OK here is the story.. my friend sold me a wiza100 8125 from cingular.. he was using it for T-mobile so it must be unlocked.. he decided to install the cingular rom since it was locking up.. it says it loads 100 % but then it turns on but we cant get past the Tap align screen.. need help guys.. do we need a special ROM to make it work again? does it have to be modified to work with t-mobile? Where can i find the rom to make it work?

be more specific with what happens..... also, try a hard reset while you're at it.
You have a G4 phone. Try flashing the Wizard Love ROM (which will work on both a G3 or G4) and then go to the Wizard G4 subforum for more information on how to flash a different ROM for the phone.
Also, you need to ask your friend if he paid to have the phone unlocked. That's the only way to unlock a G4. It can't be done with Lokiwiz.
Ok here is my problem... I have alrady installed three different ROMs and they all do the same thing.. The load 100 percent and it says the phone is ready but i can get past the align screen. Where its says to tap the target firmly. I tap the 5 targets but then it starts all over again. its like in a loop cant get past that align screen.. ant tips?

any help that any one can offer would be great. First off what had happen was that I was installing a new rom onto my G3 Wizard, the after it was complete the phone restarted but didn't get passed the loading windows screen. On top of that, now when I connect my phone the to the computer activesync doesn't read the phone or charge the battery. Is there anything I could do to fix this.

Cingular,, Duuh.. You should always get original rom of the phone's provider.. If its an Original HTC.. Get HTC.. If its Cingular.. Get Cingular,, and so on..

Ok i was trying to get XM6 on it. And i got the error code 300 so i tryed this other rom to make it work"ROMUpdateUtility_Wizard_NoID" and now when i turn my phone on it just go straight to the 3 color dos looking screen it shows my IPL and SPL and thats it, i cant get out of it please help me !

U are in bootloder mode. Thats fine. U didnt bricked ur phone. Now u can softreset ur mobile. By infrared eye u will see a hole and with your pen restart ur device.
BUT FIRST you have to know if u have G3 or G4 model. if your ipl/spl is 2.21.0001 - with 3 zeros than u have g4. READ ALL ABOUT G4, cause if u use rom for g3 or any rom which isnt for wizard OR ANY ROM WHICH contains IPL/SPL u are SCREWED UP. YOUR mobile will die and u could just throw it away.
SAFE ROMS for g4 are: NBD, faria, OCTAIVOI's etc. See a few on this link: http://wiki.xda-developers.com/index.php?pagename=wizard_WM_6
AND you should also read ALL about sSPL method - GREAT, FANTASTIC WAY TO FLASH YOUR G4.

Ok i should have a G4 myILP is 2.26.0001 my SPL is 2.26.0001 and when i soft restart it it goes back everytime to the boot screen the 3 color thingy. i just dont know what to do, plz pretty plz help./ Whats the next step

Try flashing your operator's official rom back into the phone to begin with. That should get you at least a working phone again.
Check the XDA-Wiki (button on top of this screen) on the Wizard section how to troubleshoot or unbrick your phone
Ok i got it back to facotry reinstalled the tmboile software from the website but to give a heads up i have cingular useing a tmobile phone so its already unlocked. ok now i need to find away to install XDA Mobile 6.0.0. now quick question is this as close i can get to the windows mboile 6 eye candy, but thanks atlist i got my phone back up and running but can some 1 tell me the files i need to get started on XDA Mobile 6.0.0.

Ok this is what happends i tryed to install XDA Mobile 6.0.0 and put the file ROMUpdateUtility_Wizard_NoID in the folder and click ROMUpdateUtility_Wizard_NoID and it installs and when it gets done it goes right back to the 3 color screen. am i doing something wrong, reason i use ROMUpdateUtility_Wizard_NoID is because i get error 300 with out it when i try the XDA Mobile 6.0.0 normaly.
below is an email i sent to faria seeking his help, i also decided to post it on the forum, in cae anyone else has some ideas, and in the event the problem gets solved the information is here for someone else who needs it

so im assuming that is the conflict keeping it from booting up properly, i can easily access the boot loader and flash almost any rom available.
my main issue is this, from what i gather, i need to bring the IPL up to at least 2 for it to be compatable, but any rom i try to flash that acctully replaces the ipl gives me , i belive an error 300 and says the updater tool is to old, so do you know any way i can update the IPL so it works.

Is it CID locked? I saw that message a lot when I had mismatched SPL/IPL and the CID was locked. Try running an older version of lokiwiz, it can unlock that combination (lokiwiz2b couldn't do it, but something from around October last year could).
Then try button ROM or an OEM ROM.
$40 is not bad at all, even with a broken LCD.
thanks you for the response i actully saw that post my self, but becuase of the fact that it doesnt boot beyond the splash screen i cant run active sync to use lokwiz , unless there is a way to run it without active sync and at the bootloader.

u could always try a hard reset commanager and voice commander and then press on button and then press send once message comes up

HOWSEVER IT WAS SHOWING AS ONLY UPDATING BAR WAS SHOWN WITH ZERO PERCENT UPDATE FINISHED ON THE LAPTOP SCREEN NO RESPONSE ON DEVICE AND THEN A RECOVERY SCREEN APPEARED WHICH PROMPTED TO REMOVE THE BATTERY AND REINSTALL AFTER A FEW SECONDS BUT TO NO AVAIL,

If you really had a G4 device and you did all of the above then you have bricked it. G4's cannot be CID Unlocked via lociwiz (unless something recently changed), and flashing IPL/SPL 3.08 is NOT compatible to a G4 device and that will brick it.
Sorry, but you shouldn't flash a phone (especially if its not even yours) if you don't understand what you are doing. Without further details (and please don't use all caps. I don't care how "scared" you are) there is nothing else anyone here can do to help you. You need to give complete details of what the phone does now. If you can get to (and see) the tri color screen, then its probably recoverable. If the phone won't turn on, then its probably bricked.
Can I ask why you were flashing your brother's phone? Did you have permission?

Like my previous post, how about some details. Does the phone go to the Bootloader (tri color) screen? If it does, what are the numbers and info on that screen?
I loaded some huge apps to my storage card tried to use the app. which froze my device. the wizard turns on. but shows the first screen with the phone info. then the second screen that say windows mobile. but it always stay on the second screen
I'd just use the terra thing to format it completely and reflash to a new rom
My heads spinning from all the information aka post and threads, but im still stuck like my wizard on the 2nd splash screen.
I wasnt trying to upgrade the rom jst clear storage but after everything ive read i would like to upgrade to wm6 but first i want to get my wizard working.
I tried backing up the rom to the sd card but I get "You didn't get the proper security level to download a specific image" So i take it my wizard is cid locked.
My IPL:1.01 and SPL:1.06 does that mean its a g3. My activesync 4.5 doesnt pick up my wizard is it because it cant boot, i tried with it in bootloader mode still doesnt pick it up.
So plz point me in the right direction to fix my wizard
ok i think the place where im stuck at is cid unlocking my wizard with out using that imei site. any help or is there another way to do this.
This helped me when I was stuck on the first screen. For some reason, the Radio file was gone. Follow this exactly, it works. In my case (sounds like yours also), at the end of this you will at least have access to the phone again.

After your done. You will have a RGB screen, then follow these directions to load a base rom and unlock so you can keep going until you ca load WM6.1.

I've had many, many problems over the last 3 days trying to do this. I completed it all in less than a day, but when I used the phone it had terrible reception. I completely downgraded everything back to square one. Still bad phone reception. I was about to through it out the window, when someone called my wife's cell phone and she also had bad reception. I then put my sim in another phone, same problem. Well, at&t has a tower down for the last 3 days. What timing, it seems to work when not at home, but hard to test that way Anyway, moral of the story is. Don't give up, keep plugging along.

If you can start your Wizard in bootloader, and it says "usb" in the lower-left, you can flash your original ROM. An active sync connection is not needed. Search for your carrier's ROM if you don't have it and I'd recommend the "no carrier ID" version of the RUU.
Have you tried a 'Hard Reset',hope it'll work,if it boots up into working OS and it already has IPL/SPL 1.xx,use lokiwiz02b tool to SIM/CID unlock the phone and than upgrade.
If it doesn't work still after Hard Reset,most probably,its Extended_Rom is corrupted,its required to reflash a new rom.
Activesync doesn't work in absence of a working OS and in Bootloaders mode.Its not required for flashing a rom.Just get the phone into Bootloaders and hook the phone with pc via usb cable and watch small usb appear at the bottom of the bootloader screen,if its there,it good to go and flash the rom.
ok so i downloaded the button rom finally but how do i flash it to my wizard.
Get your phone in Bootloaders,hook up the phone with pc via usb,watch small usb appear at the bottom of the Bootloader screen,if its there run the 'RUU' application,it'll start to flash,it stops at a certain percentage,don't get worried and do anything,after a couple of minutes it starts again,let it complete 100%,the phone'll restart and boot up in new OS.

So after lots and lots and lots more reading i realized i dont need a ruu. all i need to do is get into bootloader mode plug in the usb and run the wizard button rom. It worked perfectly my wizard is back to life yip pee.
