IMHO, why not. try using BTIO (provide in http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=307220 )
and set the audio outputs on "Audio2BT".
If it's okay, please give us feedback.

It's definately possible, either by connecting to your BT headset using the supplied comm manager or using BTIO. Works well too.

I have the HT820 and got no problems like you, I do have the problem that outgoing calls automatically use ht820, but incoming calls the speaker on the phone. Music works fine.

Handsfree versus headset
Hi,
I tried and first thing, everything work now as fine as before so a first good point.
Second one problem : my Bluespoon AX is only recognize as a Hands-free and you can only set "Audio redirection" for Headset.
Perhaps some registry work ?
I will continue to investigate

some extinsive testing is required however... I'll let you know later
Thank you kevinyang6688

INstalled it but I have no clue how to make it work. Been to the BT settings and everything is there but I have no clue to as it does not detect my my Jabra BT250V.
Will this work in actually turning my Jabra into an audio headset or is it only as phone headset?
Does this help at all with the Nokia car kit echo issue?
Cheers
i'm using O2 mini. After installed... Nothing shown in the "Default headset" drop-down-list-box of the Audio tab
Anyone having similar issue?

Man, you seriously kick a$$! This cab adds A2DP, FTP (successfully sent a series of 3 files to my Magician   ), Audio Gateway (was able to use my laptop as a BT handsfree ), BT Printing Profile... AWESOME!!! Takes MS BT stack to a whole new level
But you could already send files with activesync over bluetooth without this stack (do i suppose ftp service is the same thing). Btw can you acces the files located on your computer from your mini now??? (if yes plz tell me how)
As far as I am concerned, it works but doesn t change anything with my bluetooth headset and voice command, i always don t hear any voice command sound in my bt headset, but then I hear the phone conversation directly in the headset...so nothing has changed.
Would have loved so much to hear and launch voice commands directly from the headset's mic.
But thx anyway! that s a really good thing for us anyway =)
It does work with I-tech S35 Stereo BT Headset
As per subject really...
Just tested this on my 1.12.00 T-Mobile Rom and indeed all audio is indeed being re-directed to my headset. Only 'drawback' is that I can't get it to work with PocketMind Pocket Music- the sound it just muted.
But it works perfectly well with Windows Media Player. Slight hitch with WMP is that I am unable to change the volume on the software or indeed the JAM system volume directly- a minor fault for me since I have a volume control my headset Also the music seems to cut out for a second or so every 7-8 seconds.
Music pauses and restarts when an incoming phone call is received.
A massive thanks goes out kevinyang6688. Cheers mate, I have been wanting this for ages! Thanks again!

streaming audio to a BT 20S

I have searched and found a cab file but it will not work with this make.
What i am after if possible is to be able to hear my music and hopefully Co-Pilot instructions via my bluetooth headset a BT 20S. The speacher on the phone is just a little quiet in my old car.
If i did miss a post with a solution i am sorry i did a search.
Thanks for reading

For Co-Pilot instructions and such, you won't need A2DP as it's not high-fidelity audio. That application in the link shoukd be satisfactory.
For stereo music and movies, you woukd need A2DP.

Which is the best voip application??
I wanna it running on my Touch....
I've already tried SjPhone..
But it uses the stereospeaker (not the internal one) and the partner gets bad echos while speaking....
Is there a way to make it use the internal speaker or could you suggest me a better app??

Use headset
I tried it with the standard HTC headset, it works very well....
But when I try to use it with my BLUETOOTH headset, it doesn't work....
I mean that if I call someone using the standard mode, it works correctly, but if I use SjPhone, the program uses the stereospeaker, not the bluetooth headset.......
Why??

btaudio.cab redirects audio from the system speaker(s) to a bt headset. may want to give that a shot.
yes, BTAUDIO.cab or search for "bluetooth toggle". Those will make it so all PPC audio go to the BT hdset, even when on just the BT headset profile.
Or if you sign up with a company like VOIP Raider or VOIPStunt.com, they have a phone-to-phone option that let you use your PHONE signal (not data) to make calls. there's a small connection fee (like 5 euro cents), but otherwise, it has the same cost as a regular call. this has the advantage of not relying on data and the connections are MUCH MUCH better for the phone call.
Not sure if this will do what you want, but it does work well if it meets your usage scenario.

Adventures in Bluetooth

Ok, I have the T-Mobile Tab, I have Skype and Google Voice working via 3G and Wifi but here is the issue...
I have tried 4 different wireless bluetooth headsets and they all react the same... They connect and pair with no issues BUT...
When you place a call the other callers voice is routed, as it should be, to the BT headset, however, my voice is not routed through the BT microphone and it uses the Tab's built in mic...
This is pretty unacceptable as you can imagine and pretty much defeats the purpose of a BT headset...
Any ideas, thoughts, or help on how to get the Tab to route voice via the BT headset as opposed to it's built in mic would be MUCH appreciated!!!!
Thanks in advance!
This was kind of discussed in another thread. Current thinking is that they modified the profile to not support a mic on the BT headset.
Until someone creates a patch, update or a custom rom, there probably won't be a solution.
This is the price we pay for getting the new toys right away. Once the dev's start rolling out the mods, I am sure it will be corrected.

Whilst this may be true for US Tabs, FWIW bluetooth headset profiles do not work with Skype on Euro Tabs either.
I've been trying it out this afternoon, and whilst my headset (well, wristset to be totally accurate) works fine for regular cellular calls, when I try to use Skype I only get audio out.
If I check the options for the connected device in the bluetooth settings, I have both Media and Phone profiles checked. If I uncheck Media, I no longer even get audio out with Skype (though regular phone calls still work ok on the headset), which shows that Skype is not using the Phone profile at all.
So, I suggest you look at the options for your bluetooth device to see if it even has the option for Phone. If it does, it seems that the headset profile is still there and it is actually Skype which is not using it.
Regards,
Dave
If you read some of the comments here, it seems that Skype for Android doesn't support bluetooth anyway.
Regards,
Dave
Thanks for the info man. I'll check it out on my Sprint GT.
Wonder if it's possible to put the Samsung Galaxy S BT on the Tab?
It is because the sound of these apps is being routed via the A2DP profile and not Headset provide is you are hearing the sound via the BT headset but the mic used is the Tab's

Since my headset didn't work with Skype at all with the Phone profile awhen I switched of the Media (A2DP) profile, I doubt a non-A2DP headset will help.
The problem is Skype doesn't use the phone profile.
Regards,
Dave
I dont think its limited to skype either. I tried two other programs last night, neither one had working mic.
Sent from my SGH-T849 using XDA App
BT works just fine within Skype when using it on my MacBook Pro and my iMac.... The only issues I am having is on the Tab...
I wonder if it would be possible to flash or install the euro BT .apk?

Why? Still won't work because the problem is with Skype on Android - it does not use the phone BT profile.

No BT Headset Profile in any of the US Galaxy Tabs
The reason that none of can use their Bluetooth headsets with a program like Skype (or better yet, Line2, which I am a beta tester for) is that the Amrican carriers ripped out the ability to use BT Headset profile. Now some headset (such as te Jabra Stone) uses Audio profile, so it will work with the GalaxyTab, but we definitely need someone to break that an hack in a great fix so that we can get Line2, install it on the Tab, then us Bluetooth Headsets to do our communcating. This because the best (and cheapest) phone/data device in the world at that point. Is anyone working on that?
