Windows Live Mail on WM6 T-Mo - Wing, P4350 General

Has anyone figured out how to use the Windows Live mail with the T-web with proxy?

If you haven't figured it out yet, then here's your answer:
Use the newer T-Zones hack:
Go to Start -> Settings -> Connections -> Connections -> Manage existing connections -> Edit (the connection you wanna use):
Enter a name for the connection:
T-Mobile Data
Select a modem:
Cellular Line (GPRS)
Click Next
Access point name:
epc.tmobile.com
Click Next
Click Finish
Clear any proxy settings you previously entered
Now your T-Zones hack will work with any internet program, including Windows Live

Step 2: Setting up Vodafone MMS:
Go to Messaging (Start -> Messaging)

Click on MMS Settings
Under Connect via: Select where you made your GPRS connection (My Home Network for example)
Click on the Servers tab

Gateway: 192.168.251.150
Port number: 9201
Sever address: http:##//mmsc.mms.vodafone.nl/ (DO NOT ENTER THE TWO ## ON YOUR UNIT)
Sending size: 100k
Click OK
Now select the Vodafone MMS icon and click Set as Default
Click OK
Click on Tools
Click Options
Click on Storage Tab

Net access issues with telstra branded neon in UK

I'm got a Telstra (au) branded 20 key 4 band model. Have installed Virgin sim, which works fine for calls, but my net access is limited to Telstra sites. Have correctly installed the virgin 3G settings, have called both Virgin and HTC (uk) without any luck. Have tried the hard reset followed by soft reset option posted on another thread.
Any advice? (I don't want to flash a new rom etc since i don't have facilites for backup)
Try This, not sure if it will work
Go to Start --> Settings --> Connections Tab --> Connections --> Edit My Proxy Server and untick "This network uses a proxy server to connect to the internet."
it works!
but it is very slow - must be the virgin service i think. Thanks heaps - thought i had bought a very expensive vanilla phone handset.
The phone probably has all the Telstra Settings for accessing the internet, you will have to find out the Virgin UK settings and add them.
Found these settings on the Virgin UK site http://www.virginmobile.com/vm/vm/setup3gAndGprs.do?contentId=setting.up.3g.gprs.howdoi.sm101 give them a go
1 On the handset, tap on Start.
2 Tap on Settings.
3 Tap on Connections tab.
4 Tap on the Connections icon.
5 Tap on Add a new modem connection under My Work Network.
6 Enter Virgin 3G in the Enter a name for the connection field.
7 Select Cellular Line (GPRS) in the drop down list of Select a modem.
8 Tap on Next.
9 Enter goto.virginmobile.uk in the Access point name field. Tap on Next.
10 Enter user in the User name field.
11 Enter in the Password field.
12 Tap Advanced...
13 Select Use server-assigned IP address. Tap on ok.
14 Tap on Finish.
15Tap on Set up my proxy server or Edit my proxy server if one exists, under My Work Network.
16 Ensure that checkboxes of This network connects to the Internet and This network uses a proxy server to connect to the Internet are checked.
17 Tap on Advanced...
18 Tap on HTTP.
19 Enter 193.030.166.004 in the Server field.
20 Enter 8080 in the Port field.
21 Tap on ok 4 times and close the window to return to the main screen.
The settings have been applied and are ready for use.

Does anyone have these settings for virgin mobile Australia?
Thanks for any help

Download the cab file for HTC Connection Setup and the run it.
It should then auto detect and configure for your Virgin Sim
If you cant find it I'll try to find a link for the cab file that i dl'd yesterday.

Help with GPRS settings

Hi,
I'm in a country where the operators don't have automatic configuration for GPRS. I have got the settings from the operators but don't know where to configure the X1 to do GPRS. I tried settings/connections/connection setup but it presents me with country selection and operator. My country isn't listed. Next I tried settings/connections/connections and add a new modem connection. Here I'm stuck cos I'm unable to put in the settings given to me by the operator which consist of:
username
password
accesspoint name, proxy and port.
I've put in these but X1 is always unable to connect.
Any help will be appreciated.
Start -> Settings -> Connections -> Manage Exisiting Connections -> New...
Enter a name for the connection: Whatever you want (something like your Networks name should help later on)
Select a modem: Cellular Line (GRPS, 3G)
next
Access point name: The one you got from your network
next
Username: The one you got from your network
Password: The one you got from your network
Domain: Leave blank
Fininsh
Proxy Settings
tick This network uses a proxy server to connect to the Internet
Proxy server: Enter IP address given by Network:Port number
OK
Fingers crossed this should work, haven't set up a new account in a while.
Sorry folks. I figured it out. I had to set the proxy in advanced. A bit of a drag I should think.

htc connection setup

installed fine but wouldnt run. it says error. anybody fix this? or does anybody know what settings you need to put it on order for the internet to work?
PS: i have the 34.99 unlimited plan.
anybody got htc connection setup running on their pro?
Why bother
Palm has their own built in.
Put in the SIM, it detects, reboots and you are configured
You don't need the HTC Connection Wizzard
