" the AOL one but I want to delete the Outlook inbox and there's no option for that.
any ideas?
Go into Activesync, then munu, options select the account and delete.
perfect!
thanks
