No, not available. Not technically possible (to record the call)

Why? I can record the call with windows note.
Read here:

and search around generally:

The magician does not permit recording of the audio path internally.
The rest of your request might be possible, but not a perfect solution on the Magician, due to technical limitations.

In this page http://www.pocketpcmag.com/blogs/in...onversations_on&more=1&c=1&tb=1&pb=1#comments is written:
Call recorder software needed! – a HTC Magician-related thread; here, here and here another. Some people say (this is not confirmed!) the Magician is able to record both parties if you only start recording (with any application) after the connection has been made and the conversation started.

I have i-mate jam and I am successed to record my voice and the voice of the person with which I spoke to telephone.
It is ok even if it records only externally. Is there a software?
Thanks
Try reading the thread I pointed to. Specifically, Menneisyys's post, which links to a review of pretty much all the software available for recording calls:

Hi Folks,
i'm owner of an XDA Trion, since last month.
So far im very glad with this device, but i have a few questsion about modifikations.
1)
Is there an alternative Dial software? I don't really like this Built in Software for making phone calls. In my opinion it is very slow and unhandy.
2)
I installed the MS Voice Commander. So far i like this programm, but how do i get it work with the std. USB-Headset of the xda? If i hold the button, the device starts the standard application for voice commands, which is not very helpfull...
So far, thanks for any hints.
Greetings
LordK

Unfortunelty does the Tutorial for getting Voice Command working with the Headset does only Work with a bluetooth headset
I need a way to get it work with the usb Headset.
Any Hints?
Best Regards
LordK
did you try EZDial?
I've just made a new app to allow you to use the headset button to launch any app. I'm going to integrate it into a few other hacks and will try to release soon.

Great
Thanks a lot so far
Hi guys
does anybody know of a good voice recording software I can put on the x1? I m mainly interested in recording lectures and interviews so I m looking at recording time of at least 1 or 2 hours without a break.
I came across some software earlier - Alexander Zavorine Mp3 Voice Recorder - which I installed but it keeps crashing my system. Every single time I tried it I had to take the battery out after to switch the phone off. cause it wouldnt react to nothing else
Any other good ideas? I ve been looking everywhere!
thanks

Check out Vito Audio Notes.

Carty..
thanks for your help guys! ... maybe I should rephrase my request though - ideally, the software would be free
I think there is an HTC voice recorder that is free.. I've never used it so i can't say how good it is or whether u can record for 1-2hrs but its worth a shot
just downloaded the vito notes free version. Really nice, being able to save in wav and mp3 is really useful
I've been searching for this feature a while ago and didn't find any free, working solution and even those payed ones seemed to be far from perfect. Today, I did the search again and realised that a very nice solution have shown up few months ago.
Seems to be working fine with Iolite (default ROM), even the version with "Record" option in call menu. Looks like it is also quite clean way as the main part is just a registry edit.
So, if you don't know it yet, here are links:

Article that led me to the solution back on xda-dev - thanks Google
Btw, there might be some legal (and ethical) issues with the call recording. E.g. in my country, recorded party has to be informed about this. Still, it can be very helpful when taking notes would be too slow or dagerous (when driving...).
The Auto Call Recorder works perfectly, more info: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=528507
Nice finding, thanks. Could be useful.

On the other hand, who'll know? As long as you keep these records for yourself.
