Yahoo messenger - Touch Pro2, Tilt 2 Themes and Apps

I have searched the forums but i cannot find anything about Yahoo messenger for the Rhodium. I see some that work on the Tytn but tried that file 2 install. Without any luck.
So my question is. Does anybody can help me with YM for the TP2 ??

Hi,
You could try Beejive. It is a good multi-platform IM application that some chefs include in their cooked ROMs. I have been using it and really like the interface. There is a free beta that you can download from the Beejive web site: http://www.beejive.com/

AOL Instant Messenger on WM 5.0

So I've tried using the latest (albeit quite old) AOL Instant Messenger on WM5.0 and it doesn't like the soft buttons which renders the program useless. What are people out there using for AOL IM clients on WM5.0? I tried Agile Messenger, but you cannot check away messages with this software. Thanks for your suggestions!

ive looked into some diffrent messangers and fount that agile is the best,

i also find the tabed messages useful,
but i do find that checking for away messages can be a pain, b/c u have to message the person,
but apart from others this is still the best i have found...
if any one else found a better messanger plz let me know

Is it possible to download Yahoo Messenger?

Am trying to set up Yahoo Messenger on my Exec, but keep getting message that browser does not support this version of Yahoo Messenger with BT communicator...it requires IE 5.5 or higher. Is it possible to install Yahoo IM and if so does anyone know how? Many thanks
I dont think Yahoo is supported on the pocket pc platform at present.
Agile messenger would let you use the Yahoo contacts list and instant messaging but I think thats it.
Some one posted this recently, might help. It's not the official Yahoo! Messenger tho :

You also have Agile Messenger. Not using it at the moment myself, have done in the past and it is quite good.
Its another multi-messenger application, does yahoo and msn and a few more.

messenger for Mogul
I've been using iMov Messenger, handles GoogleTalk, ICQ, MSN, AIM, Yahoo Msgr. works great, never had any trouble with it. you sign in to one of many different jabber servers they have listed on their site, usually the default one works best. follow this link to their site-

[edit] I personally have used both the AIM and Yahoo with this program, both worked great.
palringo is nice as well.

Aim/Yahoo/Msn on the Mogul Reply to Thread
The IM program from the htc Touch is called oz messanger (attached). I tried running the cab file on my Mogul but it fails with this error message "The MD5 digests do not match (code: 403). I have no clue what this means. It will be great if someoone can figure it out.

I posted the same question over at ppcgeeks and someone said that that application is coded just for the touch. Thats what the error means. Yeah, i wish it came with the mogul as well.
try using Slick v0.32 which is free and can be found at http://www.51spsoft.com/downinfo/28338.html or you can also find it at freewarepocketpc.com as well
Man, i have tried 3rd party aim, but i love the one on the touch, it cant be beat!

I might try this out. Palringo has been giving me problems with AIM lately.
Octrotalk..
i think its octro.net or .com
I get the same "The MD5 digests do not match (code: 403)" error. Has anyone got the OZ messanger working on the mogul?
I have tried fringo and IM+. The problem I have is that when I call or get a call it switches to 1X and logs me out of the programs. They try to reconnect but I am still in a call.
Are any of these programs smart enough to realized when a call is over and they can reconnect?

Instant messeging app

Hey everyone, I am looking for a app that contains AOL instant messenger in it. I have tried beejive but it does not work with my wm 6.5 rom as I always get errors. The AIM app from AOL is also buggy so I was wondering if anyone knew another app that works well?
Also, I was playing around with an old samsung phone and noticed that it had access to the AIM client without having the need of an internet connection. Is there an app sort of like this for the blackstone?
Try IM+ or Fring (the later is free)
thanks for the info..tried those two but aren't really my style. Has anyone been able to get beejive working for dutty's 6.5 rom?
