I have a strange problem with my tytn. My pocket outlook keep's going on even if I swicting it off( close it with the X) . It doing it so until I reset my device. Very annoying to not be able to switch the Go..them thing off. Why it's doing that for me ?

I tried to configure a GMail count in Pocket Outlook.
I've never been able t omake it word but since then Outlook is not working any more. I can launch it but I can't create any new account : I can't get through the 4/5 Window of the wizard => when I click Next nothing appears
Any idea to resolve this problem ?
I don't want to do a Hard Reset...

The main "Mail" tab of TouchFlo does show the number of unread emails in Outlook account but it doesn't show the Outlook E-mail icon in the list.
The POP accounts do have their individual icon in this tab.
I've been looking in the forum for a discussion around this issue but I couldn't find any.

Sorry - no solution. Just the same problem with my TP as well... The outlook account disappeared after an incomplete Sync with the PC during which the USB connection broke down.

Thanks for the hint - no change though. The problem is not within Pocket Outlook, just in the email tab in TF3D.
bumping this thread, I just encountered this issue and tried the mailrepair tool with no success, even delete the activesync and recreated it. still only icon for hotmail visible only... Someone has to have another solution..

I got my Outlook account to appear in TouchFlo3D by enabling and disabling Email sync through activesync
I'm wondering if it's possible to remove outlook from the email tab of TF3D.
I never use it, I use GMail for my email, so it just takes up space, and irritates me that it doesn't remember gmail as default after soft reset.
Any ideas?
Do you mean that you've set it up, and now want to remove it...? if that's the case, you can remove it when connected to your PC using the WM Device Centre...
Honestly can't remember where, but it's there....
i think he means the fact that there are 2 emails to chose from in the tf3d email tab. top one is the outlook one and the 2nd is the gmail one
he is not using the outlook..
anyway i have the exact same issue..restarting tf3d or phone resets to the default (outlook). so you have to manually select gmail afterwards
it takes one click but it can be annoying when you'r in a hurry
You can solve it by deselecting to synchronize your email with outlook in activesync.
After you have done that just remove the oulook email account and it will not come back anymore.

I had the same issue. Deselecting the syncronization removed the icon from the eMail page, all other settings I left unchanged.
Well, my problem is exactly the opposite. My outlook icon disappeared and I found no way to put it back there, even removing and recreating the outlook account...

I got an HD2 last week (an outstanding phone so far) and immediately synced it up via Active Sync to my Microsoft Outlook email account. All the emails flooded in as they should. But now I can't update my emails wirelessly, only when I sync up. Thus I set up the same account again in it's original btinternet form. I hope you're still with me.....This account is fine and updates as it should.
So, at the moment I've got the same email account setup twice with only one functioning properly and, as the title of this thread suggests, I want to delete the non-functioning Outlook account from the handset if I can. I've tried all the obvious methods ie going to mail, menu, account settings, delete and selecting the Outlook account, but all I get is 4 coloured dots rotating on the screen and no joy. I left it overnight and the dots were still spinning this morning! I've also deleted all the emails in the Outlook inbox, thinking that maybe they were causing the delay but that hasn't helped. Are there any other options or am I doing anything wrong?
Any advice would be appreciated, thanks in advance.

bascially, connect it up to sync again, and then on the sync cilent you de-select syncing of mail. it will then remove it!

No, none of those luckily! A bit of a pink tinge but once it focusses, the camera quality is actually quite good.
Not sure if this HD2 issue sounds familiar to anyone..
Partnership created, activated and working fine... then days or a week later, you get a message saying that something on your Exchange Server has changed and that you need to re-sync... except when you try, nothing happens..
So you delete the old partnership and start again and all is well until it happens again..
What is this all about..? And sometimes it will even wipe out my Outlook Contacts and my Outlook Notes.. WHY?
Any pointers appreciated..
i also have a problem synchronizing the HD2. when the contacts synchronize, i have in my phone 2-3 copies of each contact. what shall i do about it
