Serious, I have no idea why! Few days ago it worked fine. Today, after installing the new intellidialer.dll (for german Umlaute: f.e. Ö,Ä), the intellidialer doesn´t come up anymore. I could only dial numbers without any suggestion of names. So I put the old dll back again and made a softrest. But still no effect. Next idea was to install intellidial from exROM again. So I installed:
IntelliDialer_Magician_T-Mobile_GER_RC20.CAB
and
IntelliPad_Magician_T-Mobile_GER_RC20.CAB
Result: I got back the damn T-Mobile branding and still no effect on intellidialer. May I missed something. Any suggestions?
i have same problem after Big storage 1.13...my intellidial doesn't work even after installing the IntelliDialer_Magician_T-Mobile_WWE_RC20.CAB
any advice?
I think the intellidialer.dll was not loaded normally. Try to backup your PPC with SPB backup etc. and hard reset your PPC. install intellidialer_magician...R20.cab, then recover your ppc from your backup.
tried & no help...
still can't have intellidial.funny thing is if i use my old 1.11 extended rom intellidial patch,i works.Buts its version 13..compared to version 20 for the 1.13.
any difference between the 2 versions anyway?

On the WM Team Blog they address the reaction to the nearly worthless battery icon replacing the clock. Good news is that ROMs using AKU2.2 and later will allow you to add the clock back in, bad news is that the current JasJar ROM (1.30.76) doesn't seem to have the 2.2 release of AKU.
Can people with other carrier's ROMs check to see if the registry edit they provide works with your ROM?
The egistry edit is to add a DWORD titled ShowTitleBarClock with the value of 1 in the HKEYLM/SOFTWARE/Microsoft/Shell location.
Didn't work for me
Doesn't work in the latest dopod rom 1.30.111 either...
The message on the MS site is from yesterday, and the guy is speaking of a "further release", i think AKU 2.2 don't exist yet
btw: isn't working on my wizard too
AKU 2.2.1 exists...
this is the nessesery file, you need to replace the existing one with this one (windows directory)
and add
[HKEYLM/SOFTWARE/Microsoft/Shell]
"ShowTitleBarClock"=dword:1
this is only for AKU 2.0!
!!!Attention: Make a backup and read through this tropic!!!
Problems with Universal roms!!!!
Perhaps related to the certification. Plz someone with removed certification try this... and post the results.
RE
The shell32.exe file in my QTEK 9000 is located in ROM something which you cannot copy out.
Does a soft reset reverts back to original battery icon if I'll to replace with the attached shell32.exe file?
After the battery icon is replaced by the clock icon, can I add a date to it also using any known method to put a date on top of the clock?
I believe a hard reset will definitely reverts back to the original battery icon, right?
Thanks
only a hard reset reverts back to the original.
add a date: I think so... not tested, but it should work.
I have a special rom where it is possible to overwrite system files, but It could be difficult to replase shell32.exe on a normal rom and I cant make a cab, because I dont know how to sign that.
plz someone with the knowledge about that make a cab.
don't bother, because even if you replace the shell32.dll, it wont restart, displaying the keyboard and getting stuck there.
You will have to hard reset and restore from a backup to get back your device.
A word of warning - back up before trying this. It hosed my universal. It would not even finish booting, and I had to hard reset.
Surur
Ok, I realy sorry.
It works for me...
Himalaya (rom based on 2.00a)
On my ROM (Qtek latest) in \Shell\Taskbar there's a regkey LimitedClock set to 1. If I set that to 0, the clock will at least display everywhere except Today, both in landscape and portrait modes. With it set to 0 as per standard, the clock only shows up while in apps *and* landscape, apps/portrait it doesn't. As long as the Today screen time&date plugin is switched on, this means you've always got the clock. BTW, needs a softreset to activate, Taskbar settings apparently are only read on first startup.

I'm sure you realise this is a universal forum? You should edit your post to remove your file before somebody else zaps it's unit.
I dont think so, because the os is the same.
My rom is not realy Himalaya, it is a ported wizard os and only the drivers of Himalaya.
So the file should work on all WM5 devices, perhaps the problem is related to the removed certification on Him 2.0 rom's.
(This file is from an Atom rom not Himalaya)
But you are right, I edited the post.
Disablesecurity.cab, replace shell32.exe with new, softreset
Hangs at boot with the soft keyboard superimposed over the boot screen. Hard reset to fix.
Basically, avoid this for a while.
......or use Wisbar Advance 2 and you have your clock back on the Today screen....
Cheers

You can access that feature simply by going to the date/time settings and enabling "Display the clock on the title bar in all programs" on the |More| tab.
O2 xda Atom have AKU2.2.1 and it really works no more battery icon.

Hello,
It is my first post on this forum.
Yesterday, I unlocked my frensh SPVM3000 (Wizard) and tried to replace my "shell32.exe" by the "shell32.exe" downloadable on this post.
It was a BAD idea! My SPV starting crashed because it was for Universal smartphone. I used the button sequence to re-install the original software.
Have you an address where I can download the "shell32.exe" of the Wizard AKU 2.2 software?
Thanks for your help.
Seb...

Unfortunately, it doesn't seem to do jack on the Treo 700wx regardless of the settings I chose. I soft-reset the device and even installed/uninstalled.

thanks I was just wondering.
~Mike
When running the cab it gives me;
Failed to install aria htc x.cab
This is on Prophet (Qtek S200) Anyone else seen this error?
kind regards
marl
Edit, downloaded again, works fine now, thx for the cab
Any ideas if this is possible to be mapped to a hard button.....like the ok button on the 750v?
Thanks
I have tried three times on my TyTn but every time the cab file fails to install. I downloaded the zip file, renamed it and put in in my SD card. When installing I got the message Cound not install etc.
Any help available?
I'd suggest you to have a look to the device and try to find out if there is no left files from the former installation.
I've struggled time ago with such Resco things. Maybe it's the same issue.
It's only for Pocket PC PE, or it be useful for WM 5.0 Smartphone Edition?
I have a Qtek 8310. ¿Can I use this taskmanager?
Thanks
Greetings all,
I just got my hands on an Xda IIs which was running wm2003 and i just upgraded it to Windows Mobile 6 with no dramas. Everything is working fine except when i try to install the Live.cab from the missing cabs archive, every time i try to install it it just comes and says 'Installation of live.cab was unsuccessful'. I have tried installing just the cab that came with rom and the WL_Install.exe method (That installs through ActiveSync) and i get the error everytime.
I followed the guide in the wiki and this is the only issue i am having with it at the moment. anyone have any clue what may be the cause of the issue or another way to install it? Or even another type of messenger program that connects to msn and such. (Sort of like trillian for the pc but for smart phones?)
I also only did what the guide said, but i have heard mention of installing radio or something like (For voice clarity and such?) is that something i still need to do and have missed or recommended? Any other good recommendations on apps or tweaks i should perform?
Sorry if this is a bit newbieish but this is my first time flashing and upgrading a phone and you gotta start somewhere right?
try the windows live from xplode's thread of WM6.1.. there you can find it bundled with the ROM.. mine works perfectly
PS:i'm using 20226 Xplode's WM6.1
Yep that did the trick. Thanks for that

Hi Studebaker72.
Try this one it finally worked on my Diamond, and keeps calibration after a soft reset...

Thanks pal, but also that did not work at all. Same phenomenon, in the end the settings jump back to what was there before.

Exactly like it happens to me. When you click calibrate, it looks like its calibrating, but when the process is over, it just reverts back to before.
For my it worked but the calibration is gone after soft reset

same problem here!
another eventually interesting information:
a friend of mine got his diamond today, it's a german one with 1.37 and radio 03
preinstalled.
after flashing hardspl 1.40 dev, radio 08 and wildberry v1 he was able to calibrate
the sensor flawlessly.
my diamond was from the first uk batch, otherwise we have ident devices,
same spl, same radio and same rom. but for me the calibration is not working...
Works great on my diamond, even after soft-reset!
German XDA with original O2 1.93.207.2 ROM!
This does not work
Does not work for me either.. Allthough i think i might have found the solution to why some people can get it to work while others can't..
How many degress is your device off calibrated before you try to calibrate it? I have discovered that the people who can get it to work, is if their device is less than 15 degress of calibrated. However if your device is more than 15 degress of, then it won't calibrate..
Can anyone confirm this theory? We discussed this back in the first thread that was created with the g-sensor calibrator tool some time ago..
