netaddress.com/usa.net webmail site not displaying - 8525, TyTN, MDA Vario II, JasJam General

hello
i am trying to use PIE on my tytn to connect to netaddress.com, to read my webmail.
the site does not display properly, in particular it does not show the emails in the right-hand frame.
does anyone have the same problem ?
unfortunately i cannot show the exact problem as the site requires registration: https://www.netaddress.com/tpl/Door/Login?Domain=usa.net

Actually I find it works with Opera, si it must be a PIE issue.
That said, I cannot get the search function on this very website (xda-developers.com) to work on either Opera or PIE
Is that the case for anyone else ?
It works on my old IPAQ 6315, so it would be a disappointment !

First Real VGA Web Browser

This seems to be the first real VGA browser from Netfront, absolutely packed with features, Flash, Java etc.. and REAL VGA mode as well as a virtual screen size .....the catch, this is only a technical preview and the thing seems so unstable on my Universal! everytime you try to open a web page the app just closes!
download from here for a limited time

Netfront instability
The same thing happens to me on my Jasjar, but there is a kind of workaround. It does not work with the wifi connection, but if you connect via standard internet explorer to a gprs or 3g connection and then open netfront it works fine. I hope they resolve the glitches in their formal release.
But on their website they clearly state that the technical preview version 3.3 is for windows mobile 2003 and 2003 SE. So no wonder it does not work on the Jasjar.
I will though try the work around stated here.
For me the workaround doesn't work.
tried but does not work either
With the workaround no luck for me. Netfront just closes as soon as I hit the "go" icon after typing in a web address.
@ apap could kindly explain the work around you suggest in a bit more detail as we might not have understood properly.
Thanks and Regards
Workaround
I was just following the advice of another user at the wm5 fix site http://www.wm5fixsite.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=57&Itemid=54
It worked for me, though only when my connection was a gprs/3g connection. Otherwise, with a wifi connection I have the same problem, i.e., the minute I hit the go button netfront dissapears. The important thing seems to be that the connection gprs connection has to be open when you attempt to go to a site with netfront.
I have installed netfront on my sd card and I would suggest a soft reset before you try.
Hope it works for you, apap
Netfront
I think, the problem is with WM5. Have the same experience as you guys with my JASJAR.
Tried it on my Magician (WM2K3se): works like a charm
Cheers

i tried it on xda iis and i love it!
As I mentioned earlier. There is a problem on wm2005 - indeed it has not been made for 2005 - but at least for me I managed to run it on my jasjar (imate) with wm2005 using the workaround. Before I purchased the jasjar I was using it on my magician and it worked perfectly.
Netfront
Tried it with the workaround:
- Opened IE
- loaded a Website with IE
- Started Netfront
- selected a bookmark
- OK
- Netfront disappears.
Cheers

Strange. Is there anyone besides me in this forum that has managed to get netfront to work with gprs connection on Jasjar?

Cingular 8125 WM6 Exchange Server Issues - Can't connect since upgrading from WM5

Hey all,
I have been running the PDAViet 4.0 version of the WM6 rom for our wizards. I must say that so far it seems loads better than most of the roms I have tried on it (and I have tried most of them )
Before, I had no issues with getting push email from my exchange server at work. Now after upgrading to WM6, I can't seem to connect for the life of me. When I connect, I get a "Support code: 0x80072F06" error. Now instead of being a total tool and just asking you smarties to solve my question without any leg work on my part, I researched this error code and it seems to be a certificate error. I have entered my exchange server info the EXACT way as before.
I even exported the certificate from IE, and imported it into my 8125. Same error. I then also downloaded the SSLChainSaver app, extracted the certificates from my exchange server, made it into a .cab file, imported it...nothing.
So, that being said, do you think that this is some sort of a WM6 issue? I would really hate to go back to WM5 at this point.
I saw somewhere that you could disable the OS from checking for a SSL certificate by doing a registry change, but when navigating to HKCU/Software/Microsoft/Activesync/Partners/UID blah blah <-- that last part isn't in there, so I can't insert a value to disable it... Please help!!!!!
The only other issue I have seen at this point with the WM6 rom is that the keyboard is jacked up...my dot characters aren't right at all...however the numbers and letters are fine.
Thank you so much for any help you can provide. I have been lurking on the site since the 8125 came out, and I must say I have learned a great deal from this community. Thanks!

M$ needs to patch exchange 2007 for it to work (if I am recalling the other post correctly).
--M
(search is your friend)
In other words, if you want to use Push email you can't use WM6?

Are you running Exchange 2003 at work? I'm still on 2003 and have never had a problem, whether with WM5 or WM6. I DO, however, ALWAYS configure my AS on the device initially. (If I use the PC I don't get my tasks) ... Plus it's just easier for me.
If the certificate worked with WM5 it'll work with WM6.
Is there an easy way to figure it out without asking anyone? I work for an IT company that runs all of m$'s latest stuff as far as I can tell. I would imagine they are at least 03. It worked just fine all day, and I know lots of people connected right now with WM5. It just seems to be picky with WM6 for some reason.
I am also running Vista on my work machine. There is no activesync. Now it is win mobile device center, and it doesn't feel the same at all. I haven't gotten it to sync with my phone on bluetooth yet. You can't specify com ports in the tool at all, just bluetooth. Oh well, keep reading I guess
It was the ROM...
I switched to the Underground Rom and everything seems to be working fine now. I wouldn't advise anyone with an 8125 to use the PDAViet 4.0 rom, this one, however, works great.
SSL
You are right. I Disabled SSL and Direct push worked for me
You're lucky! I couldn't even get it to work by doing that...

Pocket Internet explorer and php

Hi All,
I've produced a web form for one of my clients. This is a simple fill in the details and press 'submit' type of affair written in PHP, but is a HTM document hosted on our server.
This works fine on my Touch, but the 'submit' button does not work on the clients Orange m3100. I know that the m3100 is WM5 and the Touch is WM6 but i never knew PIE was different.
Is this a security issue with PIE or do I need to update it? If so, how do I do this without changing the ROM?
BTW my client is miles away, so I can't get my hands on the handset.
Help?!
Steve
if its a htm page running on pie with elements of php try making a wap page instead, ive noticed some pages are fussy on pie especially with forms which sometimes use elements of java as well. ive got a few sites ive had issues with forms on.
wish they would fix pie up.

error 0x80072f78 using gprs...NOT activesync problem

hell peeps..i wonder if anyone can help with the following prob..
i have an xda mantle running wm6.1 on a t-mobile sim card.
for work out in the field i use internet explorer set up to use gprs to contact my works servers via exchange.
the pda then connects with software called tesseract and i fill out info on pages then submit the filled in pages.
the whole thing works great but on ONE page only i get the error "the page you are looking for cannot be found due to error 0x80072f78"
i then have to refresh the page and try again,,sometimes it takes up to 10 goes before it will progress onto next page of tesseract software.
it only happens on this one page..no others.
have deeply researched this prob here and on google...it always refers to an activesync problem...I DO NOT HAVE THIS PROB....just the prob described above.
i find it hugely irritating and am willing to have babies to whom can help me

Opera and NTLM support

Hi all,
since a couple of days I have a new HD2 and it's fantastic!
On my old Diamond I was able to enable the NTLM support in Network section of Opera config file but, with a big surprise, in the current configuration (on HD2) the NTLM is missing (in the Network section and other of configuration file).
Since I need authentication for ISA proxy (via NTLM) on company intranet (my connection is through dedicated APN that link directly on company intranet) I can't use Opera on my HD.
Any suggestion or workaround?
IE works corretly but don't suppport multi touch zoom so I would like to use Opera.
The previous version of Opera installed on Diamod (last italian official ROM) work perfectly.
Thanks all!!
I'm interested in this too (just bookmarking the page really).
I use IE as Opera doesn't work, but would rather use Opera. I browse private folders via IIS and don't have the opportunity to log in with Opera.

Doing the same (bookmarking), just for fun I tried to check some webapps on my corporate Intranet set up with IIS integrated authentication and it worked perfectly with IE. I didn't try with Opera. Will do on monday and see if I can come up with a solution

Opera doesn't offer a dialog to enter domain authentication. It just says "the server requested a login authentication method that is not supported."
It seems pretty sure of itself
I'm not entirely happy about this, but there appears to be a workround...
http://forums.asp.net/t/305782.aspx
Doesn't help if you don't have admin rights on the server, of course.
You are right on both accounts! It IS very sure of itself. As MS would say, this is not a bug, this is a feature or this is by design.
As for the workaround, I hadn't seen your post until now and being sysadmin for a lot of IIS servers, I thought about the same solution, tested and it works. I came back here to report about it but you beat me to the post by almost 48 hours -
Anyway, it's not a good solution and not everybody with a HD2 has admin rights on the IIS servers of his company.
So we are stuck with IE until maybe a new version of Opera mobile. After all, Opera on desktops supports it (sort of...)
Ok, thanks for support.
What sounds strange to me, is that Opera installed on my old Diamond implement the NTLM authentication and the version on HD2 (newer) not at all. Moreover I installed the Opera 10 beta and, in this version also, the NTLM support is missing (I don't find it in the configuration file).
Why they removed it?
