Hi!
I got a major problem when i upgrading my Qtek1010 to PPC 2003..
It works really good until the machine goes on suspend or i try to reboot.
I can't get it to restart, it's like the "on button" is broken. If i press soft reset the machine boots up really fine OR if i open and close the sim card holder...
Does anybody have a clue over what's wrong? I have been trying to find the answer on the forum but with no luck...

Thanks for the help, the phone is working now, except for one thing.. GPRS!!
Vodafone has made som upgrade on GPRS so QTEK want's me to send the phone to service... There should be a way to solve this without sending the phone... Do you have any idea? Maybe it's the radio that needs upgrading?
do you have the right settings for vodaphone where you live ?
often you have to manualy setup such settings in connections after a rom upgrade
you can try search for which settings vodaphone use
I've tested different settings, but i don't think that's the problem. i think that i have to use the right radiostack or something like that to get it to work..

I recently upgraded to WM 2003 using LumpiStefan's ROM kitchen. Since then my SD card occassionally erases itself. Also tried WM 2003SE and it lasted a day before being erased.
Anyone know why this is happening and how to fix it?

The Wm 2003SE rom already has those settings. unfortunately i am still having the same problem. Any advice as to what to try now?
Correction. The only difference is the value of Iclass. I have updated this as you have suggested. I am back to WM 2003 because I kept having other problems with WM 2003SE.
My device now does not even recognise that an SD card is installed. I am not sure what has happened.
Also the model number has changed to 10B1 rather than 10A any reason for this?
i am running WM 2003 4.02.04
The model change from PW10A to PW10B is fixed by a value of the ROM, but this causes no problem.....
Maybe this fix do not work with this ROM....
Maybe you should change back the values....

I have used several of the 2003 Roms as well as the 2003SE rom and all of them have this problem with the card. Is there a way to fix this?

Hi, I have just experienced this problem with Wallaby & Windows 2003SE, does anyone know if downgrade to Windows 2002 would solve it? Thanks in advance.

Erasing of SD-Card is just a problem from WM2003 (final, beta and SE....)

LumpiStefan: Thanks for the answer. I tried to downgrade to 2002 but the absence of landscape mode is too much to bear...
Im not sure but i think that the beta 2003 version doesn´t erase the sd cards, if my memory doesnt fail that was the version i had after puting 2003 se.

I have a few hints about this problem but are early speculations;
1.If you soft reset with the card inserted it will erase somethimes.
2.Do not quit the sd card while some apps are runing (like mp3 player) this will make the sistem slow.

This question i have asked many a times still didnt got any solution again asking once more. Now i cooked wm 6.1 for opal it works fine but whenever i cook wm 6.5 and above (wm 6.5.1/6.5.3) my wifi would autostart (wifi status is off in kitchen) on welcome screen... after configuration and first boot when i try to turn off wifi it gets off but after a soft reset my today setting, wifi, bluetooth , comm manager and a lots of things wont work.
So i have got some alternative solution but all have some problem.
1. If i remove serial32.dll my rom works fine but i wont have bluetooth working.
2. If i remove serial32.dll reg entry then also same result no wifi bug but bluetooth wont work.
3. If i remove bluetooth packages from sys same result as above.
So finally i dont have any solution even i tried to remove serial32.dll and later i made cab and installed but after installation it again conflicts and as a result my today setting etc wont work. I also tried switching some driver with gene, elfin but same result.
The only possible solution i see is:
1. To use a different bluetooth stack but unfortunately there are no alternate bluetooth stack for opal (but i tried to install widcomm one with little mod it worked but again iam not sure coz its not finding bluetooth devices)
2. Any alternate dll for serial32.dll which will do the work of serial32.dll but should be compatible with opal (omap 850).
Anybody as some solution?

My Orange SPV M700 keeps saying Searching... whenever I switch the phone on and after about 5 minutes it says no signal even though the signal is actually there. The current ROM I have installed is [ROM] nAr & icke WM6.5 P3600/i [21895.5.0.90][WWE][FRA][DEU][ONLINE] the English version, and the Radio Version is 1.56.70.11. The GPS works fine and so does the Bluetooth as well as the WiFi and WLAN it also synchronising to Activesync ok. I also have the Manila Version 1.2.1913.1350 if this helps, I seriously need the phone working otherwise I'm kind of stuck. I also used the Free HTC Trinity SIM & CID Unlocker from Pof located here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=293957&highlight=CID/SIM which unlocked the SIM card as well as loading any ROM which successfully worked after 6 tries.
hello together,
a few days ago, i left windows mobile, and switched to android-nand version from typhoon. Actually i have the version 2.3 and everything is fine, only my dualsim adpater "magicsim 3g" doesn't work. the dualsim adapter is installing a stk menue itselfs where you can switch to the other sim card. The only problem is, when i want to switch, there is a small loading symbol, but nothing happens. I have read, that the adapter works on android, but i don't know where is the problem.
Could anyone help me with this problem?
