my k-jam hangs

Hi,
Recently my pda(k-jam) fell from my pocket and it hanged. I did a soft reset but I get this error message "Press Send to restore factory defaults, Other keys to quit"
I tried all keys but in vain. I then did a hard reset by pressing the comm and the voice dial. (did a reset with my stylus). I still get the above error message.
Does anyone have any suggestion or idea how to reset my pda?

Y dnt u flash it with a new Rom look around the forum for the new MOSKI ROM.

Thank you for your suggestion, I will think of upgrading to molski.
But will it upgrade ? As a hard reset also doesnt seem to work and how do I get to reach the ROM if I am not able to see the other things?

I am a newbie and so would seek alot of help. Thanks in advance...
Couple of days back my pda fell and now after soft or hard reset the screen still shows this "press send to restore to factory defaults, other keys to quit"
I would like to upgrade to molski but they say I might have to downgrade my rom but I must first unlock the device. There are g3 or g4 device..how do I know what device my k-jam is...g3 or g4? How do I follow up or know?
Could anybody give me the link or solve my problem? As my k-jam just wont pass that screen..I tried looking into various topics but couldnt go about the first step I should be taking...

Please help..after hard reset, it still does not happen to load into the factory defaults... I cant flash my ROM or anything ...as it wont progress further than that screen ... "Press Send to load factory defaults, or quit"

Hold down the camera button while resetting it. If you can get it to the bootloader (three color screen), you might be able to flash it with something and possibly rescue it. It does, however, sound like you might be screwed. Things break when you drop them, including plastic phones.

Thanks but if I have to do a hard reset, I would already be holding the comm manager and the voice dial with the stylus to reset. Do I hold all the 3 buttons together while hard resetting ?
I have tried all the buttons after doing the hard reset but just doesnt get to the other screen.

Hold down the camera button, Power Button and Pin in the hole. First relese the hole, then release the power button and keep holding the Camera button dis will bring the Tri-colour screen. There'll be some info. like IPL n SPL der
If IPL n SPL are like:
IPL 2.xx.xxxx or 1.xx.xxxx
SPL 2.xx.xxx or 1.xx.xxxx then ur device is G4.
if its like:
IPL 2.xx or 1.xx
SPL 2.xx or 1.xx then ur device is G3
if its G4 you need to CID Unlock that before upgrading it.

I tried your steps but it still wouldnt work. But somehow I did the switch below the comm button and it showed me the screen to the somethign HTC innovation or like that.
I think I had to tinker with the switch below the button to get the screen working.Thanks for your help.

password don't work

Hi , i have a trouble on my htc, i haved had flash the rom and i use the password to protecte my data, when my htc reboot i have a message to insert my password but it's don't work and now my htc is blocked
now i can't flash with any version when i tried to flash the hard spl is say that the image is corrupted :s
can someone halp me

put the device into bootloader mode (hold power button, camera button and do a soft reset), then re-flash with another rom, this way you wont even get to the password screen, you can re-flash without the active sync connection, hell, u can even flash straight from the SD card....granted, it takes ages....but it can be done. Good luck.

thank you i have do a hard reset by pressing ( call bouton (green color) and stop bouton (red color) and stylet then i reflash my rom.
i have another problem, i have install tomtom but it can't found my gps :s there is any upgrade to do that ? do you have a url?

Hard reset dind't work

Hi everybody,
on my Trinity hard reset doesn't work anymore. After for example flashing with a new rom bootloader just blinking. OS is booting normally but hard buttons doesn't work only the "joypad" in the middle. For hardreset i have to press Send button to accept hard reset when i remeber well. But nothing happend when pressing the button. In fact that the device wants a hardreset, softreset is the same problem. I have to replace battery to access OS and boot device. Has anybody a solution? Or is there a progam for WM which can make a hardresend?

Problem with putting XDA II into bootloader.

I wanted to upgrade my operating system on my XDA II but to do that i need to use the power button but on my phone the button is broken, is there any way to get to the serial screen such as a freeware program i can run or another way of doing it?

Nice Little Tool For Entering BootLoader
Ok give this a Try it was Originally for Polaris but it works with my prophet so i am assuming it works with other htc devices ,Install the cab then run Enter BootLoader from programs\tools folder (no button pressing needed)

i cant enter the bootloader mode... i think my hima is brick when i try to enter to bootloader mode nothings happen(power dpad reset)... but when i do a hard reset(power + reset) its a whitescreen and i cant see anything... do you have any adie what to do mith my hima.. please need help... thanks

NOW THE PROBLEM IS...
1. MY DEVICE BUTTONS(HARD KEYS) NOT WORKING BUT I CAN MAKE THE DEVICE IN BOOTLOADER (TRICOLOR) MODE BY PRESSING CAMERA + POWER BUTTON.
2. AFTER INSTALLING A ROM WHENEVER MY DEVICE STARTS IT SHOWS THE HARD RESET SCREEN (BLACK SCREEN........... ALL THE DATA ...BLAH BLAB......)
I HAVE TO REMOVE THE BATTERY AND START THE DEVICE AFTER 30 MINS.) PLEASE NEED THE SOLUTION ......

if u can get ur tricolor screen then try this
connect the usb cable to pc and see if u get the USB words on the phone tricolor screen if so good try flashing any official ROM the same happened to my phone long back did the above got my phone back asuming u have done HSPL for ur phone if u have not done that then the only way is to take it to service

Wrong forum.. Touch P3450 is not a touch 3g , its the original touch (ELF version)
but i will try and help as i have owned both.
if your hardware buttons are not working it could be possible that your send and end keys are stuck down as this key combo brings up the hard reset you are talking about.
think you are going to have to open it as it sounds like a hardware fault, and if you cannot get into bootloader you cannot flash
if it was working alright before this is not the case, but either way you will have to fix your camera button and get into bootloader
