When i use it after a while, the touch screen clicks itself, and after a few mins stops responding completely then i have to use the buttons...the touch screen becomes non functional after the battery has some usage....
any suggestions pls? could this be the battery? i already replaced the LCD...

Unresponsive touchscreen help

All of the sudden the Hermes stopped responding to the touch screen, all of the regular buttons work and the screen remains on, doesnt shut down. I reflashed it thinking it might fix the problem but now I am stuck at the calibrate screen. Anyone else encounter this, and if so is there a fix for it?

What is your device s/n ?
to pass calibrate screen, take out battery for 3 or 4 hour.
then put battery and power on.
I had the battery out overnight and the problem remains, the serial starts with HT729F

if your mean is that, backlight wont off automatically
Maybe same problem...
My Wizard had that problem. I got a business card and stuck it between the screen and casing and swiped it all along the perimeter, especially the bottom, and it worked fine after that.

Problem - hTC TOUCH HD

i have a problem with my touch hd.
recently, it has been turning off in random times, and when i power it up the battery is on 0%.
i have done an experiment, charged my hd to 100%.
then plugged off, used the device with random functions, then suddenly arround 95% it turned off, and when i power up - 0% battery and device cannot be turned on without electricity cable.
my radio is 1.13
do you think its a hardware problem? or software?
i dont think its an hardware fault, maybe the battery broken down or somethin.
but is it a software problem?
buy a new battery.

thats what i thought, the question is if its really a battery problem? cus the device says it has 95% then suddenly 0%.. and if i restart couple of times it comes back to the original power 90%.. etc.
theres a battery re-calibration process on the touchHD and it does work.
mine was slow % drop to 50%, then it'd loose the remaining charge very quickly.
even though the battery had charge, the OS saw low % and turned itself off.
i followed http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=585914 and it did the job. battery % goes down predicably now.
if that doesnt work, time for a new battery i think.

Almost non-existant battery life

Hello! Recently my phone has terrible battery life. It lasts around half an hour at most. It goes from 100% to 89% in 5 minutes and then shuts down. To open it back I have to plug the charger on it. I accidently dropped it 2 months ago and since then I have some stripes on it. The touch screen works perfectly though. Do you think this could be reason? Or maybe I should change the battery?
Also after the phone shuts down, when I plug the charger in and open the phone, it says "charge is full". Any help would be much appreciated, thanks!

2 stripes on lcd? Sounds like hardware damage occured when you dropped your phone and ruined your lcd and probably other internals of your phone.
Hardware damage for sure. Should pop your phone open and check all ribbon connections. Check if battery is bulging. Might need replace. If screen still has stripes after this it most def is broken.
Thanks for the help, I will check it after I go back to my country.

S6 Edge+ Blackscreen but digitizer is working

Good day XDA peeps! I have a problem with my S6e+. Sometimes the screen just randomly shuts off but I can still use the touchscreen. Example is if someone's calling me i will just swipe the screen to the right even if I cannot see anything because good thing I got the commands memorize in my head. It does that randomly.
It started doing this problem when I was using the fast charger. I noticed that when using fast charger my screen is just black, but I can use the touchscreen. It will light up around 80% battery (maybe when my phone is not hot anymore from charging). But when I untick the fast charging option, it doesn't make my screen black. But now, the problem is getting worse and worse. It sometimes shut off by itself. I need to try around 10-20 times by pressing the power button until it shows me the display. I've tried doing a clean install in Odin by flashing a stock MM 6.0.1 but the problem still persists.
What could be the problem of my phone? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
