I'have seen the program you wrote. Obviously, you understand well Outlook Mobile .... So i sayed myself you could probably help me :
Under pocket outlook, I am not able to create any new account. I run WM6.
When I go to the screen where you manage accounts, I have the Outlook account, and the "New account" Line. When I click it : nothing happens .....
Do you have an idea and a fix for that ?
Notice that I am not alone with this problem, I have found various posts on the web reporting the same issue, but no solution.

Solve the "New Account" problem
This problem is solve when the registry key (HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Inbox\Svc\SMS) is deleted after Garmin XT is installed.

E-mail account problem?!

After soft reset my e-mail account disappear, after that I tried to create new account but I can't because it giving me message that account aleready exist, but it is not on my list.
When I create same account with different name it's ok, but then I don't have my e-mail messages from missing account
Please help me.

I am using WM 6 Pro CE OS 5.2.2000 (Build 20000.1.0.0.PV.HAT)

How to backup email settings?

Hi guys, I've searched the forum without results... to find a way save email settings (multiple accounts) in order to save time whn flashin a new rom.
Is there any cab, script etc that can do such a thing?

try spb backup 2.1.0(only this version works right in HD2) and take a pim backup with "email" tab checked too

do you think won't be problems in restore with "sbp backup" email settings ovn a completely new rom?

you have to try it...after flashing a new rom and after hard reseting the rom,try to restore them.

Can this work with an Exchange account? Could you help with this just a little . So once I create the XML provisioning file with the right settings, what do I do with it?

help with missing sms account on wm2003

i ve got problems with my backup i restored after hardresetting ipaq 6340.
the sms-account is missing after restore... even in active sync theres no possibility to sync mailbox because it not possible to select!
i tryed to get the network information from my provider under > program files \phone\sevices\mms and sms to reaktivate sms account - but the sms account still not appears in > mailbox\accounts\accounts\sms,mms,mail. i cant setup a new sms account because the system is only asking for emailaccount to built... :-(((
has annybody got an idea how to repair the sms account without reinstalling the whole system ????????? is there a possibility to delete or overwrite certain coruppted files where the informaition for the accounts is stored or any other way to fix this ????
would be nice if someone could help me - otherwise i ve got to overkill the system and reinstall the whole PDA from the bottem up...

Well I got my 10 year old son Nokia 6 TA-1021 recently ...
My mistake i didnt help him set it up and he created new email address and while setting up pattern he forgot the pattern ....
anyhow, i stepped in and did a hard reset from recovery ...
issue is ... now startup is stuck at "The device was reset. To continue, sign in with google account that was previously synced on this device" ...
and he has no idea what email address .... he does remember the password .. there was no backup phone number or email address setup ...
What are my options ?
How can I get email address name ? Or is there any way to skip that ? There are some videos on youtube to bypass it but none works ...
Can I contact google to just get the email account ?
What if I install stock rom ? Will it fix this ?
Any suggestion will be appreciated ..

well you might try and reset the password of the email by putting the right answers to the questions
you can do this by signing in gmail and put the email and click forgotten password then it will show you questions you need answer like when did you create the google account etc. good luck
Edit i just read it and it was the email so i think the only thing you can do is go for the service center
