Hi I cant get my Pioneer bluetooth radio to connect to my XDA EXEC I have used my Pioneer radio to connect to other phones fine.
Anyone else got this working?
also can u rename the Bluetooth on the EXEC
I don't have an answer, but can you comment on how the pioneer radio works as a hands-free kit?
Not technically how it works, but how you have found it ie: echo's, caller experience etc.
Works fine the mic that comes with the radio works great, I installed it in the top right hand corner of the drivers side, and even if passanger wants to talk the person hears other end,
Some people have said that there is a bit of a Echo on there end.
Normally it conncect to bluetooth phones easy, juts click on register it finds phone then enter code on phone and done.
I have managed to see the radio from connecting from XDA to the radio, but the radio will still not register it !!. can anyone help.
Don't use the radio's 'register' function. Go to connect and set it going then go to the pda and add a new BT device with the code 1111. Worked for me on my JAMin.
Regards
Can anyone confirm if the Exec is compatiable with this stereo? I've got an Orange M5000 and was thinking of getting this stereo, specifcally for the bluetooth functionality.
I don't think the phone is on their compatibilty list, but I know these lists aren't always kept up to date.
Thank you in advance!

Maybe you should tell us your ROM version so we can see if it has A2DP support.

Radio Version 1.03.00
Ext Rom 1.30.174 WWE

Apparently the JasJam and Dopod 838Pro don't have FM Radio but the Tytn have FM Radio. Does somebody know is this a Hardware differences or a software ?? I hope it is the software - then is it possible to hack and install the FM Radio into the Jasjam/DOPOD.
Many thanks in advance.
TyTN does not have FM Radio. Relax
Thanks - now I'm at peace !!!!
Any hardware/software hack to improve the WLAN Signal ????
Hi,
I've got a simple question, I know it's true that in the D810 trinity version, FM Radio works. So, By flashing a D810 rom (Os and Radio roms) on another trinity PDA, why the FM radio wont work ?
The hardware isn't the same (ie chipsets inside) ???
Thanx for your answers.
This is the first I've heard about the Trinity having FM Radio..
Trinity does not have FM radio... none of the available versions.
the Trinity definately does not have an FM radio hidden in there.
Although now that there are a few PDA's and phones out there with one, I think its a great addition.
Looking forward to see where PDA's are going in the next year or so. wouldnt it be great if we got a strong GPS receiver, really decent camera and a digital or RDS radio built in.
What ever else could they fit in there??
fm radio
there is no fm radio on any of htc p3600 or dopod d810
however you can downlaod the resco radio and listen to all those radio stations through internet
Hi,
There is a connector for Car's antenna and for GPS antenna. Ok, for the GPS, I know what it is, but for the Car's antenna, is for the TMC ? (Trafic information ?)
If it's exact, what is the com port for use it please ?
Thank a lot
No, its for the Mobile phone radio, and the Built-in Anttena some cars have.
There is no TMC (Or FM) Radio Function in the x7500
Ok, thanks a lot
Hi there,
is it possible to install an alternative BT stack on the TP2? I can't pair with a BT mouse and keyboard and want to try if replacing BT stack might solve this?
I guess grabbing another stack from another model might brick my phone or isn't that so risky
Tnx.. Marco
I replaced the bt stack on my Hermes once.
It did work but it kinda wrecked my wm 6.1 install, causing horrible performance.
I guess (esp at this moment) your best bet is to get the current bt stack to work with your devices.
I personally love the new BT stack, the default microsoft stack doesn't seem to support anything and is incredibly slow.
Stoway BT drivers can be downloaded here it probably doesnt have direct support for the Rhodium, but if you check which other devices used a Widcomm Stack, then it should work.
Cheers,
Beasty
