Hi all,
I have a slight problem with my JASJAR, most times somebody calls me, I miss the phone call most times because I don't hear the phone ringing. I have sorted that out 90% of the time by making it vibrate and ring.
Anybody got a nice loud ringtone but funky? So I can hear it better? Or possibly a solution? I mean I have got all my volumes up on full. When I play music with Windows Media Player, it is nice and loud. Is there a way to get the ringtone the same volume?
Thanks.
get an audio editor for your pc (e.g. Audigy) and raise the base volume in the file.
Thing is, I play the file in Windows Media Player and its at a nice loud volume, now why cant the phone ring at that same volume, its all on max volume. Really sux

You may have set the system volume as maximum and not the phone volume?

Yeah I tried that too, I put everything as high as it can go, I jus dnt understand why, even when I choose the ringtone from the drop down list, its softer when I hear the preview of the selected file. In Windows Media Player with nothing changed its louder. Oh well.
I use Alice Cooper's Poison as a ringtone, preamped it in Windows Sound Recorder before transferring it as a wav to the phone - it's nice and loud and I have only failed to hear it once when it by some fluke started to ring roughly same time as the song came up on my MP3 player so I just thought I had a slight echo...
lol ok, well ill try amp it then, and see what happens, by how much did u amp it by?
I just did: "Increase volume by 25%" off the Effects menu of Windows Sound Recorder.
It seems that my old dash was way louder than the wing. When someone calls its a lil low. Is there a way to make the higher in the registry or something
i was wondering the same thing. My brother's dash does seem like it rings way louder than my wing.
I don't remember the setting, but there's a registry key you can change to increase the volume. Do a forum search.
After I modified registry to boost up the ringtone volume, I found that the volume of ringtone will attenuate .
I do not mean the ringtone volume fluctuates. I do mean the ringtone music is loud at the beginning, but it goes lower and lower in a short time.
When the ringtone music is short(like some default ringtone), this problem is not very obvious. It is because when the music is over, it will be re-played. At re-playing, the ringtone music is also loud at the beginning, but also goes lower and lower, so short ringtone music seems loud at every moment. However, my own ringtone is relatively long, the problem will be very obvious.
This make me missed many calls as the ringtone volume attenuate make me unable to hear the ringtone (vibration of X1i is also not very good).
Do anyone who suffer from this problem? or it just because of my own X1 hardware or software problem?!
I tried to found some related threads or posts here. I know there are some keys like HKCU\ControlPanel\SoundCategories\Attenuation to control, but the problems have solved even I followed the setting from those threads or posts.
Could anyone help me?! thanks~
Good day,
i have problem with this rom: https://forum.xda-developers.com/xiaomi-redmi-3s/development/rom-aospextended-rom-v4-6-t3700677
My problem is too loud volume call problem. On the lowest settings i can hear someone on the other side from the 10 metters! On the headphones is worst and louder. In the Kernel Auditor there is no option to change db little bit lower.
What should i do with this? This ROM is awesome smooth with this VERY important for me mistake.
Or what i need to do with kernel to add option to lower db for call volume, media volume etc?
Please, Thanks for any help

Anyone know of a way to boost alarm clock volume? I've cranked the alarm volume to Max and can barely hear it when it goes off due to the sound being so low
