I have an XDA II from O2, ROM 1.72.00WWE, Radio 1.17.00, Pocket PC 4.20.0, built 14053 and I have the following issue:
When I got an SMS or a missed call, the red LED does not blink. How to solve it?

have you checked that it's enabled in sounds and notifications ?

Start -> Setting -> Notification -> 1. Select an event "Phone: Missed Call"
u check in Flash Light for ....
Start -> Setting -> Notification -> 1. Select an event "Inbox: New SMS Message"

Does anyone know if there is an option to turn on the indicator light when you have a new text message or voice mail? I see the phone has a amber/green light and was wondering if there is a way to make it blink a certain color when you have a message waiting..

Tap: Start < Settings < Sounds & Notifications < Notifications(tab)
Then select the event you want to change (SMS, missed call etc.) and check the box 'Flash light for'
thanks... I ended up getting it to work but I had to use NueLed to disable the signal light first for it to work... I dont know why but that was my only way of getting it to flash the amber light.
thats because you wanted it to flash a nonstandard color right? i know a lot of roms already due this when you make the system change above.
It seemed like when the Green service light was active it was not allowing the text message indicator to go on... not sure but after disabling it worked.
Why do I not get that blinking green/red light when a new sms has arrived or when I have a missed call?
have you checked sound¬ifications -> notifications | event
There is nothing about leds in that section
if you chose under event dropbox lets say
Messaging: new text message then you can chose an option flash light for x minutes
I believed that option is no longer available if you are on stock rom (WM6.5)...only on custom ROM are the options still avail...

Can someone tell me how to disable the fact that delivery notification msg appears as new sms (led blinking and count increased by 1)
I would like to have the delivery notification as usual but not presented as a new sms and no led blinking.
Anyone can help ? thx

search, read, learn.
if not mistaken, go to message tab, all messages/inbox, menu, settings, options, then untick "request delivery notification". I think there's no way delivery notification doesnt appear as a new SMS. Maybe there's an alternative to make it appear as a pop up, dunno.

I did search on the forim and google, i found some reg tweak not doing what i want, i tried some software but it was the same result.
i dont want to disable the sms delivery notification, it doesnt bother me to have them in the inbox, i just dont it to increase the number of new sms nor appear as new sms (and stop led blinking for delivery sms)
With my stock rom it was working like that, but i needed to upgrade...
all i dont want is it to be considered as new sms and the led from blinking.

search more. I'm sure I've seen a cab for that, really. The notification will only appear on the very top bar, tap on it, it gives you the type of connection, the battery, and on the third row the notification I think, and no new sms. enhanced notification maybe?

which stock ROM, exactly?
so with no new sms, I suppose the delivery notification should only appear on the top bar as a box icon that you must tap on?
My previous stock rom: 1.43 (was that since the day I did buy Leo)
My current rom is: Leo_HTC_FRA_1.66.406.1_Radio_Signed_15.30.50.07U_2.06.51.07
I tried Juggalo_x's enhanced notifications and clouding cab, but its not working: I sill get the blinking led and "1 new msg icon when I receive the delivery report"
