Hi guys..
Pls dun flame me if this is wrong post in the forum.....i have searched thru the forum for a working download for msn messenger...i was previously using a 838pro but had recently changed to samsung i600 which doesnt come with msn messenger installed. Hence i like to seek help from any of u out there who knows where i can get a working program. i600 is using wm5 smartphone edition.
Pls kindly advise
just use IM+ or Agile messenger, they do all common messenger services.
or you can use the web based chat messengers like www.ebuddy.com which has a wap portal.
thanks for the quick response....i am looking for free program........these two needs to pay....
Come on already!
Indeed you are posting in the wrong forum. Have you searched the forum with Google?
The Cabs that you get in this forum may not work on your smartphone.
You do realise that you're on a HERMES forum, which is a PocketPC ya?
Please use forum search.
I posted on this very topic a couple of weeks ago.

Wow. Virtually no punctuation....
OK...
If you had searched the forums first you may not have needed to post. Agile Messenger is a good replacement that lets you use Yahoo, AIM as well as MSN.
What kind of downloads are you referring to? Free software? Legitimate software? There are several sites you can use, search for them in Google (ie "freeware pocket pc"). If you mean commercial software, then you can get free (often time-limited) trials at places like www.handango.com and www.pocketgear.com .
Cheers

where do i get
hi there thanx for your help but you never said where I can get hold of agile messenger from and is it free and yes I'm looking for any software that is free for my mda pro with windows 5.0 I can't seem to find them or when I do and download them it says on my mda pro this is not a pocket pc app so it will not run or work on here any help plz thanx mono33
Hi mono,
when Anton reacted to your mail he nicely pointed out that your way of writing is not nice. Please use dots (.) comma's (,) etc. etc. ([email protected]#$%^) whereever needed. Also use Enter. In this way You can have your mail looking better to read.
Do NOT check Submit immediately. First check Preview, so You can see if it worked like You wanted. If You see a good result, then use Submit.
I, for one, do not like to answer persons who repeatedly write in such way as You do here.
regards,
Ruud

You could just have searched Google for "Agile Messenger" and for free software, as I suggested originally.
http://www.freewareppc.com/ - first result on "freeware pocket pc" in Google
http://www.agilemobile.com/ - first result (and 2nd and 3rd) when on "agile messenger" in Google
I would suggest you need to read your manuals as they explain to you how to install a program you download from the internet. There are two methods: via the PC and Activesync, or by directly installing the .cab files that contain the programs.

Hi all,
I have just purchased a TyTN locked by SFR in replacement for my old XDA II and I would like to use MSN Messenger on it......... as I was doing on my XDA II............ But I cannot find it anywhere.
Do I have to pay for that MSN Pocket service ?
I cannot believe it if I have to do that.
Thanks in advance
Forget about it... I have found. You can close this topic
I have the same problem. Where have you found it?
Vodafone remove MSN/Messenger stuff from their roms.
Hi everybody iam newb i want to know how can i install yahoo messenger on my 8525 unlocked using on t-mobile thanks in advance.
There are some great multiprotocol IM programs out there for windows mobile but if you are looking for the official yahoo mobile client try this link:
http://messenger.yahoo.com/mobile.php
what u mean by official i have to pay for it.what r the other options ur talking abt thanks for ur reply please tel me
Official means its actually made by Yahoo. Use a dictionary... I don't know if you have to pay, I guess if you are sending through sms or if you are using your data plan, yes.
Agile, IM+ are multi-protocol clients that can be used as alternatives. Use the search function of the forum to find posts on these or use Google please.
Hey thanks for ur reply iam on t-mobile & iam using t-zones setting to browse internet will this work for me .
I have no clue, it only takes a few minutes to try. If you have problems, search Google or the forum here.
it should work...uv gotta try it, dnt b afraid to actually do stuff. and if all else fails u can prob use the one at&t offers...yes its free...unless u liv in a place tht they tax...but try it out or as stated before GOOGLE uv gotta do ur own research.
I have searched the forums but i cannot find anything about Yahoo messenger for the Rhodium. I see some that work on the Tytn but tried that file 2 install. Without any luck.
So my question is. Does anybody can help me with YM for the TP2 ??
Hi,
You could try Beejive. It is a good multi-platform IM application that some chefs include in their cooked ROMs. I have been using it and really like the interface. There is a free beta that you can download from the Beejive web site: http://www.beejive.com/

I use ProfiMail all the time.
I use FlexMail 4.1 from www.webis.net
Try it on evaluation.
