Hi:
I downloaded this file from
http://www.europe.htc.com/support/software/htcp3600.html
When I install it, it says I already have the driver, and this message shows on both WM5 and WM6.
anyone knows how to crack this file?
Thanks.
You don't have to crak it if you've already have it ...
And what's the relationship with WM6 ??
but according to other phone user (not on my trinity), they can install the driver, and it support listen to mp3 when in sleep mode. Without install the driver, this function is not working properly.
I tried and i have the same message. But i'm not sure as you are that you could listen mp3 in sleep mode !! It didn't work for me neither !!

It doesn't seem to work for me either.
But there must be some way that we should be able to play MP3 while the screen is off !
Yes you can : if you're using WMP "Menu" / "Options" / "Buttons" and after you can choice a spécific button to swith off the screen !
Tank ! worked for me !!
You're welcome l'ami ...

Hi everybody,
I own a HTC P3600 (under the S300+ brand) and despite a lot of attempt to setup a bluetooth connection it seems that the hardware is not recognized at all.
I have the message "there is no bluetooth hardware installed" and each time i check the BT box "activate BT" when i switch back to the activaton tab the option is unchecked. When i try to scan other devices i have an error message "problem with the bluetooth hardware"
I thought i could find a software that could verify the hardware configuration like the one we have on win XP or a driver i could install over the actual configuration but i didnt find anything.
At first the internal GPS didnt work as well but after i flashed the OS with the original OS version + the radio extension V1.48 it now works fine. However i would like to use my external BT GPS (sirf III) which is more accurate and efficient.
I'm really desperate and dont know what to do to activate the BT.
i tried hardware and soft reset, even an OS upgrade (WM6) without results.
If anyone has an idea of what i could do to test the hardware to verify if the BT is dead or if its related to a software problem.
Just one more bump and if nobody has any idea well then i give up..

Its working now. Didn't work if download it cab file directly from the website, but setup through pc worked.
Same here, the sound comes out from the speaker on the back, then I put on the headphone, worked like a charm
Skype and Xperia X1
Have tried installing skype (version 2.2045) using both direct pc and .cab file methods. In both cases, I get the error: couldn't find all the necessary files to start skype. please try to install skype again. skype will now close."
No luck after trying again (several times!). Grateful for suggestions.

It works, but you'll get the sound through speaker. If you want ot solve this, ther is a thread which has a solution for it.
I've got some troubles
1. Downloaded "Skype 2.5 Beta for Windows Mobile" for PC installation exe file from skype.com
2. installation runs properly and soft installed on "\Speicherkarte" (I've got German version of X1).
3. account created, login to skype Ok
4. WiFi up and running
5. skype is running, add contact is fine as well
6. call contact ---> application crash
what to do, how to fix it?
PS. all about this "Current Pocket PC version: 2.5.0.108. Release date: December 9, 2008."

so when we dl from the link that u listed, we dl the pocket pc version?????
cuz when i checked on the site they said that x1 is a smartphone...
sry im kinda lost..
The last version i tested of skype on X1 worked, called, but sound is being routed to the speaker!
there was one small program, Troca2 (search for it) which will route the voice to the earpiece. but don't leave it running after you finish, as everything will be routed to the earpiece including ringing and notifications.
instead of skype, you can use fring, using your mobile, connect to the internet (WiFi or Active Sync doesn't matter), go to www.fring.com from internet explorer and download the application.
once you set it up, register and do all the configuration correctly of skype, go to the options and check the Use Earpiece option.
Fring is working perfectly for me
cheers
Fring works great for me, too. I am using version 3.34, but I heard there is a 3.5 out there now. The only thing I don't like is that the system lags during login, especially if you have a lot of people on your buddy list.
Fring worked with me as well
Fring worked with me fine as well, and the sound came out of the speaker..
Hi guys,
Just connected the HD to a new Columbus radio system using rSAP.
First of all, I am not the one who made the .cab file needed, I simply followed the instructions on this site, and fiddled around a bit:
http://briskoda.net/superb-ii/howto...us-rns510-using-non-compatible-mobile/131709/
Here's what I did to get it working:
1) Download the .cab files from the above mentioned thread
2) Install .net compact framework 3.5
3) Install the BT_sap.cab file, it will say installation failed, but just ignore that..
4) Using file explorer, find "SAP settings" in the windows folder and click it.
5) Go to start => settings => connections => bluetooth and turn on bluetooth and make your device visible.
6) Uncheck the authentication or password box, then check the box that says "remote sim acces"
7) Connect to the radio.
That's all folks
Hope it works for you, please write your findings here.

Question :
What happens to your phone after you leave your car ?
With my diamond, the phone does not login to any network after SAP disconnects , I have to reset the device or turn off/on the phone from the communication manager :-(
Otherwise , it's working fine though

I've got the same problem. It went away for a while and my phone reconnected normally. But recently I had to soft reset my phone and the trouble has started all over again.
Has anyone resolved this issue? I did manage to get it working earlier (but I don't know how), so there must be a resolution to it.

Same here.I installed an Energy rom and connected the phone to car, after i leave the car, the phone doesnt turns on, just need to soft reset it.
On my Touch Dual, i had installed a BT_SAP.cab file, and worked perfectly, everytime i left the car, the phone turned the network on.
Still no solution to Blackstone ?

my bluetooth wont turn on, says somthing about BTmanager not a valid aplication! any ideas how to rectify this issue?
Bump, this is stressing me out now!?
what rom version are you using? have you altered any reg settings or installed tweaking applications? btmanager not a valid win32 app may be caused by a hardware error as well.
what i'd try first = soft reset + check again > hard reset + check again > remove and add bt devices again + check again.

did you install tom tom?
Hi,
Yes I have installed TomTom and now have this issue.
Do you know a fix?
Of course, I would like to keep TomTom
** P.S ** Appologies for digging up an old thread.
Mike
With the help of Google, I found the fix, please see below:
This Fix also works on the HTC HD2. (HTC Leo)
Although I could not delete \Windows\BtCoreIf.dll
but it did rename and fixed all the issues.
Errors that show up are after installing TOM TOM 7.
On Restart.
BTTrayCE is not a valid Pocket PC application
When trying to open Bluetooth
BTManager is not a valid Pocket PC application
and for info on HTC HD2, GPS PORT is COM 4.
