Hi,
There is a connector for Car's antenna and for GPS antenna. Ok, for the GPS, I know what it is, but for the Car's antenna, is for the TMC ? (Trafic information ?)
If it's exact, what is the com port for use it please ?
Thank a lot
No, its for the Mobile phone radio, and the Built-in Anttena some cars have.
There is no TMC (Or FM) Radio Function in the x7500

Is it possible to get a Qtek s100 to function as a gps in some way?
if you get a wired gps or a bluetooth pda you can access gps from the device
if you mean without that then no
it would be the same thing as trying to make an old WalkyTalky into a satelite phone
or an old transistor radio into a digital satelite reciever
Ok thanks for answer
Is it possible to connect a wired GPS to the Magician? If so, which connection does it use? (MCX / MMCX / SMA ..)

It is not possible, I tried it with a wired GPS receiver but it refused to work. Then I bought a Bluetooth GPS receiver on Ebay and it works perfectly, it is even faster than my Mio GPS unit.
Ok
I hoped that would work because I found these GPS receivers:
PG-174 Digital GPS Antenna $8.31 (free shipping! around the world)
Digital GPS Antenna (1575Mhz F-Cable) $7.50 (free shipping! around the world)
Markos, these are not GPS receivers.
They are external antennas and are used to improve the signal of a receiver that, supposedly, you already have.
Hi all,
I am thinking about buying a used Pharos. I would like to know which GPS chip is built in - is it a SIRF III or something else like MTK or Venus?
Which experiences do you have regarding the sensitivity and the precision of the GPS? Is it comparable to a SIRFIII Bluetooth receiver?
hi
htc pharos am equipped with a head of gps inserted

It is the SIRF III.
I am using a TMC receiver from GNS on a HTC Leo with the following problem:
Connection with this device is possible via e.g. COM2. But before running IGO I first have to establisch a bleutooth connection before i can start IGO TMC. When i start IGO without first connecting to this bleutooth device it ask me to add a new bleutooth device or first make a connection to FM9BT-C. This screen disapperas verry fast, so no possiblity to make a selection. This does not happen with a HTC TytN II. In this case it makes automatically a connection with the selected bleutooth device FM9BT-C without asking for making a connection manually Does somebody have a solution for this.
TMC on HD2
Who has experience with using TMC on a HD2 via a bleutooth connection. Every time IGO askes for the correct bleutooth device. The screen looks like:
ad a new device ...
connect to FM9BT-C
Is there a possibility to connect directly to this TMC device without asking?
why would you need bluetooth?
you can use the build in TM radio for TMC...
search the development board for TMC ... greetz
There is no TMC driver for the Touch HD2
did they change the radio controller so much?
on rhodium ect. the tmc is working fine...
Yes they changed it. So at the moment no TMC driver for the HD2.
Hi, have you made any progress with the issue you have, of having to activate the bluetooth connection before starting your iGo8?
