Looking for ROM & Radio versions for Qtek speed improvem

I have 2 versions of the XDA / Qtek 1010:
* O2 XDA pilot unit with ROM version 3.12.07 and Radio version 4.06
* Qtek1010 commercial unit with ROM version 3.18.04 ENG and Radio version 3.25.01
O2 XDA provides good response time but not the Qtek1010 which is more recent.
I have downloaded official release from O2 site of ROM version and Radio version 4.06 onto my Qtek1010, but it does not improve the performance.
1) How can I download ROM version 3.12.07 and Radio version 4.06 onto my Qtek1010 ?
2) Are there special hidden settings/instructions on XDA Radio version 4.21 or on Qtek1010 Radio version 3.25.01 to improve response time?[/list]

what do you mean by performance ? ... is it the Windows response or signal strength or GPRS speed or ..... what ???
BTW, Qtek ROM 3.18 + RSU 3.25 is the best and the most stable PPC2002 setup ... but depends on which area and operator you are dealing with.

By response time performance I mean the time it takes to display a new page (example: around 25 secs on Qtek and 14 secs on XDA).
I am in France and I used 2 different Tel providers, it did not make any difference.
Note: there is a mistake in my initial question: I downloaded from O2 site Radio version 4.21 (not 4.06) on my Qtek, and I am looking for how to doawnload 4.06.

Up to my information Qtek R3.25 was made for Asian networks but it works out side as well. The O2 R4.21 is the best for Europe and it works in the Middle East as well. So, it's what is the best fit to your provider.
Also, you may check your GPRS setting with your provider and you can compare the speeds by accessing this page www.texan.net/speed.htm from your XDA.

hhhmmm page ?
do you mean a new page in a word doc ?
or a internet page as in WWW?
if it's word then it sounds like an os issue
if it's www then it's a ISP / RSU issue most likely
if it's WWW then i'm sure you could find some pages or programs to measure the speed of your GPRS

NO SIGNAL

Hi , I have qtek 1010 ,I installed the new ROM from T mobile ,it worked well when I set my BAND to 900MGHZ … but I was playing and I change it to 1900MGHZ then my GSM signal keep ( searching …searching) and my green light for signal STOPPED flickering . No signal at all
I flash the ROM again with XDAtools and wallaby.
Dos not work … still my tell searching even the band set to 900MGHZ again
My Sim card still working with my normal nokia
Can any body help? My tell became a PAD

NO SIGNAL NO PROBLEM
I had the problem of loosing my 900MHZ GSM signal for Europe middle east and Asia after upgrade my QTEK 1010 to T mobile new ROM , when I upgrade both the ROM and the RADIO I lost my GSM signal, after several testes I found that the radio stack software upgrade called ( Radio_Stack_Upgrade_v421 ) from (HTC) the QTEK manufacture is the best because it ERASE PROGRAM B , the partition where the radio stack installed. I used the active sync and this file is self extractor.
My phone back to life, NO PROBLEM

signal is GONE!!!

i have JasJam and it was running all right but suddenly the signal gone of the SIM card and it said THERE IS NO SIM CARD.i just reomved the battery and did a restart and then it became all right again but every time it suddenly gone and i have to do restart .i have changed the ROM to the latest one but it was the same thing . i traveled and went to a mobile shop and they UPDATED it via a special devise that i didnt know it and it became all right and it worked with that operator. since i came back to my country it return back to the same prolem... i have changed the operator and it was the same problem.. i went to the service and they checked the sim place with an electronic meter and they said that everything is alright and he also added that this is the first time that he faces like this problem!!!
so what i have to do!!!!

Likely your GSM radio on the motherboard is slowly dying. No flash is going to correct this. What radio version are you using and what county or part of the county is the phone being used? ROM version - etc.

well i want to mention that i was in Yemen,which i faced the problem, and traveled to Qatar,which they fix it for me and it works all right, and then i returned back to Yemen and i tried the Qatarian sim card and it works.. but i tried the other operators in Yemen but it dosent work.although i am living in Yemen for four years and i didnt face like this problem and the other people who have also JasJam they didnt face like this problem at all...

3G/HSDPA not working

I've been using the phone for about half a year without 3G or HSDPA because I was out of coverage area
recently they launched 3G in my area and it could be picked up in my old TouchCruise but not on TouchDiamond2
I tried swapping the SIM Card but still got same results, it worked on the old phone but not on this one.
I was wondering if there is anything I could do to get the 3G to work as I want to make vdo calls

I have had the same problem since beginning and have it resolved last moth.
Basically it should be radio firmware issue. I've tried flashing all ROM available in the Radio ROM thread, but didn't help. Lastly I reflashed my TD2 with the latest stock ROM for my area (Asia) downloaded directly from HTC website. To my supprise - although Radio version was same as my previous one (got from Radio only thread) - 3G started working!!!
Now I reflashed the phone using OS only modded ROM but 3G still OK.

ok so I have to flash the original ROM (stock rom from the htc site)
to get the 3G to work
but I dont really like the stock roms (especially not the Thai one)
would I be able to flash something else on top of it later?

Sure you can, like I did.
If your phone is un-locked with HSPL - you cannot flash the stock ROM as per HTC guideline. You need to extract the downloaded one to get the ROM .nbh file and use it for flashing like with other customized ROM. Then later you can update you phone with any customized ROM with no Radio part inside.

Help!Phone bad signal 3g.

I installed the firmware Lenovo_A6000-l-TH_PH_USR_S008_1503172030_Q113507.1_BMAIN_8G_ROW.
Communication has settled but it also lacks the Russian language. (More locale does not translate all the items).
If this firmware takes an on-hlos.bin file and adds to another firmware, the network will work? Is he alone responsible for the network settings?
