show battery status on Today screen?

Hi guys first post! Just got O2 XDA mini S and used hard reset to go to corporate settings but have now lost battery status which shows %age power left (I found it quite useful). Any ideas how to get it back?

Use some Today plugin, ie. iLauncher from SBSH.
And: does anyone know the program that will be able to show the estimated 'time to live' on the battery or ltime left to the next charging? I had something like this on my old motorola MPx200. It wasn't too acurate, but also quite useful.

In the Windows folder on your phone, find a file called PowerTray and copy it to the StartUp folder in the Windows folder.

You can use Batti, a small application shows ajustable bar
on top of screen and it is free...

I don't understand why people can't get the one that was there... back.
I mean, it was there!

Why use Corporate?
Why not use Basic, then you get the battery bar, all the GPRS/MMS settings, etc. and performance is good.

But not as good as corporate! Plus, it's just nice not to have ANY O2 rubbish on the phone ... except the splash screen (still working on it) and the logo on the casing (guess I'll have to live with that one)!

Tmobile settings: where can I find them

So, you hard reset your device, you do the softreset to avoid all the branding rubbish and .... your phone won't work because you don't know the password to the internet connection settings and so on.
Question is: where can I find the t-mobile settings, web and walk included?

There is a website I found recently called Google.com . It's some kind of search engine. If you enter "t-mobile uk gprs" and hit search it comes up with loads of links. not sure if the first one helps. Try it out.

Ah-ha. You must feel like a big man now.
Plus, you're wrong, they are not that easy to find. Looking at the first links on the search string you gave, they all list the username for the t-mob connection as being 'user', whereas mine is 't-mobile'.

Hi guys, thanks very much for all the replies!
Signed_UNI_TMO_Connection_112100.CAB did the trick. I didn't seem to need the other file (MMS settings). The only other file I had to fish out of the extended rom is the long_dtmf one. If you don't put that on and try to dial a number, the phone hangs on keypresses :lol:
I'll let you know if I see any other required cab I might have missed. So far the phone is behaving slightly faster - not as big of a difference as I've seen on the O2 branded ones (which hurt from all the crap 02 leaves on them).

if U want to not install branding rubbish, after calibrating touch screen, ppc starts installig. U've got some 3seconds to softreset(small black hole below usb connector) press it and trick is done. Other way use ext_rom unlocker (www.buzzdev.net) remove or move (move is better, there are gprs,mms and other settings in .cab files, U'll figure it out which of them U need) all **** from ext_rom and hard reset

Location Based Information - Cell Lookup

I have a hermes and wasnt to use PhoneAlarm to switch profiles depending on the cell that I am in.
I have got the app working but no cell information is coming up.
I did read somewhere that you have to change a couple of registry values to "de-restrict" the phone to allow this information to work.
Any ideas anyone?
Please let me know of anything else I can try to get this working....

I havent done any reg tweaks to get it working...the location system must be enabled by ticking the box, then you must go through a kind of TRAINING period where you assign the cells you travel through to different locations, home...work etc..., in the automatic profile switching part of phonealarm (the orange icon in the profiles section) thats where you say what to do when you are in a certain location (again...home...work etc).
Works a treat on my TyTN.
P.S: You must have the full purchased version for it to work.

I have the full version. I am doing the following but it isn't showing an cell information:-
Under Options goto Addon
Select Location Service
Click Setup
Nothing displayed in Time/CellID or Group
Click Edit Groups
Click Groups drop down box - Nothing listed
Click Add, doesn't do anything..
I am missing something or doing something wrong. Surely it would pick up the cell that I am currently in?

The location based switching doesnt work unless you pay for it. But its a great program i recommend buying it

If you even bother to search you would have found at least three programs that do exactly that. 2 of them are better than CLauncher. Heck, I have one running on right now.
Am I going to tell you? Nah? Can't deal with NOOBS who expect that everyone is going to drop everything for them just like because they are lazy.
So go do yourself a favour, search and you will find.

[APP]Stocker - finger friendly stock tracker

This is a finger friendly stock tracker. You will need CFNET3.5. While not specific to the Diamond, I have not tested this on any other device but my Diamond. Its should work on qvga devices, but I have not tried it yet. Leave suggestions in this thread, as I will monitor it. Play and have fun.

I am from Germany. We use dfferent Numbers etc.
Anyway the program idea is great.

I have only tested it using us market symbols. let me investigate Germany's symbols.

Not sure what the problem would be. My Diamond always has GPRS on, so let me see if I can disconnect it, then run Stocker.

nice idea - i do suggest adding an exit program option to settings.

thanks for your app, however Its not of much use to me...
I have entered different stock symbols, with dot or comma (kat.ca / kat,ca) but its just not able to get any infos from the net... not even the gold price is trackable (xau,co), is it only grabbing wallstreet info?
It would be great if you could implement more markets, is that possible?

Same problem with my Samsung Omnia. Tried german and us symbols. only says N/A...

Been looking for something like this...have any screen prints? Does it track multiple tickers at once, or must enter one ticker at a time? I'm looking for at least 12 tickers to update when requested.

View Details of Stock & deleting stocks
Hi,
I've been using this application for past 2-3weeks and I like it a lot. It gives me instant information about the Indian stocks & markets.
However, I have couple of issues.
1. How can I view the details of the stock? In Softpedia, there are screen shots of the application displaying details like stock graph, day low/high, etc. But, I'm not able to get this screen.
2. I've entered some wrong stock code which I'd like to delete. However, pressing the delete button in the menu does not do anything.
