I installed the firmware Lenovo_A6000-l-TH_PH_USR_S008_1503172030_Q113507.1_BMAIN_8G_ROW.
Communication has settled but it also lacks the Russian language. (More locale does not translate all the items).
If this firmware takes an on-hlos.bin file and adds to another firmware, the network will work? Is he alone responsible for the network settings?

ROM v3.14.02
Radio T310 (4.14 now, though )
add it to yout database, Ihaven't seen it there
the Language extender you mention is a userland program similiar tu PiLoc, not a part of ROM
can somebody recommend me an update for this? my radio rom is from O2 now, I plan flashing whole O2 Ireland image in it as I haven't found a more recent 900/1800 ENG version. is it ok?
Why do you wan to flash installed version of T-Mobile Czech?
Have you done localization into Czech language? I had a trouble after doing that, no task reminder was shown on TODAY's screen. Did it happend to you as well?
I had to change to original English version to have it in operation.
I have flashed the GSM Radio part only, the OS remains intact.
I don't care about localisation as it generally sux
The version I have has one important feature miissing - the GPRS Always On function...
Where did you take the ROM from? I haven't found a more recent ENG version which would flash into this one ;(
I report:
T-Mobile Czech works with O2 Ireland OS+GSM version for XDA it just needs some handy work with hexadecimal editor convincing updater to do it
new xda2 user
ahoj, im new XDA2 user, do you have some usefull programs for change ? (auto on/off radio) etc ? bye Tom
Hi, I have a T-Mobile MDA with the T-Mobile Rom 4.00.10 ENG in Austria/Europe. Radio Version 4.21.00 of O2 Germany. And use a network operator in Austria (Telering) operating on 1800 MHz.
Here is what happened. Everything was perfectly fine, until I did all the "official updates" of T-Mobile (OS+radio) which wrecked my MDA. After really getting into the subject and 5 cooked roms at jeffs kitchen and SD bios replacements, I finally got the thing working again. I am using the combination in the first line (o2 + Tmobile) which "kind of" works fine. Here is the deal: Using operator A1 (900MHZ) everything is perfectly fine. Using Telering (1800MHZ) everything seems fine for about 30 minutes, then the signal indicator still says there is a connection, the green light blinks, BUT if you make a call it fails with not available, or if someone phones me he gets to the voicemail. Interestingly I figured out that under PHONE/BAND options only 900/1900 is available, while non is selected. THE ROM I USED IS the T-Mobile GERMANY rom. I also used the band selector method in the bootloader to select 1800 MHZ which i need. It is obvious that the system operates on that band, as I do have a connection, but it drops it. Any ideas? Thanks a million guys, Matt
Interesting Problem - 900/1800 and 1900 Band in Europe
Found out some more... The official T-Mobile update on the Tmobile website in Germany actually includes TWO different nbf files. It checks what you have installed. Number one is a English 4.x version Number two is a german 3.16.45 version.
Again, I still encounter the problem on 1800 MHz, any ideas?
Solved
hi, as it seems, using the original german 3.x bios of their germany website (not the english nbf which is also included in the file) also the 1800 MHz band works perfectly fine. No matter which 4.x version I use I encounter the problem (e.g. from the german O2 website, Jeffs Kitchen and so on). It does not seem to be a radio problem (now I use the latest of the german o2 website) but the interaction with the main OS. So no 4.x version for me here in Austria on 1800Mhz. If anyone ever solves this issue or has a MDA on 1800 Mhz running with a 4.x OS please let me know via PM. Thanks everyone. Logging off. M
where did you get the phone from ?
T-mobile USA or T-mobile Germany ?
T-mibile USA Pocket PC phone is GSM 900/1900 phone, so you cannot work on GSM 1800!
Hi, it was a mobile of TMOBILE GERMANY. And as such a 900/1800MHz phone. So this is why it actually works on the 1800Mhz band. Havind said that with the German T-Mobile Rom of the german website using the SECOND NBF, which is in english, you get a rom which seems to be for the US, as it is a version 4.x (not for resale, test only) and showing 900/1900 Mhz in the band options....
Strange though that this flash is offered to the European customers, cause if you have a english rom underneath it will automatically install this english version.
Anyway, I switched to the german version using bootloader and everthing is fine now. Still use the O2 radio stack.
USA At&t is PW10A and work on 1800Mhz
I bought a Sx56 as aAt&t unlocked phone, now I need to change it to bandwidth 1800Mhz that we use in Brazil. I read in this forum model PW10A works in 900/1800mhz I think I just need to use the right BIOS, anyone here knows what bios I should use? Thanks.
Last 3 month i just download rom UK version and after 5 day use my XDA11i the phone not having a signal and also IMEI is missing including radio protocol. Is they any way i can reflash the rom with asia version. Where can i download the rom for xda11i (asia version).
Hello
I'm reading a lot in this forum, but I can't really understand all the updates, firmwares and stuff.
I have a iPAQ 614c (bought in Sweden) and flashed it with WM6.5 (21232 Beta 6 WWE). It works great, so far better than the 6.1 beta (thanks keyx!)
Since I got this phone I've some problem with the calls, sometimes it's bad sound quality, sometimes people try to call me, but the phone don't ring.
1. Does a newer radio firmware solves these kind of problems?
2. Is it possible to flash back a radio firmware if a newer doesn't help?
3. Which radio firmware is the best and compatible with my Ipaq?
4. I've tried flash to v.0.89 but the update program says my phone is not compatible (Product IDs: FA988AA#ABB, FA988AT#ABB, FA992AA#ABB, FB136AA#ABB, and FA992AT#ABB is supported), mine is called A992AT#ABS. Where do I find one for my phone?
5. On hp.com says modem fw, is it the same as radio fw?
Very thankful for all answers!
Sry for my bad english.
Hi, my J530F was bought in portugal few years ago. It uses the very last android ROM J530FXXS9CUE5, last update on May 25th 2021. (this rom seems to be from poland).
I'm now back in France. I live in a white zone (cant receive gsm signal, sms etc).
To solve this issue, Bouygues telecom propose the VOWIFI service. My Phone is in their compatibility list but I dont have the "VOWIFI" function to be activated in the parameters. From then on I have to shift to the official Bouygues ROM J530FXXS8CUB1 . (https://www.phonandroid.com/forum/t...-pour-samsung-galaxy-j5-2017-sm-j530f.173304/)
I have tried several roms with odin and was unable to complete the process. I believe my actual ROM is newer than the last official bouygues ROM, which is no allowing me to install this bouygues ROM. I need help to find out how I can change my ROM and access to this VOWIFI option i really need. Hope i'm clear enough. Thanks in advance for your help.

Most likely the CSC from the ROM you are trying to install is not compatible (by default) with your device.
You can try with a patched Odin https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/patched-odin-3-13-1.3762572/
If this doesn´t work you should search for an engineer firmware for your device, and over that you could flash any ROM you want.
Basically what you need is change the CSC
this has to be done after completely format the device.
Thank you so much, i finally found a official french rom with CSC 9 compatible with my phone. I now have the function i was looking for on my phone, thanks again +++
