Hi Guys,
Firstly, I've just got my O2 XDA and using the unlocking software I've now got my Vodafone SIM working, so top site!! 8)
I've got a very old Sony-Ericsson bluetooth headset (HBH-10) which I've had for years. I can find the headset when I search for it on the XDA, but I can't seem to get pass the bonding password. I've reset the headset to 0000, but it fails to bond.
The bluetooth on the XDA is fine as I've got it to bond with my laptop.
Any suggestions are most welcome!
Cheers - James
have you installed the bluetooth tools ?

Hi People!
My first message at this board!
I hope you can help me solving the following problem:
I can not establish a Bluetooth connection between the O2 XDA Mini S and the Adapt AD-500 GPS Bluetooth Mouse.
The GPS Receiver is detected by the Wizard but with an "?" in front of its name.
The Bluetooth key is accepted and i made in and outgoing comports but the connection is still not funktioning (no connection recognized by the GPS receiver).
I looked in the WM 5 help on the wizard and it told to do some changes in the settings / gps menue. But there is no gps menue!
Is it because i have no navigation software installed till now? For me it sounds that WM 5 has this gps menue regularly but i can not find it in the settings.
It would be very nice if someone could help me connecting the receiver to my wizard because i dont know how to go on.
Heeelllllpppp!
Kind regards
Carsten
Hi, Please help.
My problem is this, i have a bt-q880 bluetooth gps reciever. I am trying to pair it with my xda mini s but it wont pair. When i search for the device it can see it and it looks like it should work but my pairing light keeps flashing. I've tried pocket gps tools to no avail the little clock stays greyed out. it also doesnt ask me for the code to pair. I have tried the reciever with a nokia 7600 and it all works ok (pairs and lkight goes solid), it just wont pair with the xda mini s. Any help MUCH appreciated.
bump ? anyone ?
I bought a bluetooth GPS receiver off of ebay and when I could not make it work with my XDA I investigated and then learnt that there is somehting missing with Himalaya's blue tooth manager. I also discovered that "pocket bluetooth tools" solves the problem.
So I hurriedly downloaded and installed it but when I connect to my GPS, XDA bluetooth manager reports a connection but no communication. At this point "pocket ....." is suppose to kick in and offer me a second screen with connection options. But it does not.
Has any one uses this utility, or got GPS serial (SPP) working, or can inform me of an alternative. Help is as usuall appreciated.
PS: my hardware is OK since XDA works with my handsfree unit.
regards.
